VastaKustutaI still don't believe there was a fiasco at all. Derpy is back to being called "Derpy" on Welovefine after only about two days of "Ditzy". Since Welovefine licenses names and characters from Hasbro, that seems to indicate that Hasbro will continue using the name Derpy.
While I'm not big on the toys, I understand and appreciate the massive importance of having more show accurate toys, this suggests that Hasbro is giving more attention and appreciation to the show which is a good thing

Can't survive long living off penguins in Alaska. Even if you knew how to prepare their meat, you'd have to break into zoos and steal their penguins, as penguins aren't native to the northern hemisphere, they are mainly found near the Antarctic.

To assume that Zecora is such is pretty racist, especially since Zecora is portrayed as an eccentric, mysterious alchemist who always speaks in rhyme, and is far from being an "evil enchantress".
