I have a weird sort of respect for Read it and Weep, even though I personally didn't like it too much. I tend to be really nitpicky about episodes and it passed most my usual tests, but for whatever reason didn't grab me.
Quality episode and I hope more are as good, even if they don't appeal to me personally.
Daring Do as a concept works really well. The fact that there's fiction in the Pony universe makes the show feel even that much more deeper and real than it already had. (Seriously, Rainbow Dash writing a fanfiction? That's so Meta even God's brain is starting to hurt.)
Plus pony adventure, which the show does well but has been forced to be stingy on. You can feel the tug and pull, between faust and the team that wanted a show with chosen ones wielding powerful primal magic to battle physical gods and eldritch abominations, where as hasbro just wanted a cute little show that teaches little girls life lessons. Read it and weap managed to have it both ways in just half an hour!
