#1 Come on, Rainbow Dash. She went for the full cheerleading routine. Give her credit for that. LOL. Gotta say, Fluttershy does look pretty cute in that outfit.
#2 Poor ponies. Seems like Pinkie's gonna have the hardest recovery out of the four of them.
1. Jock and the cheerleader are a classic pair. Plus Fluttershy looks good in a skirt.
2. Pinkie really should stop knocking down one of the walls in all our houses daily, her body keeps getting crushed under the weight of the materials and everything. We are litterally putting her in the hospital with our walls!
You're not doing it right. (Rolls up newspaper, dips in water, tosses it in the refridgerator for an hour and then threatens someone with a handheld ice bat flail of icicle spikiness.)
There, that's how you make a newspaper mean something. You didn't even bother to roll up yours or aim for the head or anything.
1.) Cheerleader Fluttershy (can't come up with a terrible pun for that one) is insanely adorable. Seems she still hasn't gotten the hang of wearing clothes yet, though. Leasr she's figured out cheering.
2.) Not Kicks McGee!! Anything but that! Oh well, at least she'll be better by next Saturday at 10 AM.
#1 Heh heh, it's funny cause that was the same face Fluttershy made when she was woken up and realized she wasn't wearing any clothes and then in this comic she realized she forgot the top that goes with the skirt :D
Hi! KT here, the guy who drew "Ponies Are Resilient". After I posted it, I did another version, with more visible fourth-wall damage: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7368691/
Could you possibly cache your image/comic on another site? My university's network has started blocking Fur Affinity.
This isn't a problem with Drawfriend posts, because Seth always caches a copy on blogger. But for some reason, the same doesn't apply for these standalone comic posts. Thus, I have no means to see your work.
I understand if you don't want it hosted elsewhere; but, if not, I'll have to throttle Seth until he caches it here like Drawfriend stuff.
Sure, no problem! The version posted here: http://kinkyturtle.masemware.com/pictures/ponies/brokenwing-nocrack.jpg The improved version I created later: http://kinkyturtle.masemware.com/pictures/ponies/brokenwing.jpg
Why!!! Furry website Do Not Want it burns Seth why *wipes tear from eye* I thought you loved us? I know we should love and tolerate but their meaning of love is mixed
#1, Fluttershy in cheerleader skirt and pom poms is adorable. *squee*
#2, Rainbow Dash is resilient. Twilight Sparkle is magic. It doesn't have to explain s*bleep*. Applejack is not amused. Personally, I don't find the doctor's comment that funny either. Pinkie Pie is Pinkie Pie. There is no cure.
Yknow, with how many people wanting a FA warning, might as well. I mean, why not? It's not like it'll cause any harm. I don't get ya guys who don't agree...
I think we should see some of Fluttershy or RD's parents, we've seen all the other mane 6ers.
And do we really need a vote on whether or not Seth's FA disclaimer should be larger than 400x600? Seriously a few ponies are acting like he posted a pic of RB in the hospital over a link to the lemon party or something.
There is NOTHING on that entire page that is safe for work. No saucy ads, no naughty user icons, absolutely nothing to be worried about. And I'm even logged in on my account there, and I have mature content enabled. EVEN THEN you don't see anything non PG.
Looking at it at work? I'd be more worried getting caught not doing your job, then looking at FA specifically.
Warnings? You already have a warning. Your own browser shows the link's adres on mouseover.
If ya really wanna keep touting the love and tolerance theme, and keep telling everyone how awesome this fandom is, you guys should first stop with all the whining. You're almost worse then furries.
Please people, grow up.
Seth & EqD team, big thumbs up for just posting what is good, no matter where it comes from. You're all a great example to this community.
Well, I don't know why. But what are WE to say that they AREN'T inconvenienced by going to FA without being alerted first. I mean, people want it and it's not like anyone's harmed by leaving a small notice where the link leads to.
Humouring the stereotype isn't exactly the best way of handling this sort of thing, to be honest. Hard to tell if it's humouring or trying to encourage.
As far as problem links, perhaps rather than trying to stigmatise entire sites only so you can look cool, perhaps we could find another system. Say, have an admin look at each submission and determine what is posted in the comics post. Sound like a good idea? I think some of the ED admins might find that system familiar sounding.
@DeRockProject No harm, none at all. Aside from, you know, artists who happen to post there. No stigma at all by declaring an entire site to require a warning, is there.
There is a warning already. If you take the trouble to keep your eyes on the bottom of your browser screen, that little bar down there? Mouse over the pictures or any links you see. See what it states there?: http://furaffinity...
I dont know of other browsers, but Firefox does this, Chrome does this, IE does this. I'm assuming they pretty much ALL do this.
And as Qaianna said. Putting a warning because it's furaffinity is only playing into the stigma. Then even the people who don't have problems with FA will start wondering. It's got a warning. Then that means there *is* something wrong with it...
Heck, then you can go put warnings everywhere.
Careful! Deviantart! They have real life nudity there, and dramaqueens to boot.
WARNING! This picture links to Hasbro's official site! You might not want to click on it! It might be dangerous!
OMG THIS LINK IS SOOO NSFW because it leads to the Hub homepage! OMFGWTFBBQ!~
Yeah I'm being silly now. Just as silly as it is to want a warning to FA for a page that is about as XXX rated as Equestria Daily.
If ya ask me, it's better to go in the other direction, and get rid of this whole 'omg it's furry it must be nsfw' nonsense. Post more artwork coming from FA just to prove there's nothing to fear there.
Of course unless you get an account and go looking for the adult stuff, yeah but then it's on your own head. As per usual, if you're looking for it you're gonna find it. But you actually have to go look for it.
That doesn't count as a warning. It's stupid to put a nsfw warning when you could just look at the link and it clearly says "sex" or "blowjob" or something like that. Why else do you think people fuck up and click "goatse.cx" links now and then?
As for the stigma... Believe it or not, furries kinda fit right into the bottom of the uncanny valley. You just need to understand that some people just...
GAH! It's YOU! Darkfoxx! Well, we meet in the exact same circumstances, don't we?! Hahaha. Remember me? It's great seein ya again!

Pinkie made me giggle :)
ReplyDeleteMine too, Seth.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I dislike that Kinky Turtle guy, that was pretty good.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations.

1) Too cute
ReplyDelete2) Makes sense. Don't think Pinkie will be able to make it though.
@Marvin Martian

Broken bone heal in days thanks to unicorn doctors.
ReplyDeleteA broken mind is for life. Thank you Celestia, you cruel troll.

*My visit to the emergency room*
ReplyDelete#1 My heart? Yeah doc, it's that red puddle you're standing in. What happened to it? Fluttershy in a cheerleader's outfit happened to it.
#2 Doc, you'd have a better chance at getting the sky to turn green than getting that pony to stop smashing the fourth wall.
@The Invincible I find the idea of a formal fashion model not having the hang of wearing clothes to be quite funny.
ReplyDelete@CityFlyer502
ReplyDeleteI concur on the outfit. There needs to be a follow-up of cheerleading Fluttershy fan-art.
Oh that Pinkie...anyway, for now on I am to be addressed as Kicks McGee. If there are any objections, I kindly refer you to my new name.
ReplyDelete@The Seventh Wonderbolt
ReplyDeleteOH YEAH!
Oh, gah, I just opened a furaffinity link at work!
ReplyDeleteBleh, I shouldn't be looking at pony stuff here anyway, but I can't seem to help myself.
Anyway, both of these are great comics! :D
Stop linking to furaffinity. It hurts our reputation, no matter how much you claim "HERP DE LOVE & TOLEDERP!"
ReplyDeleteApplejack, you've broken your leg.
ReplyDeleteShame, too...
*cocks gun*
Seth, my university has suddenly blocked Fur Affinity, not that I blame it for doing so.
ReplyDeletePlease cache Comic #2 on Blogger (or wherever appropriate) so I can view it.
#1: Flutteryay...!
ReplyDelete#2. That's our Pinkie!
#1 Heh heh, it's funny cause that was the same face Fluttershy made when she was woken up and realized she wasn't wearing any clothes and then in this comic she realized she forgot the top that goes with the skirt :D
ReplyDelete#2 Well played Pinkie, well played.
@Mike F
ReplyDeleteNot sure if true Brony,
or just 4chan poser...
#1 Awww, Fluttershy in a cheerleader's outfit. Too cute. I think Dash liked the second cheer for more than just the cheer itself, hooyah! lol
ReplyDelete#2 Lmao. That Pinkie panel. I knew that was coming though. xD
...so Dashie is Gary now?
ReplyDeletealso I knew something like 2 would be made; definitely saw it coming
2 superb comics!
ReplyDeleteFirst: Dash sprained her wing only.
ReplyDeleteSecond: Holy crap, something from FurAffinity that was good enough to be posted on EqD!
1. I can't believe that Fluttershy is a cheerleader.
ReplyDelete2. Doctor you can't stop Pinkie from breaking the 4th wall.
@DPV111
ReplyDeleteThere have been dozens of images or comics linked here from Fur Affinity. If I recall correctly, there's even been one or two from Ink Bunny.
I don't care where the image comes from, so long as clean. DeviantArt has lots of dirty crap it in, but no one makes a stink about dA.
Unfortunately, I can't see #2 right now because of DNS blocking on my university's network.
2: "Ms. Fluttershy, you've broken your ship--"
ReplyDelete"Spoilers, Doctor."

ReplyDeleteOh god, Fluttershy dressed as a cheerleader gave me instant diabeetus.
ReplyDeleteEpic comics.
ReplyDeleteLOL at those comics, but...
ReplyDelete....Didn't Dash just sprain her wing? It wasn't exactly in a cast, just tightly wrapped, so I don't think it was broken.
A hearty lol was had with number two. A very hearty lol indeed.
ReplyDelete@KTurtle

1. All kinds of adorable.
ReplyDeletewell, their doctor is a unicorn trained in magic healing for one thing
ReplyDeleteCrap. Snared in yet another FurAffinity link-trap.
ReplyDeleteAlmost worth it.
@Mo-Go
ReplyDeleteSo much drama over FA here.
Like DeviantArt is any better.

@Pyre-Vulpimorph
ReplyDeleteReally? I believe you but I've never seen one direct linked to FA before.
I know not all FA art is bad or dirty, I was just humoring the stereotype.
Well, as far as FA goes, I don't care where I get it from as long as it's a) well done and b) non-pornographic. Comic #2 fits both those criteria.
ReplyDeleteYep, every time it's from FA, somepony makes remarks. DA isn't really better though, so meh.
ReplyDeleteOH, and I should say, both were funny ^_^
ReplyDeleteSweet. Jesus. Christ. Please put a fur affinity warning.
ReplyDeleteFur affinity warning PLEASE!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was natural selection, ponies who couldn't heal broken bones fast enough were shot.
ReplyDeleteAlternatively put sfw. instead of www. ( sfw =safe for work) though telling folks its on FA would be good too.
