Deae Lunae deserves its own post. It's the final completed version of Luna Deos, which was an amazing song in its own right, but damn does this version blow the original out of the water.
As a brony, shouldn't you of all people be more accepting of what people like? This is really disappointing to me seeing hypocritical people raging against dubstep in the comments all the time. And here's the real kicker, THIS ISN'T EVEN DUBSTEP. Seriously, this is electro, dubstep is not the only genre that has bass, nor did it invent it.

ReplyDeleteI was wondering why it was so similar. That makes a lot more sense now. And yes, totally worth it.
Makkon is best Pony.

ReplyDeleteNobody has listened to you whine about every little thing, and they never will.
I don't like the song, but I LOVE how Party of One continues to inspire new works. :)

its "Dear Lunae" not deae lunae
ReplyDeleteWell, makkon is what got me into this fandom, so I am forever in debt to him. This song right here is a shining example of that
ReplyDeleteInfinion it's right it ain't Dear and i love how it's makkon and pinkie pie losing her mind and not Nix_Spark
ReplyDeleteFirst is a really sweet and strong piece. Really like it. Another great song from Makkon.
ReplyDeleteThe second was alright. I liked it more before it started with the wubbing. lol
Deae Lunae was incredible. I can't stop listening to it. This must have taken YEARS. Well done! This song deserved it's own post.
ReplyDelete@InfinionLol, read the title of the video. Fail dude.
ReplyDeleteIs the title of the first one in Latin?
ReplyDeleteIt's randomness fits Pinkie well.
OhSnapDubstep!
ReplyDelete#1 why do i always picture some sort of epic mlp trailer when i hear makkon's music!?!
ReplyDelete#2 mmmm technoie!
@SuperGiantRobot
thats not even dubstep. lol. well its a very mellow one. and remember to tolerate and LUV
@Unknown
ReplyDeleteI LIKE dubstep quite a bit, but it's now getting to the point that every second or third song is dub.
I mean, I like sushi a lot, too, but if I had to eat nothing BUT sushi, I'd grow tired of it pretty quickly.
Dubstep is frankly just being overused at this point.
Deae Lunae is stunning! Listen to it with headphones... GOOD headphones.
ReplyDeleteI'd translate Deae Lunae as meaning "for the goddess of the moon."
ReplyDeleteHoly fuck #1 is beautiful.
ReplyDeletedamnit #1 is now private!
