Having known Mr. Stein since long before ponies, this was only inevitable. Inevitable, but totally awesome and totally worth it. If he hadn't done this on his own, I was about to suggest just a thing to him!
It's a long one and listening to it I almost forgot I was listening to a pony song. The parody synced very well, it never seemed forced or stretched. Most excellent job!
I'm not a fan of Green Day, but I am a fan of Mando. It seems there's nothing great music artists can't get me to like when it's pony-related. Fantastic work!
Great work! Great lyrics and singing. All expect for the part that says "every pony in this towns crazy" which is driving me crazy because it doesn't sound right. idk if its the rythem or vocals but something sounds wrong there

Listening to this song was an exhausting task. I'm a great fan of Mando's work but this song is so bad that I couldn't even force myself to listen to lyrics.
I understand that we've got mostly usarian teenagers here but could we please not go as low as Green Day?
Ha! I've always loved this song. But you guy need to do more Queen remixes, I'm brainstorming ideas. It sucks how 'clopping' means fapping... 'Don't Clop Me Now'would be good and not, yeah.
Ideas: 'Another One Bites The Grass','We Are The Stallions', '(Unoriginal, but) Somepony To Love','Cows Were Here' and the rest. . .
Green Day has been a huge influence on me and my work which you said you were a fan of, so I apologize for "going so low" as to cover a song of theirs, but they helped me out during a very rough time in my life and helped me find passion and a reason to carry on.
Please, if you're going to be a brony or be related in brony activities, at least try to practice some love and tolerance--and you might wanna dismount your high horse too. It doesn't become you.

ReplyDeleteI got the idea to do Let Em In after thinking "Somepony's knocking at my door." It was done within the week. :P
I already wrote Bloomberg (Bluebird), though, so no big deal.

Words fail me in describing how awesome that was, so I shall have to settle for an emoticon.

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite green day songs and a big reason I picked up a guitar in the first place. Thanks Mando for a brilliant cover.

ReplyDeleteExcellent parody. Now if you were to do the entire American Idiot album, as a parody, I would totally throw money at you Mando.
ReplyDeleteThat's an awesome job, nice done.
ReplyDeleteThat was great!
