ReplyDeleteFaust!
ReplyDeleteLol jk Lauren Faust
ReplyDeleteWait what
ReplyDelete@Offtopicrainbow we have a winner !
ReplyDeleteAlways love new pony music! So I guess I know what I'll be listening to while I draw ^^
ReplyDeleteOMG This is the best song ever!
ReplyDeleteAnd the voice acting is equally awesome.
And people say Pinkie isn't best pony!
ReplyDeletethat pinkie-anonymous.
ReplyDeleteI am best pony
ReplyDeleteI was wrong, I ended up staring at that to the end- that was awesome! Pinkie Pie's voice was surprisingly well done, though a bit soft at times, the animation was cute and really great, the song rhymed and was also well done- and it was overall entertaining and pretty much radical! Great job!
ReplyDeleteI need to ask was any one else against the killing of those animals in Ohio? It seemed highly unnecessary as a few of the animals were even native to the area.
ReplyDeleteI only ask cause I'm a big Wolf lover an the video they put up of a few wolves made me very upset with the "humane" way of dealing with it
Huh. It WAS a good year! For the internet that is :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait till season two just ends, no more ponies, no more bronies.

ReplyDeleteAwesome review, and plus ponified!
ReplyDeleteVoice is a little low but the great animation makes up for it. Plus it has pinkie wearing a mask.
ReplyDelete2011 good year lets make this one better
ReplyDelete@BeerGogglezz
ReplyDeleteThey're already starting on season three.
Are you an anti or something? Get out.
@Beergogglezz
ReplyDeleteHuh?
weren't you there when season 1 ended?

ReplyDeleteSinging is good.
ReplyDeleteBut terribly off beat.
Even though JibJab didn't have ponies in it their yearly video was still better.
And I recognize some of these lyrics as almost direct copies.
@ZAquanimus
ReplyDeleteWell they ARE singing about the same events...
It will set y'all of a bit. Season 1 ended y'all dropped by 40%. Face it bronies. You're dying out.
ReplyDeleteVery reminiscent of Jib Jab's Year in Review. Not to bad, the vocals could have been louder but it was pretty funny.
ReplyDelete@Beergogglezz
ReplyDeleteI think you have your numbers backwards... I'll admit we did take a nasty drop the past three weeks.
http://www.google.com/trends?q=Equestria+daily
@Beergogglezz
ReplyDeleteIf you don't like ponies or bronies, why are you on this site?
Anyway, great video! Funny too!
the singing is a bit off tune, but I guess that's just the detail nazi in me talking, good song though
ReplyDelete@Stormcloud
ReplyDeleteHe's trolling and we're feeding him with responses. :P
Hmm. It seems like the good bronies are dropping out, being replaced by the arrogant bronies.
ReplyDeleteMore like we're growing more and more, not fading.
ReplyDelete@Beergogglezz
ReplyDeleteLol
@Beergogglez
ReplyDeleteYou know what? It's actuall the arrogant people like you that cause us to lose faith. Your kind undermines the entire way we have chosen, yes the good one may be fading but they've left a big enough imprint for the rest of us to follow in.
Great animation, fantastic Pinkie-voice and only "some" problems with actually singing the words and matching them with music :p
ReplyDeleteAll in all, really enjoyable and I must say that if someone told me that video was made by a pro for some TV show, I would totally believe.
@Beergogglezz
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately :/
@Beergogglezz
ReplyDeletekumquats?
PS. No feeding of parasprites.
ReplyDeleteAnd fore Celestia's sake... No hate plox :]
My kind? You're referring to? I like anti-bronies no more then I like yall.
ReplyDeleteMan my playlist needs some serious updating.. Hey I think I just found a new years resolution! Update MLP Playlist for drawing and colouring
ReplyDelete@Travis Smith
ReplyDeleteI agree. Sometimes I'm afraid the bronies will fall, and ponies will end. Because I personally will never stop being a brony. So I just remember how amazing our fandom is and listen to some of the music and I feel a lot better. I know that we'll never just stop. We're not some stupid fad.
Sunset bronies are strong, they won't fall cause they have high respect for bronies, nothing's going to change that. It's just bronies are become arrogant, and the good are leaving.
ReplyDelete@Beergogglezz
ReplyDeleteSo, if you aren't a brony or an anti, why are you here? Just curious.
@Beegogglez
ReplyDeleteLike anti-Bronies as much us?
You know what? That is your personal opinion that can't change, but don't try to make sound like its a fact were dying off as a fandom. As far as I'm concerned, this is the largest fandom im damn proud of. So next time pick your words better. Goodbye
@Sunset Sprinkles
You know some music might help, I've had a very long an stressful day
Face it. You are dying off. The show is fading, the team is running out of ideas and many of the team are already struggling to keep the show apart. Lauren Faust left, and bronies a tending to a drop. Every organization follows a genesis, yours is ponies. When they die out so will you.
ReplyDelete@Travis Smith
ReplyDeleteI used to think you were kinda annoying because you constantly talked about RD, but now I have high respects for you. Haha hope I don't offend. It was my fault for judging.
Just stop bothering with him. You're just amusing him.
ReplyDeleteSunset, cause back before this "herd" thing, there were fans not bronies. I was one of them. We would create forums, to talk to each other, and we were productive. We left people alone and we didn't spread it, we let the true fans find out on there own. People respected us, then an arrogant person found the show, spread the ponies across the Internet, and started the bronies and the herd. Thus letting the bronies of today join.
ReplyDelete@Sunset Sprinkles
ReplyDeleteThat was when I was a newbie to this, now I've gotten better
@Beergogglez
Yes. One day it will end, but I'm sure all of us will remember what we did. One day I will have to stop an find another new thing to get with. It's like the game of Life, you just start over when the games done
You know what? I really liked that :D
ReplyDeleteI don't see what's so wrong with spreading the amazingness that is FiM. Some of my friends are not bronies, and I haven't shoved ponies down their throat. But most of my friends are, and thank me for showing it to them.
ReplyDeleteLOL funniest thing I've ever seen.
ReplyDelete@RavensDagger
ReplyDeleteactually, if you expand that graph, the drop off in hits is actually less pronounced and in fact small enough to be considered visit noise.
i awed at the don't ask animation <3
ReplyDeleteAlso, and after checking some of the comments, this will never end.
ReplyDeleteWe left too great an impact on the internet to ever fade out. Are people leaving? No. They might be less active, but you never stop being a brony. Once you've done something (a PMV, a drawing, a fanfic) it sticks, it stays, even if it's just for one person, let alone almost 100 million (look at that counter).
We aren't fading. It's just that Christmas took all of our energy and we don't have a new episode until the 17th ^_^ Besides, guys, it's just a show. Just sit back and have fun, there are more important things than this in life. Like love. Or having a job, and a house to live in.
@Travis Smith My thoughts exactly on what you said to beerjunky or whoever that racist troll is.
ReplyDelete@Pinkie Pie Don't start the dreaded best pony war again! Everyone knows I'm Best Pony anyways. Wait a second I didn't mean that at all!!!
@James Corck
ReplyDeleteTook the words right out of my mouth.
And isn't the next episode on the 7th?
@melodiousgames
ReplyDeleteI think it could be attributed to the holiday season, too.
@Sunset Sprinkles
ReplyDeleteThought it was to? I need to check that
@Sunset Sprinkles
ReplyDeleteIt's the 7th ^_^; Oh horseapples, I got that wrong, sowwy everyone.
That means it's next Saturday. That leaves me less time to work on the fic. This holiday season really was a torpedo to my creativity's vessel. I need to get my mood back.
Guys, why are we feeding the trolls? There's no helping that troll. He obviously has his information mixed up, but he's just trolling.
ReplyDelete@James Corck
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. I've been writing a fic for some time now, but I only have 15 pages done. And Christmas break didn't make it any less difficult.
@melodiousgames
ReplyDeleteAnother thing I found interesting is that the average numbers for the last three months are substantially higher than May/June/July/August, which often seems to be identified as the theoretical heyday of the fandom.
Some other data - the Know Your Meme round-up of top memes of 2011 has graphs of popularity of the different things in its top 10 by google searches.
Lots of them, as you'd expect from memes, have huge peaks and major troughs. But MLP's popularity remains pretty steady. It gradually slopes up over the course of the year, but is basically a straight line in contrast to all the fluctuations of the others. Which indicates that it's not really a meme.
@Sunset Sprinkles
ReplyDeleteTry having the middle and ending parts done but no beginning
Clannad is in Hall of Fame?
ReplyDeleteWHERE???
Watching that video, I realized just how crazy this year actually was.
ReplyDelete@Travis Smith
ReplyDeleteHuh...that's a really good idea. Too late though. I already wrote the start.
@Tears of a Valedictorian
ReplyDeleteData wonkery aside, the show has been way more popular from October to now than it's been at any other point this year, so the whole "fandom's dying" stuff seems pretty overdone.
Also, I'm really looking forward to seeing this video. Tell me about politics, Pinkie.
I'm sorry, but regardless of politics, ponies have nothing to do with protesting. I'm sick of hearing about it everywhere else, do we really need to bring it here? They have nothing to do with bronies at all. If anything, I feel most are the opposite of one. Still, I like ponies because of the lack of politics and blatant hate everywhere. I would very much appreciate it if we didn't bring OWS and that kind of behavior here. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteIm sorry, but i couldent get past 10 seconds. It sounds like pinkie pie was singing with a cold. While being strangled.
ReplyDelete@Sunset Sprinkles
ReplyDeleteNo it's not an now I'm stuck with it until a find a good to write. Wish me luck!
2 things:
ReplyDelete1) I found the video to be cute.
2) MLP:FiM has made a mark on the internet in a way that few shows can claim to have done.
The song was okay, could have been a bit louder at times but otherwise good. Not awesome, but good :) Now that I've commented on it, I can go into off-topic, right? :P
ReplyDelete(Mostly aimed at Beergogglezz)
So, on the topic of bronies dying out... What are you basing this on? I can't say if I agree or not as I have no data, nor have I even given any thought to it. I'd like to ask the same question about the good ones leaving, too. What/who are the "good ones"? Are they the loving and tolerating kind? The kind that doesn't shove ponies in everyone's faces?
Of course people want to share things they enjoy, in this case it's ponies. I think there's nothing wrong with that. There are of course those people who keep bringing it up all the time even when others aren't interested. Some ask for best ways to "convert" others into bronies. Then there are those that troll with ponies because they know it annoys people. Idiots and jerks will always exist, we are speaking about humans after all.
My personal opinion is that even if the show ended, which it will at some point, not everything goes with it. People would move onto other things and go on with their lives but that wouldn't take away what this show, what this fandom has done to them, to us. It has touched us, this show about sweet, innocent, multi-coloured ponies. It has reminded us of those simple values it "preaches", of love and tolerance, of innocence and of friendship.
Seems like I let myself get out of control for a sec there. :P
Yes, I know I'm likely feeding a troll but I don't mind. Who am I to spoil his fun? :D And if he is serious, all the more reason to answer. ^^
@Travis Smith
ReplyDeleteYou better finish! I'm looking forward to reading it.
If you'll share it, that is. ^^
@JiiKoo
ReplyDeleteYou good sir, deserve a brohoof. /)*(\
i could bearly heard what she says
ReplyDeleteAnd the video's great, I'd love to hear Pinkie Pie do the nightly news. So much stuff this year - how many countries had their leaders pushed out through revolution, war or economic collapse? Five? More?
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping this year's going to be a little more boring.
Pinkie sounded really tired. 2011 got to everypony I suppose.
ReplyDeleteThat kinda... wasn't... good.
ReplyDeleteMy thought on the fandom:
ReplyDeleteWhile I owe it to the "Brony community" for introducing me to FiM, I am a fan because I genuinely enjoy the show. The fact that there is a fairly sizable online community out there is a bonus, but I would still eagerly watch FiM even if EQD and every other pony blog out there were to shut down tomorrow.
I know that the show can't run forever, but I'll always remember the show fondly (similar to how I still enjoy Animaniacs). This is the main reason that I really want box sets. I want to be able to watch any episode, years into the future.
I am not a Brony just because there are other Bronies.
@Sunset Sprinkles
ReplyDelete/)*(\ :)
I'm honestly a bit curious and hope he replies. Especially if there is any evivdence to the dying out part. Not that I'm worried, just curious.
Also I pretty much agree with Shiranai. I do like the community too, though. :)
@Beergogglezz You're kidding right? Bronies are always growing, I only joined in October and I've seen a massive amount of growth in the community even since then. We aren't going to be around forever but that doesn't mean we're dying out right this instant. Many friends of mine didn't even know about the show until late this past year, myself included. And have you taken a look at the polls/contests regarding MLP vs. anything else? How about the HumbleBrony bundle? and the Folding@Home group? A majority of us are here to make some kind of difference, not all of it is about the show. I don't know what about that could possibly be conceived as arrogant. If you don't like what the community has become, you don't have to be here.
ReplyDeleteGood god this chick's bad at singing. :| Her notes are off-tempo, off-sync, and she's mumbling her words as if she's trying to not wake up a sleeping bear.
ReplyDelete3/10.
I'm 17, and what is this?
ReplyDelete1:58
ReplyDeleteDamn straight she's best Pony.
@GaruuSpike I see someone else caught the off-tempo crap.
ReplyDelete@ThePaintedTarget I joined in July (I believe), and saw the fandom grow faster and faster until I simply lost track of it and let it fade into the background.
ReplyDelete20 million visits was a big milestone. 90 million not even Pinkie celebrated that.
Just gonna say, if you want to drive a wedge in the pony community, politics is a surefire way to do it.
ReplyDeleteTread carefully.
lol, Pinkie.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately no steps were made towards colonizing space. (that I'm aware of, at least)
@James Corck
ReplyDelete"Also, and after checking some of the comments, this will never end.

Quoted for truth.
Every fandom slows down eventually. But this one has become way to huge to die out anytime soon. When the show goes, the fanbase will shrink but allot of us will always have a community, and the content so many of us generated, to keep it going back to for a long time.
Guys,
ReplyDeleteThe brony community is a rich and great one. We have left a huge mark on the internet and I think we are one of the only fandoms that teach peace and tolerance to all. I don't think that people would want to give up such the wonderful thing that is bronyism because of the people that make up it community that follow the show. Look at you all, politely debating about this subject. Us bronies have a decency to us, which I think is unique for the internet (unfortunately) and I think people love the whole MLP package because of it.I for one think that the only time that the brony community will suffer is when the show officially stops airing. Even then, the show will continue to inspire people. People will continue to create comics, fanfiction, music and more and give new love to the show. So I wouldn't worry about the fall of bronyism just yet. In fact, Season 3 has already been confirmed!
Another example; look at the Harry Potter fan community. The final book and films have come out and still people adore it.
I just hope that people continue loving the show and tolerating the neigh sayers. Peace and Love to you all, even the parasprites.
p.s. the cocky part of my name is part of my last name. I hope I don't actually come across as arrogant.

sorry guys, it double posted
ReplyDelete@ThePaintedTarget
ReplyDeleteJoined about the same month you did. I logged on to Equestria Daily to see when the Season 1 DVD was going to be out or if there was going to be one out at all. But after exploring the site, I was amazed to see such great art of the mane 6 (or Princess Celestia or Lyra and Bon Bon), and even the fics too couldn't get enough of the fanfics out there by the fellow bronies out there.
@James Corck
ReplyDeleteMy friend who have said what I should have done. I tried to get rid him by myself but i coudn't really. Glad to others care so deeply for this amazing thing we have. Thank you
Ponies and Bronies will live forever more! :D
ReplyDeleteDamn trolls...
Oooooo a debate, I wanna telle my side of the story =D
ReplyDeleteThat Beergogglezz guy does point out some valid points. But the fandom is definitely not dying yet. I'm interested though by him saying that bronies grew arrogant. This may kinda true. After all, this fandom is not only about a show and the fan's creations. It did change, for some of us, the way we see the world and react to it.
the fact is, most of us are proud to be bronies, and pride hardly ever comes without a slight feeling of superiority.
A lot of people feel they've become better people since they're bronies, but let's always remember that doesn't make us better than others, that only makes us better than our previous selves.
the debate could go on and on, I won't go further, but I'll just say that one thing I know about bronies : we know we can sometimes be wrong ("My Little Pony? That show's for little girls, I'll never watch that!"), but we've learned to get past our errors and learn from them. As long as we remember this, even when the show stops airing, and all fan creation stops, we will still be bronies.
@Pinkie Pie yes you are best pony pinkie pie ;P
ReplyDeleteThis was beyond awesome!
ReplyDeleteWell that was awesome! Yet we are literally going downhill... Hopefully stuff Starts to get better soon!
ReplyDelete@Pinkie Floyd
ReplyDeleteI don't think we are.
Others above have said why.
@Saberspark
ReplyDeleteGaahh it's you! I must catch your attention!
I just want to say Ballad of the Brony was amazing. I've watched it like 5 times.(kind of creepy, I know.)
Me and my friend watched it together and we thought it was amazingly done.
I also showed to to one of my non-brony friends to better understand why I enjoy the show, and it worked.
Thank you so much and I can't wait for Brony Breakdown! :D
If you don't read this, I'll feel like a total idiot. Hahaha
Pinkie Pie with anonymous mask? i approve
ReplyDeleteHate to be the critic here but I actually didn't like it at all. Mainly because alot of the things that happened this year really shouldnt be joked about. I guess i'm just sensitive. Normally I love fanmade pony videos and pony music but I just didn't enjoy watching this.
ReplyDeleteWell, that was kinda cute, amusing and educating. lol I didn't know some of what they were talking about, but ah well. It had ponies and that makes everything fine. :)
ReplyDeleteThe song was okay, voice was meh, hardly understandable, it had pinkie pie, but it wasn't that good, this song doesn't deserve that Pinkie Pie anonymous mask mascot. Just... ugh.
ReplyDelete@Fawfulcopter yeeeeaaahhhh, i can agree with that.....
ReplyDeleteLet's just enjoy the now, shan't we? A quote from Hadgrid: "What will come will come. And we'll have to face it, in the end."
ReplyDeleteIn other words, lets enjoy the present, as it's a gift. That's why it's called a present.
that V mask made me want to punch her in the face.
ReplyDeleteWell done!
ReplyDeleteReally well done, reminds me of the Jib Jab ones.
ReplyDeleteAs a brony who shares political links, even I think Pinkie Pie won't make bronies interested in politics.
ReplyDelete@Sunset Sprinkles Jolly good show! no I'm not British I just like saying that.
ReplyDelete@Beergogglezz
ReplyDeleteYou've kind of got it the wrong way round there, seeing as the end of season 1 heralded the biggest rise in the number of bronies ever.
if i knew that this would ahve happen this yer like (a happy 2010 *.* (this video) mom where fucked)
ReplyDeletethis amused me.... *brohoof*
ReplyDeleteSo i come back the next day.....and I find a shitstorm started AND died down. Nice?
ReplyDeleteThat was pretty cool.
ReplyDelete@Fancy Pant
ReplyDeleteWhat'd I do?
it is a private video now what do?
ReplyDelete
