I don't think I can pick a favorite out of these three. They each have their own charm to it. First had a great melody & lyrics, second one was very catchy, and the third was just...sweet.
By Celestia's beard! I just listened to Vanilla Twilight Sparkle and before it was on here? Have I become a hipster? D: Ah well, if so I did so to a good song. ;D
@Sethisto your not missing much r_r personally I started listening to more independent musics since Touhou days and the constant fan remixes and many vocals/originals that came from the fan works.
I can't believe how much this show and the fanworks have inspired so awesome beats and original content. It seriously gets better with time! look how far these now popular musicians have come, it's crazy! I am still amazed how driven these people are by their love of ponies and music! Daniel and the (I wish I knew his name that makes the background music for the show) must be proud to know how their music and the show managed to inspire so much. xD
Heck even finally a full blown vocal for a Trixie song, a character who only had just barely over 3 minutes of screen time VS say Applejack who is a mane cast that gets almost no recognition in the fandom! (seriously she spends too much time in the farm, poor girl..)
ALSO I still say that was a Trixie insert in baby form in that last episode! right at the start left of the Rarity baby! lol
Anyways yeah this fandom tops alll other fandoms END OF STORY! XD Trixie had better be a recurring character come season 3! (then again the fan works are so much more epic then anything I think Studio B can come up with at this point! :P PROVE ME WRONG!)
I thought the voice in the third one sounded very familiar... same person who did the one version of the Fluttershy Fireflies parody song. Very nice. Glad to see more great stuff from this artist. I really enjoyed this sweet little tune as I did the last. :)
The first two were pretty decent too. The Trixie one, though not a huge fan of that type of singing, was kinda nice as well.
A music post with both Trixie AND Luna themed works? By the stars, I might die from happiness!
The first one was something I felt Trixie's needed for a long time: a beautiful, emotional lyric-driven song that makes you feel what she must of felt in the aftermath of Boast Busters. It's glorious, and it's definitely going on my mp3.
The second is some nice, softer-end Luna dubstep. I definitely enjoyed this one, not just because Luna is best pony (in my opinion. All hail the Princess of the Night!), but because it hits everything I like to see in character dubsteps.
The final song is a good one, but I'm also an Owl City fan so... opinionated here.
Also, my mp3 player has about a gig of Pony tunes on it. If this fandom keeps making awesome music at this rate, it'll be completely full of pony by March.

ReplyDeleteThe best of problems, no doubt.
AAAAH I love Aviators' voice SO MUCH!
ReplyDeleteAnd the second song was really enjoyable as well! It had so much variety just in one track!
Couldn't really get through the 3rd though. The vocals were just too piercing for my ears. ^.^;
First was my favorite.
ReplyDeleteSweet! echoing vanilla Twilight Sparkles!

ReplyDeleteSeriously, I haven't listened to mainstream music in forever.
@Sethisto
ReplyDeleteI canceled my Zune Pass because of all the pony music. This fandom produces far more high quality music than I could ever want.
