I have to admit, this one goes a bit overkill on the filters, but for being a whopping six minutes long and keeping momentum the entire time, with enough fully custom scenes to constitute one of those one and a half minute PMV's that usually make it into this category, I think it deserves a spot on the list!
(That was the longest sentence ever)
Have some LOYALTY after the break!

ReplyDeleteIt's okay if your sentences are run-on Seth, we still love you. And I love this PMV!
ReplyDeleteGood PMV and an even greater song by Mando and Acoustic.
ReplyDeleteI've made longer sentences, and they were grammatically correct...
ReplyDeleteI was just humming this song in my head!
ReplyDeleteAnd again Seth your taste for "awesome" PMVs never ceases to disappoint, that was bad (song was good, other than that it was hard to watch)
ReplyDeletelongest sentence ever? Hah, you clearly haven't read George MacDonald, he makes sentences last half a page.
ReplyDeleteWait why was that part added?"Adding to favorites"
ReplyDeleteOkay I need to check done things now
Actually pretty good.
ReplyDelete4/5 overall
@Shadow Heart
ReplyDeleteI'd give it a standing ovation, but five stars will do
Just got done watching the hearts and hooves episode its very good
ReplyDeleteFavorited.
ReplyDeleteSO. FUCKING. HARD.
Yea love this song!
ReplyDeleteAlso, on an unrelated note: I just saw all of hearts and hooves day. The actual episode. Eeyup.
AMAZING
ReplyDeleteReally great song. The PMV was alright. I'm not a fan of some of the effects they used in it. Overall I liked it.
ReplyDeleteIt will be on mic the micthemicrophonezero livestream late tonight all night
ReplyDeleteSeth, learn what a semi-colon is for. Thanks :D

Holy song!
ReplyDeleteQuetzal Dash is the only PMV maker I actually subscribe to. He's pretty darn good at the stuff he does.
ReplyDeletegreat song
ReplyDeletebut why so long to get on EqD?
Hearts and hooves day is on iTunes right now
ReplyDeletei have had a very rugh wek, and Rainbow Dsh has made my weeek very much more tolerable. by al mease rainbow dash ... you keep on as you are. you give me strength.
ReplyDeleteSuch a good PMV to this song.
ReplyDeleteOh, and guys, this song WAS posted here awhile ago... :/
ReplyDeleteGuys! SSSSSHHHHHHH about H&HD!
ReplyDeleteOh, it's hopeless...
Woah, what happened? 3 stars?
ReplyDelete@Firemanepardon my typos. it has been a rough week indeed.
ReplyDeleteOh my godding fuck, this is lolzijustfavoritedthislolamazing!
ReplyDeleteit's ok... needs to be about 20% cooler
ReplyDeleteThat drum solo alone kicked pony. Video matched it in awesomeness. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteboss, awesome and in the words of loyalty herself superduperultrawesomeazing. if you understood that you are truly a brony :p.
ReplyDeletebt the awesomnsomeness of rainbow dash herself. i declare this an awesome rainbowboom ....
ReplyDeleteFav'd and long overdue download!
ReplyDeleteI don't think we're gonna hear from EqD about the episode leak. I get the feeling the Seth and the gang wont want to touch that topic after the Pinkie song fiasco.
ReplyDelete@Firemane
ReplyDeleteoh gawd. what a week. prdon me. i think things are getting a bit out of hoof.
I have nothing against Quetzeldash, I am just confounded as to why I do not enjoy his PMVs. They are incredibly well edited and by all means should meet my standards. The problem is when I watch them, I just feel bored and have no idea why that is.
ReplyDeleteLike the song but I felt 6 minutes was too long, I started getting kinda bored at the 4:30 mark.
ReplyDeleteawesome sause.
ReplyDeleteWow this is very amazing
ReplyDeleteYou know, it seemed more like he was trying to get the perfect video bits to sync the lips best. Really, he should have used clips that best fit the lyrics. Granted, that would probably be very hard to do considering there are only so many episodes where Dash is the focus or even has some truly loyal moments that would fit the lyrics. But that's my whole reasoning. The effects were nice and the lip syncing was great when it was done great and the song was awesome as it usually is but when the music video doesn't convey the meaning of the song or at least show a similar theme that is unrelated to the song's intention (like the lyrics could easily be turned into a love song and you could show a relationship with the man always staying by the woman's side as an example) I just can't get impressed.
ReplyDeleteUgh, WAY too many effects on the clips. Maybe I'm old school, but I enjoy videos where you can actually see what's going on...
ReplyDeleteGreat melody, pretty good vocals, good lyrics, interesting effects, though I agree, the total amount of effects was over the top, decent syncing. I think you'll make February's top 10 list. I'm going to go write this down so I can remember it come March 1st to nominate it.
ReplyDeleteSong: 5/5 Mando and Acoustic are amazing artists
ReplyDeleteVideo:3/5 Quetzal went a bit over the top with the effects, though the length was impressive, seeing as he managed to keep up the momentum fairly well.
Overall: 4/5
This really is awesome PMV with awesome song fitting to it.
ReplyDeleteclip collection was almost perfect and lip sync was good enough.
Overkill in general, but still nice animation... Good effort on your part. 4/5
ReplyDeleteFavorited in 10 seconds flat after watching
ReplyDeleteAmazing. But really, those captions!?
ReplyDeleteI guess I'm just not a Rainbow Dash fan because it really didn't pop that much for me. This was a case where the song used was better than the video it was in. The song is amazing, but the PMV is just good; not great.
ReplyDeleteI have never been prouder to know this guy in real life. Kudos to you brother.
ReplyDeleteLongest sentence ever? Not even close :P. Try translating some Latin; pretty much every single sentence is longer than that.
ReplyDeleteAlso, that PMV has way to many random filters.
A truly awesome PMV. Adding this to my favourites. Thanks Seth. ^^
ReplyDeleteThat...was...20% cooler than any of the other PMVs I've ever seen of this song.
ReplyDeleteVery well done!
Bravo!
YESYESYES SO MUCH YES
ReplyDeleteThat probably took a lot of video editing.
ReplyDeleteI find it simply amazing.
This video contains ninety percent of the swag on the internet.
ReplyDeleteDamn, that was amazing. I can't even begin to imagine how much time was put into this. I normally don't like Brony-made music, but I will admit it's mostly because its mostly techno/electronic/dubstep, and I'm a rock guy. This music was great. It's actually something I would listen to, and really similar to the stuff I do listen to. Also, the editing was fantastic. Great effects, lypsyncing, and filters. Amazing video for a great song. It doesn't hurt that it was made about my favorite character, but I would probably enjoy PMV's like this for the rest of the mane 6 almost as much. You can be sure that I'm going to watch this video many more times. I love it.
ReplyDeleteToday, I have had the great pleasure of meeting the gentleman behind this PMV. He's a great guy. He likes indie/progressive rock. WOOOO
ReplyDeleteThat was stunning, really a nice job! Sometimes a little overfiltered, but great work overall :D
ReplyDelete@Sirrus Also, there are way longer sentences:
ReplyDelete469,375 words - Nigel Tomm's one-sentence novel, "The Blah Story"
Got this from wikipedia, but it is not made up. Checked the sources.
