Well... it's certainly interesting. lol Didn't think I'd hear these two play at the same time. Though I can't say it's the best combination I've heard lately. It's decent and the beats match a little too good for these two songs. lol The pics cracked me up. Especially that one with Twilight's head as the basketball. "I will devour your soul". xD
nah sorry, but that was "a beebo performance" (<- do americans write beebo like that? :D ). the vocals where overlapped most times and that hurt my ears, also the beats of pinkies brew and space jam dont work together imo.
As a connoisseur of fine mashups, I believe this song works way better than it should. The vocal patterns for that witches brew song works really, really well with the beat. But you do lose points for making me want to watch Space Jam again. Also, Derp Nowitzki: I have observed the object you were attempting in that location.
For anyone who doesn't know, the original Pinkie's Brew song is from Friendship is Witchcraft, a sort-of abridged series that's freaking hilarious (YMMV). A Youtube search will bring it up.
Crappy song, you don't combine space jam with techno, especially if there are notes in there which might make it discordant as hell. Here's a good remix tho: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTKz956YWYE
I get the feeling, though I didn't think it was so bad. I did like that remix you linked. Let's try to not be so blunt though, just because you weren't fond of this particular bit doesn't make it crappy. I personally am fond of Pinkie's Brew, in doses anyway.
That seems a little extreme don't you think? I know some people don't like FiW (though for what reason I don't know, I find it hilarious), but did a few fan made videos really make you THAT angry? There is far worse fan made stuff out there *cough* cupcakes, rainbow factory, sweet apple massacre *cough*.
I gotta admit, I love how catchy "Pinkie's Brew" is. I love robot Sweetie Belle just a hair more, but it's still one of the best things to come out of "Friendship is Witchcraft".

Considering this is from the abridged show that nearly made me quit watching My Little Pony out of anger, no. It does not rule at all.
ReplyDeleteBUT I NEED ME SOUL
ReplyDeleteC'MON AND SLAM IF YOU WANNA JAM
ReplyDeleteWell this is... Uhh... Interesting, to say the least.
ReplyDeleteHardly "Legendary" but still a good tune all in all... I'd love to see what someone could do with a remix of the 2 songs rather than a mash up..
ReplyDeleteI hate Pinkie's Brew

ReplyDeleteI like where this is going but the mash up doesn't work. I was expecting a remix. This just needs some more time in the oven. ;)

ReplyDeletelol, Pinkie's Brew... I could just imagine Pinkie sneaking over to Zecora's and haphazardly mixing ingredients.
ReplyDeletezomg, who even saw the potential for this epic mashup? Dafuq?! so good
ReplyDeleteOh Gawd.. Space Jam, the nostalgia....it hurts
ReplyDeleteOk, someone's gotta mix this song with savior of the slamming jam!
ReplyDeleteHow can anyone not love Pinkie's Brew? It's such a clever and charmingly written song, and it just screams Pinkie Pie.
