On an unrelated point, what will happen to our page hit counter when we hit 100 million? Will it stop working or it defy all laws of... coding and grow extra spot for the additional digit?
First one is kinda meh. Great vocal and enjoyable text but the music was so... can't find the proper word in english now. What I mean is that 60-70% songs of this genre sound exactly like this one. Go to any given club and you'll heat this song. Very good idea with it's text but it's hard to design something epic this way. Only a few can really do something this way.
The 2nd one was much more enjoyable for me. I'm easily bought with effects like the ones used here so I would love it even if there was Bieber's song in background :P
Is there any way to differentiate from a "Song with pony clips and pictures in the background" and a "Song remade using pony clips"? Becuase they are both titled PMV. *sigh*
Well, dang. Hadn't even heard the remix in that first one until this. Nice remix. As for the typography video itself; it was alright. I honestly found it a little messy and lacking the fluidity I like in spots.
Am I the only one who thinks that the rapping part of the first song ruins it? I always thought that Alex S. managed to perfect Ken Ashcorp's ready great song, but this Lulz guy kinda ruined the song with his own lyrics.
#1 was great, considering I'm not a big follower of that music style. As for #2, I was left confused by what the video was describing at the end there. Liked the syncing and presentation but it felt like it was trying to tell me something that I just couldn't figure out.

ReplyDeleteWatched #1.
ReplyDeleteHeadache commencing.
Am I about the only person who thinks that song would be better without the words?
These are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI love typography's when they're made this good
ReplyDeletebabada dada DA
ReplyDeletesorry trying something
These both are excellent.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering when Bravado would get on here. I've been in love with that vid since I saw it.
ReplyDeleteThese Rush PMVs are always amazing
ReplyDelete@OtterMatt
ReplyDeleteDo you mean the words sung, the words rapped, or the words displayed onscreen?
That Sweetie Belle pic is gonna give me Diabetes for sure this time.
ReplyDeletewatched both of them, i personally prefer the 1st one but the second one is relaxing for me

ReplyDeleteI didn't like the music for the first one. I guess I don't like pony songs unless they're a joke. Besides, I don't like that musical style.
ReplyDeleteSorry, but I just can't take a song seriously when it's pony-related. :/
Pony-fy ALL the Rush!
ReplyDeleteFirst one is just amazing, and while the second one is not my kind of video it still was nice to watch.

ReplyDeleteBoth videos deserves to be on the Hub Channel during commercial. That can earn a massive appeal to non-bronies and bronies related!!! ^_^
ReplyDeleteI think I like typography videos more than actual one made from clips?

ReplyDeleteYes. All of the above. I just want the instrumental version. AlexS's music is too damn good on its own, I think.
The lip sync in "Bravado" was perfect!
ReplyDeleteThe first one was great!
ReplyDeleteUuuuh, I think both of these have been posted before. Though I don't think anybody would complain for the first one.

ReplyDeleteReally liking 20% Cooler. I'll need to find some YouTube downloader for that one.
ReplyDelete@OtterMatt
ReplyDeleteNo you're not. That song sounds terrible with all that raping over the top. I much prefer the version/remix Alex S. did.
*rapping. Herp derp.
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, I liked #1 until the part at 2:22.
ReplyDeleteThe lip syncing on #2 was great! And number one is just an awesome song. And great typography!

ReplyDelete@Chaoyll
ReplyDeleteWell that's like, your own opinion man.
20% cooler was amazing! but the best line was "Here's What I Meant... Getting Cooler By 20 Percent!"
ReplyDeleteSweetie Belle has an amazing smile!
ReplyDelete@OtterMatt
ReplyDeleteThen go watch the original video? I thought this was just amazing :D
I liked this version of 20% more than the original.
ReplyDeleteWhat a coincidence. I made a post like this on Reddit 5 days ago.
