Considering how high Doctor Whooves is over on that poll on the side bar, it looks like this is something a ton of you will be all over! Doctor Whooves Adventures is a radio play, something the real airwaves are sadly lacking these days.
So sit back, open up the Youtube page, (Or check after the break) and bury yourself in the land of time traveling and crazyness.
Have some copy paste:
The first episode of the the Doctor Whooves Adventures, a radio play by Ponyinaboxproductions, is up and ready for listening and download- A strange Box crashes into the library, and an even stranger stallion pops out....what's going on? Listen to find out! And tune in to Celestia Radio next week on Febuary 25th at 6pm EST to see what happens next time!

ReplyDeleteYay Doctor Whooves!

ReplyDeleteThis would be the reason why I picked said poll option, actually.
ReplyDelete@MyBoyJ I want to be part of the noble quest of stopping the first comment. If you will allow me to join you.

ReplyDelete@MyBoyJ Yes, but people have welcomed you with open arms and exaltation. In the past, when I was doing it, people hated me for commenting.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.
@Bombedrumbum LOL That would be me. xD
ReplyDeleteMore than that....
ReplyDelete@Bombedrumbum they are trolling you bombe

ReplyDelete@Bombedrumbum Your not mad at me are you? PLEASE DON'T BE MAD AT ME!
ReplyDelete@Beta-Carotene
ReplyDeleteI first-block and people seem to like that the top comment isn't just a mindless "first".
As to why they like it...
I'm not mad at anyone in specific. I just don't like the fact (itself) that people hated me while people love(d) him.
ReplyDeleteHoly shit, only a few minutes in and I love it already.
ReplyDelete@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeleteGottcha, nice job then X3
Okay, now to get back to the video. It's pretty well done. I like the music too, lol. the voice acting/scripting is pretty well done too :D
ReplyDelete@Bombedrumbum Well I don't know why people would get mad about that. I like when people actually have something to say other than first.
ReplyDeleteI love audio stuff and this is in my favorite fanfic list. Everyone should listen to this! The doctor is amazingly voiced.
ReplyDeleteWait, 6 EST is 4 PM Mountain Time, which is a half-hour after I get home from school.
ReplyDeleteMy Fridays just got (dare I say it) 20% cooler.
I'm ashamed of myself to admit this, but this is my first interaction of any sort with the Dr. Who universe. Or is that multiverse? In any case, this radio show was so fabulously brilliant, that I feel compelled to go out and pick up the entire series, just to see what I've been missing. If it's anything like this, I'm sure I won't be disappointed.
ReplyDeleteThe Doctor's voice is spectacular. Twilight and Spike's are a tad off, but still very good.
ReplyDeleteI came into the fandom just as the auditions for this closed, sadly. However, I have to say, so far it's everything I hoped for in a Doctor Whooves Radioplay! Keep up the amazing work!
ReplyDeletehe sounds too much like david tennant. im having a fangasm
ReplyDeletetwilight sounds like dana
ReplyDeleteThat was great! LOL at the Doctor not being able to get Twilights name right.
ReplyDeleteI've actually been thinking lately that the Internet is resurrecting a lot of forgotten art forms. Here we have a radio drama, not seen since the 1940s. Fallout: Equestria is a shining example of a serialized novel (or three), which I'm fairly certain didn't exist outside of The New Yorker. Streaming music sites have revived the fabled "radio station that isn't Top 40 or classic rock".
ReplyDeleteBut now, on to the show! As noted, the Mane 6 are a little different, but not annoyingly so, and the scripting is brilliantly consistent. Nice Doctor, too. Wonder if we'll see Derpy…
Oh, crap, are those Weeping Angels? …Yes. Yes, they are. Excuse me while I change my pants.
Oh, poor Twilight…And poor "Ecuador", for that matter.
Fantastic job, guys! I look forward to the next one!
Ive got goosebumps EVERYWHERE!!!!! BRING ON THE DOCTOR!!!!!
ReplyDelete@Shimmer Scroll
ReplyDeleteAudio dramas are not so common on the radio, it's true. There are a few ('The Archers' is probably the best well known; it's been running for decades). I've always been partial to the SF ones - the pictures seem to be better on the radio...
If anyone is interested in more Doctor Who audio, check out 'Big Finish'; they have hundreds, all voiced by one or more of the actual Doctors.
*puts on hipster glasses*
ReplyDeleteI listened to it when it premiered last night on Celestia Radio.
Oh hey, this was the first fanfic of any kind I read.
ReplyDelete... and then the author had to disappear and leave serial 2 incomplete :/.
@[Bear]hobag
ReplyDeleteI'm working on it!
Totally Epic
ReplyDelete@Beta-Carotene
ReplyDeleteNot really, this has been in production for the better part of the last six months or so in one way or another.
Well, this was a fabulous production.

ReplyDeleteThis is amazing. Can't wait for the next one!
ReplyDelete@Luna-tic Scientist
ReplyDeleteI've heard of the fabled "Big Finish" audio dramas — I've been meaning to pick up Doctor Who for quite a while — but here in the US, radio dramas are deader than leg warmers. It's mostly classic rock, country, top 40, or public radio. It's nice to know the format is living on somewhere.
The voice actors aren't that far off. Spike's a little iffy, but the Doctor is spot-on for David Tennant.
ReplyDeleteOf all the characters, I think Pinkie is the best written, as far as keeping in character, though the Doctor is a close second.
All right, that's the technical praise and criticism.
Ohmigosh ohmigosh ohmigosh ohmigosh ohmigosh ohmigosh ohmigosh
I was stunned by the voicework. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt needs about 20% more Derpy.
ReplyDeleteI got a big stupid grin on my face the second he started talking.
