I don't think I have ever received so many emails about something before. Literally 70 between my two addresses. You guys really like this series don't you?
I feel even more terrible with my generation now more than ever. At least a few of them had some sense of very, very mild respect. I do wish they did show them more than just the intro. Maybe Flutterfu or Tactical Rainnuke?
That was actually pretty awesome! They gave very good answers for only watching the opening theme. Oh, but my respect for those girls -1 because I have a girlfriend who is not a brony, but accepts me 100% for it. =)
I bet Devin is a full-on brony, but just doesn't show it, like all of my teenage brony friends, myself included. This just reinforces our fear of opening up...
At the start I didn't like it, but it didn't take me too long to get into it. How many of you bet that all but two or three guys will end up becoming bronies after this episode? They will be checking the show online, for sure.
I don't see it negatively, this was pretty harmless. It's definitely better than what the RedEye guys did.
I think there should be a counterbalancing interview on how adults react to Twilight. I mean, sparkly vampires? Hunky werewolves? I bet there'd be similar "get a boyfriend" comments at the very least. ;)
They should've showed more from the show. I can understand some of the reacions if only the intro was shown to them. Rest are just narrow-minded haters.
Yeah, they didn't apparently do a good job of really introducing the show to them. They did an even worse job of showing them the community that has grown up around it.
It's not surprising that a lot of them answered the way they did, between the lack of detail about the show, and the fact that they're teens and teens are very self-conscious about how people see them... there may have been one or two bronies in there who completely refused to say anything positive because they were worried about how they'd look...
Also, they're too young to realize the irony in saying that something isn't manly or that you can't be a man and like it, when it actually takes a lot of guts for a man to like something so "girly".
Yeah some of the guys were to judgemental.Kinda sounded like their ideas of the show came from past generations of the show and they really were not in the know about the current iteration of the show with a few exceptions. I kinda wished they showed off some of the fan music, art and fan videos. Of course I am going to Love and Tolerate their decision.
The only reason they do not like it, is because they have not seen enough of it. I had to watch the first two episodes before I truly became involved with it. They only watch two minutes.
@Vinyl_Regret I agree with everything they said because they only had the chance to watch the intro. I mean, the name of the show isn't really a selling point to guys like them. I reacted the same when I first watched the intro, but then after watching the EPISODE then everything played out perfectly. This sadly made the Teens React cast dislike the show even before actually attempting to watch it.
Welp, now we have to make a Bronies react to Teens react to MLP FiM. Then we need to get them to react to us reacting to them about them reacting to FiM. I mean that as a serious suggestion, that would be awesome, and they'd get more info about the fandom, not just the intro and one pic.
well, i see more episodes of that webshow, and all they do is make fun of things with kids and clips of things (selected to suck sometimes) so, well played video, well played
The only good thing to come out of this situation, is that absolutely no one takes guys like this seriously. I'm honestly not putting too much stock in this at all. Pointless video is pointless.
Most of the reactions are pretty bad (especially the boys), but Jourdan is by far the worst. He straight up accuses bronies of being homosexuals that need to get a life. I'm okay with people hating it, but not people directly attacking those watching it. Not only that, but he's 17. He should know better.
Isaac is a chill guy; he doesn't necessarily like the show, but he's not dead-set against it. Model citizen, right thar.
Sigh are they really serious? They make online videos and they've never heard of MLP? That's the part I have trouble swallowing. Oh well *braces for the storm*
wow, that was awesome, i say that in total sarcasm, they made us look a lot weirder than we are and one guy even thought we were trolls. plus, they only showed the theme song, i'd of thought the same thing if i only saw the theme song. my day was made -_-
Teenagers will be teenagers haha I found the video mostly entertaining, although a biiit irksome at some points. But mostly because I know people like that and it's sad to see that a mostly intolerant attitude is what's considered "normal". Props to the tall black guy, I loved how he was all like "Well I'm not gonna hate on bronies". If you dislike it, even if it's at first sight without giving it a real try, at least you don't go saying "it's a disgrace for men" and ignorant stuff like that hehe
Checking the comments here, I just come accross a very glaring question that's looking at me with half closed, angry eyes.
"Where did they find these people?" These are certainly people who don't spend enough time online. Pretty much every person who connects on the internet enough hours a day knows about the series. Is it possible there's people out there who don't know what MLP is and the phenomena behind it? It's like not knowing what Star Wars is!
Also, despite how much I feel this was phoned in, it was still a good laugh. I can't believe I used to be like this, and looking at these guys react reminds me of the time when I was a teenager. Good Luna, I'm so happy I'm not one anymore.
@Dwarfyz I don't really spam it myself, i very rarely say it :P, but the video kind of got annoying, and don't jump to that and miss my point of that kid being ignorant and completely clueless on the subject >_>
i dont like most of these kids. i am dissapoint in them.but ill love and tolerate them, (even though it hurts me to). nuff said. now if you excuse me, im gonna giggle at the ghostie for awhile, then head over to sugercube corner for a few cupcakes with pinkie pie, while we play a few pranks on ponyville. MLP FIM 4 LIFE!!!! brohoof /)*(\
Wow ... I just tried to comment on youtube directly but they have to approve the comment first ... censorship is fun, ain't it ?
Anyway, I didn't like this video, it's so sad to see how close-minded these teenagers are, except for that one guy who instantly wants to give it a try. And that's all I'm asking really.
That one dude who insisted that we're trolls was ridiculous, he never heard of the show or community before but instantly agreed that we're cancer ? That's almost bigotry.
To that blond girl: yeah, I would never want a girlfriend as prejudiced and judgemental as you.
And wrong information on ponibooru, it sounded like ALL images there are these macro-style ones when in fact we have some serious talent in our fandom.
But telling someone about liking this show is a good test of character I guess.
and wtf has having a girlfriend to do with what you enjoy ? I never known a single person who dropped something s/he enjoyed just because they got or loose a boy/girlfriend.
Tsk ... seriously ... of course everyone can have their opinions and I fully respect that, but at least be fair and open-minded.
the trolls are actually thefinebros only showed the theme song and hardly giving the whole series a chance. This whole video makes us look like weird schizophrenic people sheesh.
Teens are so dumb. "Oh what will my friends think OMG?!" they don't make good decisions because they're thinking is based on a corrupted social hierarchy.
I think they were trolling by only showing them the intro. :P You can't become a brony just by watching the intro....well except for that one kid. Lol. They should have at least made them watch the pilot.
@James Corck No it isn't. A good chunk of people I know don't know what Star Wars is. They'll recognize Yoda, but the series is unknown to them. It blows me away every time.
@Dionysus "That one dude who insisted that we're trolls was ridiculous, he never heard of the show or community before but instantly agreed that we're cancer ?"
I was EXACTLY the same before watching the show. I stopped hating bronies only after concluding that we're trolls.
You have to watch the show to come up with a proper judgement but before they do, their opinion will simply be whatever is most socially acceptable. So, I don't blame them really.
i laughed pretty hard throughout that whole thing actually.
THESE kids are the people that cause all that butthurt for others, when you see comments like "LOL U LIEK MLP? YOU A FAG!!!" you will see that they are just these teenagers.
don't fret my fellow bronies, if anything it just sheds light on why you should keep on keepin on, because you see the face of the people who don't like you. and they are just kids XP
I'd expect nothing more from a YouTube partner (or at least, a channel whose videos are featured all the time).
*Judgmental moment over*
Teens are really not the best authority on something like our show. I initially kept away from this show until I caught a glimpse of it through internet memes and funny videos on YouTube. Youtube videos are how I discovered a lot of my current favorite shows (mostly anime). Long story short, I watched the first few episodes and enjoyed them, but Bridal Gossip is where I got hooked. These kids needed to see actual episode footage, because the theme song really is the girliest part of the show.
That blonde chick who wants a guy who is 'tough' is a jerk. I hope she likes some guy and they have the best relationship she's ever had and then she finds out he likes ponies just to get in her face. I liked the teens that didn't care about males liking MLP: FiM, that's good character right there; the others, though, dear Luna they need to love and tolerate. They could learn something from the show.
Well, they are, in the end, teenagers, and teenagers are all insecure about what others will think of them. If they asked a 15yo me if I was interested in the childish show, I'd have responded the same. But at 22yo I am not afraid to be honest with myself and subversive to the cultural norms around me.
@zerila Yep. This. Of course, to be fair, Teens and Kids React usually does memes, and memes are only like a couple minutes other than a whole 22, so maybe it was a time limit? Still, they could have done a the theme song and a clip of the show at least.
Besides, to be fair most of us Bronies here on EQD didn't like the show at first either, and if all WE had seen was just the theme song, how many of us would be reacting the same way? It's the normal reaction to FiM before the show gets to prove how good it is.
Also, girl in the tan and plain trilby? That girl is awesome. Rock on, madam.
I say give it time. in 3-5 years, once they get to college, I daresay most of them will be bronies themselves. The power of this show to convert people rivals that of Christianity, and in a much more positive and less controversial way.
Well, except when we get into best pony descriptions. Then it's every bit as controversial as the republican primaries. :D
I'm actually not surprised... the first time I watched the intro... hmm. Well, I basically puked my balls out, but after "enduring" the childish cliches in the plotline, I warmed up to the show. And we all know that the intro isn't the best way to explain MLP. Whoever directed this show should've gotten some actual bronies to explain this stuff. It's not like all we do is troll, or make captions, or watch the show. If those kids knew the talent some of us had, and the commitment we've made to the show... things would be different.
This was a totally loaded segment meant to elicit a reaction. They only showed them the intro and a few image macros. I'd say they probably, at max, did about 15 minutes of research for this, anything you can just grab off of the front page of Google or Google Images.
There was absolutely nothing positive about those questions, nor meant to be endearing. I especially cringed when they asked the dating question. What do you THINK they're going to say after building them up like that?
This is absolutely shameful, exploitative work, doubly so for a web-based series. I'd expect this sort of schlock from a TV network. Developers of a webseries have no excuse.
The rating of this post doesn't match the amount of likes of the video on YouTube. However, I never take EqD's posts ratings into account, unless we talk about Fanfics.
I just watched this on youtube and ran over here to see if it was on EQD... Sure enough, it was. To all the haters in this video... I will love and tolerate the HELL out of all of you. And they only assume it's bad just from watching the intro. That's ridiculous. At least there were 2 who liked it and 1 who at least accepted it.
That was pretty entertaining - Devin became a brony in 10 seconds flat =O A shame they didn't show anything other than the intro, too much exposure there, show them lesson zero... Also I have a horrible feeling there may be a sudden surge of haters coming our way, but they're gonna be loved and tolerated the shit out of =p
Really, long time before I joined, I thought that bronies were trolls, too. But I gave it a shot after watching Equestria Girls for the twentieth time xD
Okay. Um. They didn't even watch the show. Just the opening...and all of their opinions were cool except those few guys and girls. I don't give a crap about being "a real man" if I have to throw my intrests away. So sorry.
Reminds me of my friends... Never seen the show and said it has to be a show for little girls. Showed them one or 2 whole episodes now they watch them with me every saturday or sunday. :) I tolerate people who don't like MLP after watching at least one episode but i think its stupid to say it's bad if u haven't seen it.
Why did they only show them the intro? they should show them one of the hundreds of fan made videos or one of the better episodes like dragonshy or lesson zero
They're teenagers. We're not exactly know for having large amounts of tolerance for those who are even slightly different to the norm (which is how the word "gay" somehow turned into an insult).
Don't take this seriously, don't take their opinions as being serious nor finebro's efforts seriously.
It was made to entertain and this time we're the centre of the joke... Nothing to be mad about.
I honestly hate most teenagers. Even though I'm 16, it's just most of them are douches. The guy with the backwards hat made me want to punch him in the face (or more realistically go all fluttershy type rant on him.) But they are young and insecure. So I'll cut them some slack. The girls are ridiculous too. You wouldn't date a guy for being a brony? To be honest I find that to be a good/attractive trait. Even if I hated mlp. I love people/guys with fun/funny quirks. It makes them interesting, not ,as Nicole Oliver said, "the boring old shade of beige." How ever some kids were cool. Especially the flamboyant one, and the one who didn't like them show but wasn't an ass about it. As much as I despised them in this video, given they grew up knowing the g3,g2,g1 versions and only saw the theme song... can you blame them? Show them some good clips of the show, then see how they react.
I gotta say they shouldn't have used the intro. When I told my brother I was finally going to see what the fuss was about, and we saw the intro, we were like... "Ummmm.... I don't know about this..." But then after watching a few episodes we were hooked, haha
*facehoof* you don't show the "worst" to people giving it a try ... I can personal say as a 15 that I was almost about to stop waching the show because of the intro (now the intro sounds like sweet honey in my ears) ....sigh...love and tolerate lag-y love and tolerate...
especially so for me... I literally just turned 14 like 2 weeks ago. I almost feel like I've gone through an accelerated aging process; just seeing so many ignorant people who judge something straight off makes me feel like I'm 30. It's people like the ones in this video that simply make my blood boil. I can control my emotions; I can make decisions apart from a self-conscious social hierarchy; I can judge without bias, if I do judge at all. Why is it that these teens, which are most likely older than I, cannot do any of those things?
This was hardly surprising, nor providing us with any new information. That these attitudes exists are well known, I've encountered them all my life for not living up to a male gender stereotype.
The question is, why should I care about the opinions of a bunch of closed-minded teenagers who will have no impact on my life whatsoever?
@Vinyl_Regret That's exactly what I thought. The intro is not enough material, they really should have used some awesome scenes. I personally thought this was a brony bashing teens react
Come on, guys. What could you expect? They have neither the time nor the resources to show them an entire episode. And you could already tell the implications of this; the people who wanted to watch or didn't care would watch it, while the people who are like "no" would up and leave.
Calm the hell down. The more you rave and rant, the more pretentious the brony community looks.
And stop caring about the opinions of poor-mannered, hormonal teenagers, considering that they've never heard of the brony community before. It's an odd thing that comes as a shock to them; as to be expected with the more "macho" guys on the show.
And don't get all "omg teens react hates bronies" on everyone else. This ain't no Glenn Beck conspiracy theory hour. You asked for MLP, they showed MLP. GET OVER IT.
Well, I can of course tolerate people not liking the show. I can also tolerate people not even giving it a chance. However from some of their reactions it seems they are pretty closeminded and downright -scared- of not fitting into their "designated" clichee role of a 21rst century teenager. ...then again....21rst century teenager...what to expect? I guess I might have been like that before, as well, but I'm glad to have moved far beyond that point by now. Like somepony said before, give em time.
This was wonderful. It made me laugh so hard, that said, I wouldn't want to date someone who would dismiss me simply because of my hobbies, but I also would never turn down a night out in preference of a hobby.
And it's super easy to show off the fan devotion, just show them clips of Dj Alex S work, short scenes of fan made videos and what not. The channel purposely tries to dangle as little info about what they want to show off to get hate from teens.
Some of us are upset because this is the reason why the show gets so much hate due to prejudice. They had the opportunity, but they prefer their wallet over actually caring about what community they want to introduce.
Um... I don't even know what to say... that was possibly the stupidest thing I've seen in quite awhile... I hate children... I really do... (I'm 15, and this is an insult to my age group)
For those feeling doubts after watching this: I wouldn't worry too much. They're "typical" teenagers. By this, I mean that they're a little close minded, and pretty desperate to appear "mature" and "adult," or maybe "cool," in order to fit in with their peers, who are trying to do the exact same thing. We've all been there, at one point or another. Given a little time, half of them will probably realize that there is a time and a place for maturity, but you don't need to keep the stick in there all the time. They may not become Bronies, or even tolerant of this...subculture? Subculture. But hopefully they'll grow out of the idea that a target audience excludes everyone outside that audience.
In the meantime, your life is your own. If somebody doesn't like that, both you and they will need to come to terms with that.
In other, only somewhat related thoughts, this is actually a thing? They have teens(this batch, or otherwise) citing their initial reactions to...stuff? Why is this necessary?
I find this rather sad, but that is how people are, they Judge based off of bare-bone information.
I'm guessing based on the info given to the teens, the producers of this, are probably neigh sayers, otherwise they would have shown more credible info.
Kind of what I expected. Glad I'm not a teenager. Everyone I know doesn't care what I'm into, and by now my parents are perfectly aware their daughter is weird. So much so that our summer vacation to NYC was planned so I can stop in to BroNYcon.
And you bet your flanks I'm asking for a pony cake for my 24th birthday next month.
I actually stopped watching that series because the tone of the show has taken a turn for the judgmental a good long time ago. It's not about the thing anymore and more about the fans and how stupid they are. At least the kids' version of this crap the kids are innocent, but these guys are just terrible people.
To be fair, when I was 14, I probably would have thought that Bronies were some sort of 'disease' or that they 'wouldn't deserve to call themselves men' and that 'men should be tough.' Pretty sure most of my high school class felt that way. It was only when I got to college that I realized that I was being a total tool and needed to straighten up and fly right.
Let's face it. Everybody is an idiot at that age. Although I have to say, I kinda expected better from the girls. I always thought that girls were supposed to mature faster than boys.
Good on that one girl with the hat, though. She seems to be pretty decent.
So according to this, if I continue to watch MLP:FIM I will be forever alone...Oh wait, I forgot they're asking teenage girls who are still into "manly men" and "bad boys". Well, maybe after their first black eye they might consider dating someone who's open to watching wholesome television. :)
Sigh. That show gave a bad impression of bronies to their audience. We can only hope that some of them will be open minded enough to check it out for themselves and see the awesomeness beyond what they were shown.
Well...the fact that I myself am a teenager does not seem to make me any less disappointed in closed minded many of today's teenagers are...although Devin and the girl in the hat seemed cool...
Sigh. That show gave a bad impression of bronies to their audience. We can only hope that some of them will be open minded enough to check it out for themselves and see the awesomeness beyond what they were shown.
A lot more negative than I thought it would be. Most episodes of both Kids and Teens react aren't as judgmental. Very disappointed. But I don't need approval of people I don't even know, so whatevs.
Obviously the show isn't going to be seen well by someone that never heard of it, quite a lot of fans didn't like it at first, but it grew on them. Teenagers are especially known for their black-and-white thinking and vulnerability to peer pressure ('I can't like it! People will laugh at me in school!'), so they're even more prone to dismiss it instantly.
Still, could they have done it better? I don't think so, short of tying them up to a chair and forcing them to watch an entire episode in the hopes they find their own reason to like the show within these 20 minutes, but that's just unlikely (and possibly illegal).
I certainly don't blame them for advertising the series, that's for sure.
We should just let this go. They are different people, with different opinions, and live in today's society-- what did you expect from this? If we are their betters, we should not care about them. We shouldn't rage about it. As bronies, we show our superior character by being mature and keeping our composure in situations like these. Even if you think that they are stupid, ignorant, or intolerant, does it really matter to you?
I'm 18, but am I still considered a teenager? Either way I'm not surprised in the close minded responses, but at the same time I can see where they're coming from.
I think Devin was the coolest one. Issac wasn't too bad, saying that he doesn't like it but doesn't hate the show or fanbase. I respect him for that. And the girl with the hat was pretty cool too.
Everyone else... just wow. Especially backwards hat and red hoodie. Opinions are opinions, so I'll leave it at that.
That being said it's kinda hard to get the gist of the show or fanbase without actually seeing a full episode. I remember I felt terrible about myself the first time I watched the intro and contemplated why I decided to watch this. I know they probably wouldn't take the time to pick Lesson Zero or anything, but the pilot isn't the best way to start. And the intro doesn't give you much to go on.
But then I realize this is Teens React. I feel really old for saying this, but teens aren't exactly the best judge of character.
Overall, like Lauren Faust, Jayson Thiessen and one of the VAs from BroNYcon said (I think Nicole Oliver) we shouldn't have to justify why we like the show. If people don't like it, then it's their loss. No skin off our bones.
Expected this just from the title, but still it was nice to see that it wasn't just complete pure hatred. Plus the whole"Only trolls make images with captions and this is a complete troll move" made my day.

VastaKustutaFirst
VastaKustutaI have an urge to punch most of these kids...
VastaKustutaI didn't like it. They didn't show any good material from the community.
VastaKustutaI liked the guy who thought we were all trolls.
VastaKustutaMost of them irritatingly jumped straight to hating it based on just the intro, which is a shame. Devin is totally a brony though.
VastaKustutaI used to be judgmental like them.
VastaKustutaI feel even more terrible with my generation now more than ever. At least a few of them had some sense of very, very mild respect. I do wish they did show them more than just the intro. Maybe Flutterfu or Tactical Rainnuke?
VastaKustutaWe do.
VastaKustutaI do NOT however, like the negativity of the people in the video.
That guy doesn't know the definition of a troll, and pretty much everyone else is unsafe about their manhood.
And the guy didn't even show anything from the show, just the theme song.
Wait...they only showed the intro? Wat.
VastaKustutaThey only showed the intro. :(
VastaKustutaThey should of shown the episode instead.
VastaKustuta>person in the red sweatshirt
VastaKustuta>I hate everything
I don't like Adam or Ethan or Kostas their too judgmental Jourdans just a big doucher
VastaKustutaThat was actually pretty awesome! They gave very good answers for only watching the opening theme. Oh, but my respect for those girls -1 because I have a girlfriend who is not a brony, but accepts me 100% for it. =)
VastaKustutaI say we go to those guys' house and make them watch more than the S1 opening.
VastaKustutaI bet Devin is a full-on brony, but just doesn't show it, like all of my teenage brony friends, myself included. This just reinforces our fear of opening up...
VastaKustutawell, haters gonna hate, while we just keep on with our awesomeness
VastaKustutaOw... my pride... T-T
VastaKustuta>Teens react to MLP
VastaKustutaOMG YES!
>They only react to the intro
WHAT
>They ask about the whole Brony phenomenon judging just by the intro
...Who the fuck directed this?
This proves it. Pretty people can be pretty stupid too. Specially on that show.
VastaKustutaThe asian kid with the frosted forelock is totally trying WAY too hard to be a Dudebro. So's the nitwit with the backwards hat.
VastaKustutaMy fragile, fragile pride...
VastaKustutaoh god that white kid with the backwards hat is so god damned annoying
VastaKustutaUnfortunately haters gona hate. At least there was one guy who seemed interested.
VastaKustutaDon't worry guys, I don't think you are trolls. But if you were, I would love and tolerate you just the same.
VastaKustutadon't worry when they try and face us all at once (ponychan, Equestria Daily etc.) they will be crushed by our love and tolerance.
VastaKustuta@Everyone I agree, they should've been shown more than the intro, at least the first two episodes.
VastaKustutaThat was cute.
VastaKustutaAt the start I didn't like it, but it didn't take me too long to get into it.
I bet there'd be similar "get a boyfriend" comments at the very least. ;)
VastaKustutaI loved it, but they should have shown them an entire episode, instead of just the theme song.
VastaKustutaThey should've showed more from the show.
VastaKustutaI can understand some of the reacions if only the intro was shown to them.
Rest are just narrow-minded haters.
Give them time.
VastaKustutaNice display of stereotypes.
VastaKustutaYeah, they didn't apparently do a good job of really introducing the show to them. They did an even worse job of showing them the community that has grown up around it.
VastaKustutaIt's not surprising that a lot of them answered the way they did, between the lack of detail about the show, and the fact that they're teens and teens are very self-conscious about how people see them... there may have been one or two bronies in there who completely refused to say anything positive because they were worried about how they'd look...
Also, they're too young to realize the irony in saying that something isn't manly or that you can't be a man and like it, when it actually takes a lot of guts for a man to like something so "girly".
So, don't take it too seriously, guys :)
This was pitiful.
VastaKustutafail Fine Bros.
VastaKustuta"You should not be watching that. You're a guy".
VastaKustutaGuess we shouldn't expect more from random teenagers...
> "Get and life and do something cooler"
VastaKustuta> Wears his cap backwards in 2012
Yeah, I've seen enough.
Get a life?
VastaKustutaI have a life.
It's called:
MY LITTLE PONY.
I hate the black kid "better macaronies than bronies" and" Better watch wipeout"
VastaKustutaFacepalm´**
Watch 3 or 4 episodes, please
VastaKustutaSpongebob look silly too
Hell, The simpsons look like a kids cartoon in the intro
don't judge a book by his cover, if they had seen the "Bridle Gossip" episode, they have learned that
Some like some dont. deal with it.
VastaKustuta(my opinion)
That video, while entertaining, made me realize that I'm grateful to no longer be a teenager.
VastaKustutaThe only reason they do not like it, is because they have not seen enough of it. I had to watch the first two episodes before I truly became involved with it. They only watch two minutes.
VastaKustuta@Vinyl_Regret I agree with everything they said because they only had the chance to watch the intro. I mean, the name of the show isn't really a selling point to guys like them. I reacted the same when I first watched the intro, but then after watching the EPISODE then everything played out perfectly. This sadly made the Teens React cast dislike the show even before actually attempting to watch it.
VastaKustutaWelp, now we have to make a Bronies react to Teens react to MLP FiM. Then we need to get them to react to us reacting to them about them reacting to FiM. I mean that as a serious suggestion, that would be awesome, and they'd get more info about the fandom, not just the intro and one pic.
VastaKustuta@brony and proud of it
VastaKustutaSome like the show.
Some simply don't like the show.
Some haven't even watched the show and complain everywhere about it.
Obviously they need MORE PONY than just the intro.
VastaKustutawaste of time
VastaKustutaThe chinese kid told us to grow up man I hate those stupid teens.
VastaKustutaI'm 16. I watch My Little Pony. If you can't handle that, what does it say about YOU?
VastaKustutathey only showed the intro
VastaKustutathey should've showed the full episode or the equestria girl video
but yes Bronies are awesome
Autor on selle kommentaari eemaldanud.
VastaKustutai found that video annoying
VastaKustutateens react to my hoof in their face
VastaKustutawell, i see more episodes of that webshow, and all they do is make fun of things with kids and clips of things (selected to suck sometimes) so, well played video, well played
VastaKustutaMan, they could've at least shown them an actual episode... the intro isn't exactly the best thing to show to explain why we like the show.
VastaKustutaThe only good thing to come out of this situation, is that absolutely no one takes guys like this seriously. I'm honestly not putting too much stock in this at all. Pointless video is pointless.
VastaKustuta@DashAttack
VastaKustutaI agree, im glad im not a teenager anymore
I'm gonna love and tolerate the SHIT out of that kid 6:00, seriously though he has no idea what he is talking about and tends to be rather ignorant :/
VastaKustuta2 out of 12 liked it (not counting the troll), that's a sixth of a randomly chosen group. That's actually more then I would have expected.
VastaKustutaLol at the one thinking we all are trolls, they haven't done a good job of intoducing the show, or the community now did they?
VastaKustutaI am dissapoint that they weren't even aware of our existence. They have failed as teenagers.
VastaKustutaI like how half of them are normal and the other half are haters.
I've never seen a more closed-minded group of teens in my life...
VastaKustutaMost of the reactions are pretty bad (especially the boys), but Jourdan is by far the worst. He straight up accuses bronies of being homosexuals that need to get a life. I'm okay with people hating it, but not people directly attacking those watching it. Not only that, but he's 17. He should know better.
VastaKustutaIsaac is a chill guy; he doesn't necessarily like the show, but he's not dead-set against it. Model citizen, right thar.
I love the flamboyant kid. And the kid with the emo haircut telling us what's cool is pretty amusing from an adult's perspective.
VastaKustuta@Techno Chicken
VastaKustutai wish bronies could stop spamming "love and tolerate".
I just wanna punch most of them...but love and tolerate.
VastaKustutaScreamed NO when I saw this, always hated their react videos because they have no idea what they're talking about.
VastaKustutaSo hard to tolerate and love them!
VastaKustutaI would have preferred they watched an episode instead of judging based on the theme song.
VastaKustuta@DashAttack
VastaKustutaI am very disappointed in the teenagers I'm forced to associate with.
trololo?
VastaKustutaSigh are they really serious? They make online videos and they've never heard of MLP? That's the part I have trouble swallowing. Oh well *braces for the storm*
VastaKustutawow, that was awesome, i say that in total sarcasm, they made us look a lot weirder than we are and one guy even thought we were trolls. plus, they only showed the theme song, i'd of thought the same thing if i only saw the theme song. my day was made -_-
VastaKustutaI used to watch their videos, then I remembered kids make me want to kick puppies. And I'm only 15. Is this any better?
VastaKustutaget a life? coming from the obv tool hs kid lol funny
VastaKustutaTeenagers will be teenagers haha I found the video mostly entertaining, although a biiit irksome at some points. But mostly because I know people like that and it's sad to see that a mostly intolerant attitude is what's considered "normal".
VastaKustutaProps to the tall black guy, I loved how he was all like "Well I'm not gonna hate on bronies".
If you dislike it, even if it's at first sight without giving it a real try, at least you don't go saying "it's a disgrace for men" and ignorant stuff like that hehe
THEY ARE MODERATING COMMENTS ON THE VIDEO! WE ARE TOO POWERFUL!
VastaKustutaChecking the comments here, I just come accross a very glaring question that's looking at me with half closed, angry eyes.
VastaKustuta"Where did they find these people?" These are certainly people who don't spend enough time online.
Good Luna, I'm so happy I'm not one anymore.
aw they should've used the colbert brony shout out
VastaKustuta@TheTrollingBrony best comment of the day
VastaKustutau mad bro? u mad?
VastaKustutau mad bro? u mad?
u mad bro? u mad?
They just have to watch a couple episodes... then the magic will happen :3
VastaKustutaSHIT THAT ONE GUY IN THE HOODIE FOUND OUT! PACK IT IN, THEY KNOW WE BE TROLLIN!
VastaKustutalike i need approval from teenagers on what i can and can't watch XP. i liked that girl in the hat and the one teen in the striped shirt tho:)
Will I never get a girlfriend because I'm a brony?
VastaKustuta@Dwarfyz
VastaKustutaI don't really spam it myself, i very rarely say it :P, but the video kind of got annoying, and don't jump to that and miss my point of that kid being ignorant and completely clueless on the subject >_>
i dont like most of these kids. i am dissapoint in them.but ill love and tolerate them, (even though it hurts me to). nuff said. now if you excuse me, im gonna giggle at the ghostie for awhile, then head over to sugercube corner for a few cupcakes with pinkie pie, while we play a few pranks on ponyville. MLP FIM 4 LIFE!!!! brohoof /)*(\
VastaKustutaThis just shows how ignorant and how jerkish most of teens my age are. It's sad really. Just another situation of:
VastaKustuta"You like something I don't like, which means you're weird and you should get a life!!"
They'll get it when they're older.
VastaKustutaDevin is a boss, i can tell.
VastaKustutaWow ... I just tried to comment on youtube directly but they have to approve the comment first ... censorship is fun, ain't it ?
VastaKustutaAnyway, I didn't like this video, it's so sad to see how close-minded these teenagers are, except for that one guy who instantly wants to give it a try.
VastaKustutathey just showed them the intro...
VastaKustutaTeens are so dumb. "Oh what will my friends think OMG?!" they don't make good decisions because they're thinking is based on a corrupted social hierarchy.
VastaKustutaI think they were trolling by only showing them the intro. :P You can't become a brony just by watching the intro....well except for that one kid. Lol. They should have at least made them watch the pilot.
VastaKustutaFrom these comments, i think i will just not watch it.
VastaKustuta@James Corck No it isn't. A good chunk of people I know don't know what Star Wars is. They'll recognize Yoda, but the series is unknown to them. It blows me away every time.
VastaKustutaI should probably hate them, but nah. I was EXACTLY like that when I first heard about it, and I didn't start liking it up until 4rd episode.
VastaKustutaOk,ok so you now go back to your sad life while i make myself happier with ponies :)
VastaKustutaGuys, the Fine Bros. want 7000 likes on the video. We've already reached that. LET'S TAKE IT HIGHER!
VastaKustuta@Dionysus "That one dude who insisted that we're trolls was ridiculous, he never heard of the show or community before but instantly agreed that we're cancer ?"
VastaKustutaI was EXACTLY the same before watching the show. I stopped hating bronies only after concluding that we're trolls.
You have to watch the show to come up with a proper judgement but before they do, their opinion will simply be whatever is most socially acceptable. So, I don't blame them really.
i laughed pretty hard throughout that whole thing actually.
VastaKustutaTHESE kids are the people that cause all that butthurt for others, when you see comments like "LOL U LIEK MLP? YOU A FAG!!!" you will see that they are just these teenagers.
don't fret my fellow bronies, if anything it just sheds light on why you should keep on keepin on, because you see the face of the people who don't like you. and they are just kids XP
"They shouldn't be allowed to call themselves men"
VastaKustutaI'm pretty sure your intolerance disqualifies you from breeding, ever.
@GHXpert59
VastaKustuta*Judgmental moment*
I'd expect nothing more from a YouTube partner (or at least, a channel whose videos are featured all the time).
*Judgmental moment over*
Teens are really not the best authority on something like our show. I initially kept away from this show until I caught a glimpse of it through internet memes and funny videos on YouTube. Youtube videos are how I discovered a lot of my current favorite shows (mostly anime). Long story short, I watched the first few episodes and enjoyed them, but Bridal Gossip is where I got hooked. These kids needed to see actual episode footage, because the theme song really is the girliest part of the show.
The guy with the red/brown hoodie pissed me right off. He thought he was so cool.
VastaKustutaHow do they judge the whole show just by watching the intro? The only one I approve of is Devin, the rest can go get punched by Obama.
VastaKustutaFuck that "troll" kid and fuck that asian kid. Smack me with my pony? How original.
VastaKustuta@Multiversity
VastaKustutaSome people just don't know their subculture.
It doesn't matter anyways, this comments section shows we are still quite level headed.

VastaKustutaKeramatzmode reacts to justin bieber hair guy
That blonde chick who wants a guy who is 'tough' is a jerk. I hope she likes some guy and they have the best relationship she's ever had and then she finds out he likes ponies just to get in her face.
VastaKustutaI liked the teens that didn't care about males liking MLP: FiM, that's good character right there; the others, though, dear Luna they need to love and tolerate.
VastaKustutaApparently they haven't met Fluttershy.
VastaKustuta@zerila
VastaKustutaYep.
VastaKustutaWell, except when we get into best pony descriptions. Then it's every bit as controversial as the republican primaries. :D
Thumbs down everypony!
VastaKustutaI'm actually not surprised... the first time I watched the intro... hmm. Well, I basically puked my balls out, but after "enduring" the childish cliches in the plotline, I warmed up to the show.
VastaKustutaAnd we all know that the intro isn't the best way to explain MLP. Whoever directed this show should've gotten some actual bronies to explain this stuff. It's not like all we do is troll, or make captions, or watch the show. If those kids knew the talent some of us had, and the commitment we've made to the show... things would be different.
Devin and girl with hat you are awesome. The rest of you will feel the full force of my love and tolerance!
VastaKustutashould've at least shown an episode
VastaKustutaThey got some facts wrong on there, 'cuz its more late teen or 20's, so there's a level of maturity that is usually missing in a younger kid.
VastaKustutaAnd being 20 myself, I am totally gonna say "Teens are stupid" :D
They haven't seen pony swag. Or pony anthology. or even equestria gurls...or DJ Amaya and DJ Alex S
VastaKustutaThis was a totally loaded segment meant to elicit a reaction. They only showed them the intro and a few image macros. I'd say they probably, at max, did about 15 minutes of research for this, anything you can just grab off of the front page of Google or Google Images.
VastaKustutaThere was absolutely nothing positive about those questions, nor meant to be endearing. I especially cringed when they asked the dating question. What do you THINK they're going to say after building them up like that?
This is absolutely shameful, exploitative work, doubly so for a web-based series. I'd expect this sort of schlock from a TV network. Developers of a webseries have no excuse.
Just another reason for me to be ashamed of being part of this generation of teenagers.
VastaKustutaA perfect IRL example of judging a book by its cover.
VastaKustutaThose people are just pussies.... -__-'
VastaKustutaThe rating of this post doesn't match the amount of likes of the video on YouTube. However, I never take EqD's posts ratings into account, unless we talk about Fanfics.
VastaKustutaI just watched this on youtube and ran over here to see if it was on EQD... Sure enough, it was. To all the haters in this video... I will love and tolerate the HELL out of all of you. And they only assume it's bad just from watching the intro. That's ridiculous. At least there were 2 who liked it and 1 who at least accepted it.
VastaKustutaDOWNVOTE EVERYONE! I'm mad.
VastaKustutaI think i'm gonna invite them all over to my house for some delicious cupcakes >:D
VastaKustutaTo be fair, I used to hate bronies too. That was until I actually watched the show; now you'd be hard pressed to find a brony more devout.
VastaKustutaThat was pretty entertaining - Devin became a brony in 10 seconds flat =O
VastaKustutaA shame they didn't show anything other than the intro, too much exposure there, show them lesson zero...
Also I have a horrible feeling there may be a sudden surge of haters coming our way, but they're gonna be loved and tolerated the shit out of =p
i wonder what Lauren and Sibsy think of this.
VastaKustutaMeh, teenagers. What do you expect from them?
VastaKustutaI am leaving this planet and moving to Equestria.
VastaKustutaBefore anyone says "why didn't you move there sooner?"I have my reasons.
Really, long time before I joined, I thought that bronies were trolls, too. But I gave it a shot after watching Equestria Girls for the twentieth time xD
VastaKustutaOkay. Um. They didn't even watch the show. Just the opening...and all of their opinions were cool except those few guys and girls. I don't give a crap about being "a real man" if I have to throw my intrests away. So sorry.
VastaKustutaReminds me of my friends...
VastaKustutaNever seen the show and said it has to be a show for little girls.
Showed them one or 2 whole episodes now they watch them with me every saturday or sunday. :)
I tolerate people who don't like MLP after watching at least one episode but i think its stupid to say it's bad if u haven't seen it.
@KeramatZMode
VastaKustutaBrony musicians have talent, but since they clop i seriously doubt that would have made them tolerate us more.
In all honesty? The one person I did like completely was Isaac. "Do what you're gonna do, I won't judge."
VastaKustutaWhy did they only show them the intro? they should show them one of the hundreds of fan made videos or one of the better episodes like dragonshy or lesson zero
VastaKustuta@Timber
VastaKustutaThe "troll" kid was, in my opinion, one of the biggest douche-bags I've ever seen.
That one guy calling himself a brony after seeing the intro:
VastaKustutaFastest conversion ever?
Why's everyone getting so angry....
VastaKustutaThey're teenagers.
It makes them interesting, not ,as Nicole Oliver said, "the boring old shade of beige."
VastaKustutaHow ever some kids were cool.
VastaKustuta*facehoof* you don't show the "worst" to people giving it a try ... I can personal say as a 15 that I was almost about to stop waching the show because of the intro (now the intro sounds like sweet honey in my ears) ....sigh...love and tolerate lag-y love and tolerate...
VastaKustuta@Scarbird
VastaKustutaespecially so for me...
Yeah, judging a book by it's cove :\
VastaKustutaPrincess Celestia will not approve that :3
Watching the intro ... Heck I skip the intro. Into is bad.
VastaKustutaShould'a shown them cupcakes
VastaKustuta@Flutteryay
VastaKustutawell younger teens actually hate most of the things, and older teen(around 17, 18) kinda accept it with more tolerance.
i remenber that i used to hate pokemon, digimon, anime, internet.....now years later its completely different.
ITT bronies reacting to teens reacting to bronies
VastaKustuta@Everlasting Joy Do you want to be a servant or guard at the castle?
VastaKustutaYOU'RE FUCKED! PREPARE FOR A NEW BATCH OF BRONIES! EVEN MORE RETARDED THAN THE ONES FROM THE SUMMER!
VastaKustutaRUNNNN!!! ESCAPE!!!!
This was hardly surprising, nor providing us with any new information. That these attitudes exists are well known, I've encountered them all my life for not living up to a male gender stereotype.
VastaKustutaThe question is, why should I care about the opinions of a bunch of closed-minded teenagers who will have no impact on my life whatsoever?
@Vinyl_Regret That's exactly what I thought. The intro is not enough material, they really should have used some awesome scenes. I personally thought this was a brony bashing teens react
VastaKustutaCome on, guys. What could you expect? They have neither the time nor the resources to show them an entire episode. And you could already tell the implications of this; the people who wanted to watch or didn't care would watch it, while the people who are like "no" would up and leave.
VastaKustutaCalm the hell down.
Just calm the fuck down.
@amcsi :Motherofgod:
VastaKustutaThis is all one large social experiment!
And don't get all "omg teens react hates bronies" on everyone else. This ain't no Glenn Beck conspiracy theory hour. You asked for MLP, they showed MLP. GET OVER IT.
VastaKustuta> Talks about show made for little girls.
VastaKustuta> Don't show any of the actual show.
VastaKustutaI guess I might have been like that before, as well, but I'm glad to have moved far beyond that point by now.
Like somepony said before, give em time.
Remember guys, they're just kids...
VastaKustutaHow DARE they have a different opinion than US?!
VastaKustutaAh teenagers, I'm so glad I'm not one anymore. Now I can do whatever I feel like and not give a crap about what anyone else thinks.
VastaKustutaThis was wonderful. It made me laugh so hard, that said, I wouldn't want to date someone who would dismiss me simply because of my hobbies, but I also would never turn down a night out in preference of a hobby.
VastaKustutaThank you for posting this. It made my day.
@Bringer of Truthiness
VastaKustutaWatch out, we have ourselves a badass over here.
Eh. This was pretty much what I expected. One person who loves it, two who don't care, and the rest think we are a disease.
VastaKustutaAlthough I did find it pretty entertaining how offended some of the people got about the existence of Bronies.
you cant really judge a show of the intro music and almost no background info :\
VastaKustutaYAY GAY PANIC
VastaKustutaUm... I don't even know what to say... that was possibly the stupidest thing I've seen in quite awhile... I hate children... I really do... (I'm 15, and this is an insult to my age group)
VastaKustutaFor those feeling doubts after watching this: I wouldn't worry too much.
VastaKustutaIn the meantime, your life is your own. If somebody doesn't like that, both you and they will need to come to terms with that.
In other, only somewhat related thoughts, this is actually a thing? They have teens(this batch, or otherwise) citing their initial reactions to...stuff? Why is this necessary?
Hopefully, the teens reactions will stop their audience from watching the show.
VastaKustutaGood. I don't want a bunch of brainless idiots being fans of MLP.
I find this rather sad, but that is how people are, they Judge based off of bare-bone information.
VastaKustutaI'm guessing based on the info given to the teens, the producers of this, are probably neigh sayers, otherwise they would have shown more credible info.
@Bringer of Truthiness
VastaKustutaI am with you. Though I am seeing less anger than I first expected, it's quite sad to see people not getting the joke.
We should remember the episode with Gilda, and be able to get the joke, am I right?
Kind of what I expected. Glad I'm not a teenager. Everyone I know doesn't care what I'm into, and by now my parents are perfectly aware their daughter is weird. So much so that our summer vacation to NYC was planned so I can stop in to BroNYcon.
VastaKustutaAnd you bet your flanks I'm asking for a pony cake for my 24th birthday next month.
I actually stopped watching that series because the tone of the show has taken a turn for the judgmental a good long time ago. It's not about the thing anymore and more about the fans and how stupid they are. At least the kids' version of this crap the kids are innocent, but these guys are just terrible people.
VastaKustutaSome teens these days. /shakeshead
VastaKustutaThe thing that pisses me off, isn't the reactions, we all know people react like that.
VastaKustutaIt's that fact that the video is trying to convey that these kids are making sense, as they wouldn't use the clips they thought would be out of line.
I will Love and Tolerate the living CRAP out of them! (except Devin. He's cool)
VastaKustutaBlue-striped shirt boy:
VastaKustutaWELCOME TO THE HERD!
The guy is the red jacket is a closet brony!
VastaKustutaTo be fair, when I was 14, I probably would have thought that Bronies were some sort of 'disease' or that they 'wouldn't deserve to call themselves men' and that 'men should be tough.' Pretty sure most of my high school class felt that way. It was only when I got to college that I realized that I was being a total tool and needed to straighten up and fly right.
VastaKustutaLet's face it.
VastaKustutaSigh. That show gave a bad impression of bronies to their audience. We can only hope that some of them will be open minded enough to check it out for themselves and see the awesomeness beyond what they were shown.
VastaKustutaWell...the fact that I myself am a teenager does not seem to make me any less disappointed in closed minded many of today's teenagers are...although Devin and the girl in the hat seemed cool...
VastaKustuta@ScootalooIsBestPony One of? I say he qualifies for High Master Bag of Douchiness.
VastaKustutaAm I happy that I never was that kind of teenager. Neither where most of my friends back then.
VastaKustutaSigh. That show gave a bad impression of bronies to their audience. We can only hope that some of them will be open minded enough to check it out for themselves and see the awesomeness beyond what they were shown.
VastaKustutafor crying out loud did they just show the theme song??? that kinda defeats the purpose! thats the part everyone skips over!
VastaKustutaA lot more negative than I thought it would be. Most episodes of both Kids and Teens react aren't as judgmental. Very disappointed. But I don't need approval of people I don't even know, so whatevs.
VastaKustutaObviously the show isn't going to be seen well by someone that never heard of it, quite a lot of fans didn't like it at first, but it grew on them. Teenagers are especially known for their black-and-white thinking and vulnerability to peer pressure ('I can't like it! People will laugh at me in school!'), so they're even more prone to dismiss it instantly.
VastaKustutaStill, could they have done it better? I don't think so, short of tying them up to a chair and forcing them to watch an entire episode in the hopes they find their own reason to like the show within these 20 minutes, but that's just unlikely (and possibly illegal).
I certainly don't blame them for advertising the series, that's for sure.
@Monsty
VastaKustutaSo. Darn. True.
I could copy-paste this all day if necessary just to show how right you are.
I was worried I this was gonna get me angry.
VastaKustutaAs harsh as some of it was, I actually feel kind of good :)
Oh, cmon. Do you really care about opinion of random typical teenagers? "I wanna boy like: lm tough!" Geez...
VastaKustutaWe should just let this go. They are different people, with different opinions, and live in today's society-- what did you expect from this?
VastaKustutaIf we are their betters, we should not care about them.
VastaKustutaI think Devin was the coolest one.
VastaKustutaPlus the whole"Only trolls make images with captions and this is a complete troll move" made my day.
