[Normal] [Sad]
Author: Starry Tides
Description: It's amazing just how much things can change in such a short amount of time. For Trixie, her world is turned upside down in a moment of anger, and she finds herself alone in a cold and unforgiving world with nothing but her name. As she struggles to find her way and pursue her dream of being a renowned actress, she must don a mask of arrogance and confidence, not even noticing as the mask she despises fuses to her very being.

ReplyDeleteum...
Oh good this 0ne is just normally sad.
ReplyDeleteSounds almost like a kind of back story.
ReplyDeleteI really never do get what people see in trixie. I'll read this and maybe the I'll understand.
ReplyDeleteI think the begininng could have used a bit of internal monologue and a bit less omniscient narrative but I still found it interesting overall
ReplyDeletejavascript:void(0)Author: Starry Tides = best tag
ReplyDelete@Kranbe Its been said before so I'm just paraphrasing here, but Trixie is a deeply flawed character with no canon backstory, so there's plenty of room for fanon to imagine her descent and or redemption.

ReplyDeleteWhat (who?) do I have to do to get myself promoted to a javascript void (0) author instead of just regular type?
ReplyDeleteAll kidding aside, very nice.
ReplyDeleteI might recommend a looser line spacing for ease of use, but that's just window dressing.
All the world's a stage,
And all the colts and fillies merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one mare in her time plays many parts
Goddammit this is basically the story I was writing.
ReplyDeleteSorry this isn't about the story, but is the art giving anyone else Bastion flashbacks? It's amazing!
ReplyDeleteSOPA has been defeated! Long live the Internet!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely do want more of this story. Its good to have a back story now I can view her in a better light then I have been.
ReplyDeleteNo Seth, don't do it! If you mess with Javascript, you could dummy out the entire site!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, back story is always nice.
Trixie wants to be an actress?
ReplyDeletewow, poor trixie I hope she comes back in then show not as an antagonist
ReplyDeleteNeeded more showing and less telling, it would have been nice to see more details of things like Trixie's performance at the start, showing things like the reactions of the crowd, her failing to pick things up, ect.
ReplyDeleteYou've set up the stage beautifully, so to speak. Now I'm eager to see where the story's heading!
ReplyDeleteYou're certainly doing *something* right: I'm completely heartbroken over Trixie and the bind she's in. Please keep posting more, I need to know she'll be all right ;-)
