William Anderson is amazing.
ReplyDeleteSo much background music this episode! Mr, Anderson must have worked his flank off!
ReplyDeletePinkie has a distinctive type of music that follows her everywhere. It's just so upbeat.
ReplyDeleteOne day Pinkie is totally going to interrupt the background music and ask to change it to something else, I bet.
@pegasus rescue brigade, would be funny if she then asks for an orchestra version
ReplyDeleteSmile's good even without the main vocals.
ReplyDeleteThat backing pinkie in Smile! is excellent. I had no idea it was there.
ReplyDeleteHmm. Still need dat Smile acapella.
ReplyDelete"Even if Yella, makes it acapella..."
Infinitydash, if you're reading this:
ReplyDelete"Pinkie's Welcome Song" is actually missing the trumpet sound when Pinkie Pie plays it through the donkey's ears, and the drum beat. Can you please fix that and reupload the song with those included? It won't be the same without those two critical musical instruments that Pinkie Pie played.
Pinkie, Pinkie everywhere.
ReplyDeletewhy are all of pinkie pie's songs so good?
ReplyDeleteIs it legal to marry a soundtrack? I really need to step up my relationship with this music in some way and I'm out of chocolate and roses.
ReplyDeleteThis show has better music than a Broadway musical.
ReplyDelete@Ryan
ReplyDeleteThose may be part of the center audio channel. If so, the drum would be difficult or impossible to isolate from Pinkie's vocals. The trumpet might be doable since she's not singing over it.
@Pegasus Rescue Brigade
ReplyDeleteThat would be SO like her. I can just see it happening. :)
Pinkie's backing vocals in Smile sound so good, I wish that's how it would have sounded in the actual episode.
ReplyDeleteSmile = best MLP Song ever!
ReplyDeleteSmile is best song 5eva!
ReplyDelete(das mo den 4eva)
@Ryan: The trumpet and bass drum were in the center audio channel only because they were being played by Pinkie. The rear surrounds held the rest of the music.
ReplyDeleteBasically, Center = Everything that's really heard and can be heard by the characters.
Surrounds = stuff the characters can't hear, and isn't really happening. (With some exceptions, like Pinkie's cart making the music.)
Also, this is my third time being featured on the site! Yay!
