#1 - seriously, ppl need to get off Skrillex's dick already. And that Korn album was hilariously pathetic, even for Korn. BTW, that "Kyoto" song on his new EP isn't even brostep, its just really really really BAD hip-hop.
Meh, don't really like Skrillex, the only song I like from him was a remix of a track called What Is Light? Where Is Laughter? by Twin Atlantic who are a alternative rock band.
#1: This is me through half the EqD music posts! Fortunately there's enough classical, non-dubstep electronic, rock, rap, and "other" that I have about 1.5GB worth of it. That's over 14 hours of brony music with no dubstep, and I'm pretty selective about what I keep around. I don't particularly care for dubstep, but I can't say I'm suffering for it with all the other genres that get pony music.
The brony music phenomenon is one of the most amazing and fascinating aspects of the fandom for me. I don't know of any other fan base that is so musically inclined! Whether you're doing dubstep or not, I hope all the brony musicians keep doing what you love. I'll keep reaping the benefits!
#1 THE BASS, IS FINE! Heh heh, Fluttershy does not approve of your musical selection. Though I like the images of Fluttershy used, especially the third one. Look at her adorableness! LOOK AT IT!
#2 Amusing, but I belch like that too. Gasp, does that make ME Discord???

only 1.5 GB? I've got 8.1 GB. GET ON MY LEVEL. And yes, I agree with your second paragraph
There are gems in the dubstep genre. It's just that those gems don't compare to the gems of the other techno subgenres
I think that the reason for so much Dub-Step (besides the fact that it's easy and cheap to make) is because most Bronys are between the ages of 15-35 and in that age group, Dub-Step is very very popular. Everyone I know in that age range loves Dub-Step. Combine those two reasons together, and that's probably why I have trouble finding Brony tunes that aren't Dub-Step. Non-Dub-Step tunes exist, but they definitely seem few and far between.

ReplyDeleteIn fact, screw the fandom!
I think her expression means that she's listening to it at JUST the right volume. Never too much bass!

ReplyDeleteWe need more brony music done in a classic rock style. There's a little bit of it, but not nearly enough.
ReplyDelete#1 That looks like it was a shock, poor Fluttershy.
ReplyDelete#2 I'm not sure Discord is even allowed to be that adorable, is he?
D'awwing at discord, there's a first for everything.
Both comics were good.

I LOOOOVVEEEE the Baby Discord!!! XD I found it HILARIOUS!
ReplyDelete2nd one HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAH
ReplyDelete#1, Reason number 4 for why I'm hesitant to accept the label of "Brony". (I don't particularly like Skillrex or Heavy Metal for that matter.)
ReplyDelete#2, Didn't someone already write a fanfic with this concept?
I like every genre of music. Including dubstep.
ReplyDelete1. Dubstep is okay, but there's to much dubstep brony music. More symphonic!
ReplyDelete2. I want a baby discord!!!
@Celestia
ReplyDeleteI could not agree with you more, princess. Though Fluttershy still has the d'aww market under her hoof, in my opinion.
And, I'd like to remind the bronies complaining about the amount of dubstep of artists like BlackGryph0n, Mandopony, and But Not Tonight.
#1 I feel like Fluttershy does. Hehe.
