The Great and Powerful Trixie enjoyed her trip to the far east, and as you foals can see, was loved by everyone. Not only did she convert that disgusting shipping container into something useful, and tamed her greatest nemisis's dragon companion (with her new Chinese mustache magic) , but she also completely upgraded that drab old robe and wizard hat into something much more festive.
Truly a pony of Trixie's caliber cannot be questioned. Even the press is unable to resist her awesomeness. Trixie sees Pixel Kitties snapping a photo right now in fact!
Perhaps one day fillies and colts like yourselves will be on the Great and Powerful Trixie's level, but for now, Equestria is under the rule of one worthy of such a title. Happy Chinese New Year, and enjoy a new banner from aeronjvl to commemorate the occasion.Monday, January 23, 2012 op 2:10 AM

ReplyDeleteEpic!
ReplyDeleteNice. I like Trixies new garb. Good job Pixelkitties.
ReplyDeleteuhh ohh... Derpy in the back seat, with a lit match...
ReplyDeleteI don't know, maybe red and orange doesn't fit Trixie as much as her classic wizard costume, but the design is indeed very pretty, and as always, Spike really seems to enjoy having a moustache.
ReplyDeleteBtw, Derpy I think that's a very dangerous thing to do back there.. I can already hear the "I just don't know what went wrong"
Welcome Back Trixie!
ReplyDeleteOne would tell you that Trixie likes Twilight a little too much. (She didn't bother to bridle her.)
ReplyDeleteALso Chinese fireworks were the first explosive missile type weapons invented, also used for recreation like they are nowadays. (Trixie uses to many fireworks in her act, also the four dragon centered episodes aired nicely fitting the years theme.)
Is Trixie choosing to address Twilight as "Sparkle" fan cannon?
ReplyDeleteKung Hei Fat Choi from Hong Kong! Happy Chinese New Year!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Trixie, I'm sure they loved you over there. Spike's moustache is moustachey.
ReplyDeleteHa! There's a 'western' Chinese new year? What's next, British 4th of July?
ReplyDeleteFOREVER TRIXIE
ReplyDeletelol Love that picture! Spike's Chinese mustache is amazing, and Trixie looks damn good in that red hat and robe.
ReplyDeleteHappy Chinese new year!
Not gonna lie, when I read "Trixie has Returned!", I thought she had appeared in a screenshot or a sneak peek of a later episode.
ReplyDeleteHeart calming down...
News realized...
Really loving that banner, and I'm so glad the Hub is doing a Spike-a-thon in honor of the year of the dragon.
ReplyDeleteAnd thus, Seth was happy once again.
ReplyDeleteOn a note not related to this post at all...
ReplyDeleteIn Canada the treehouse network is airing winter wrap up at 3:30 AM mountain time
I won't lie, this is probably the first and last time I will ever see "Trixie" "loved" and "shipping" in the same paragraph that is not related to a shipfic.
ReplyDeleteDerpy. In a wagon full of explosives.
ReplyDeleteIt was an honor lurking on EQD with you, Gentlecolts.
@Flutterfan
ReplyDeleteThe little guy deserved some attention from The Hub. And he's my favorite from the show.

Anyway, the image here really cracked me up. Spike's moustache looks great on him, loved seeing Derpy in the back, Trixie looks great with that outfit she's wearing, and Poor Twilight. She doesn't look too cheerful. Hee hee.
I'm also digging the Spike banner I see right now. I was hoping to see something related to The Year of the Dragon. :)
To Trixie's front: A unicorn able to do many feats of magic, including setting things (such as herself) on fire.
ReplyDeleteTo Trixie's left: A dragon, a creature that can breath fire.
To Trixie's rear: A pegasus with known klutz tendencies and a lit match. And a large pile of objects waiting for some flame so they can explode in a pretty and entertaining fashion.
This... this isn't going to end well for our favorite Great and Powerful Pony, is it?
Nothing can keep Trixie down! She shall vanquish all who oppose her!
ReplyDeletepfft i took down an entire Empire can your Trixie boast that
ReplyDeleteHey Trixie, is it true you once drank a hay smoothie off a young colt's flank?
ReplyDeleteGo away, Trixie. We all hate you
ReplyDelete啊啊啊啊啊啊,Spike怎麼能這麼萌!還有Trixie,讓這個龍年20% cooler,大家,龍年吉祥!
ReplyDeleteHappy Chinese New Year, EqD! I'm so glad you guys have chosen to go with this festive theme even though none of you actually celebrate it. It's a really huge occasion where I live, where families and relatives get together to catch up on old times and for the young'uns to collect red packets from married couples and for me to play Mahjong with my red packet money to win even more money! Also to everybody else celebrating this prosperous occasion, 恭喜发财,万事如意!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome image that is. Clearly Trixie is quite fashionable as well in her pretty festive new attire. <3
ReplyDeleteHappy Chinese New Year!
Let the broken Chinese words commence. ;)
@Mcgillicuddy That has to be the worst Chinese I've ever seen
ReplyDeleteHaha, I think Mcgilli was trying to pull off a 俺の妹はこんなにかわいいわけがない, except in Chinese.
ReplyDeleteSomehow I think "我的Spike哪有这么可爱" would sound better. Yes that is terrible Chinese indeed.
DERPY'S GOT A MATCH! RUN!
ReplyDeletelol
@Bufflord Still not perfect but it might just be the translator I'm using. Still made lot more sense than what Mcgilli said
ReplyDeleteThat's really nice picture actually.
ReplyDelete新年快乐!
Do you know what's fun?
ReplyDeleteTranslating English to Chinese and back again.
Colloquial Chinese is a very hard thing to directly translate into English by means of online translator. Basically it's saying, "My Spike can't be this cute!"
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Trixie! Seth has missed you ;)
ReplyDeleteEpic banner and picture, but who would allow Derpy in the back with explosives and a match O_O
@Bufflord
ReplyDeleteNow I've seen people HERE celebrating Chinese New Year and one person who types Chinese characters, thank you guys, finally,I can die happily XD
@20% cooler
ReplyDeleteTerriblely sorry man,but Im a local Chinese XD
Everyone, Get the fuck down! She's gonna blow!
ReplyDeleteI'm lovin' that new getup.
ReplyDeleteCan everyone please stop obsessing over Trixie? She's a horrible pony!
ReplyDeleteHow'd you guys know it was my birthday? :D
ReplyDeleteTrixie: Do I smell something burning?
ReplyDelete*Turns around*
Derpy no!
*Boom*
Me: DERPY NOOOOOOOO... (inturepted by explosion)
ReplyDeleteDerpy: Whoops my bad.
Me: Oh Derpy
Glad she's back.
ReplyDeleteHappy Chinese new year every pony
That looks like a RATHER awesome pictur- OH MY GOD WHAT IS DERPY DOING WITH THAT MATCH?
ReplyDelete@cousin it ... *Hides balloons*
ReplyDeleteThis will not end well for anypony involved.
ReplyDeleteI will be in my bunker.
Derpy + fireworks. Can only end well. :D
ReplyDeleteTrixie even has an epic steed I see to ride her back from the air port with style. you can clearly see just how happy Twilight is at The Great and Powerful Trixie's return has made her!
ReplyDeleteAll hail our Sovereign Queen, The Great and Powerful TRIXIE!! *suddenly fireworks EVERYWHERE!*
Derpy: I'm sorry, I don't know how that could of happened.
much groans and grunts from Twilight, Trixie. Spike was pretty much OK. Thick scales and all that :P
She's back and as smug and pompous as ever. XD
ReplyDelete@Mcgillicuddy
ReplyDeleteA Chinese brony too? Oh god, I think I'm flying in happiness.
derpy has a match...*gets into cover*
ReplyDeleteDO IT, DERPY!
ReplyDeleteDO IT, AND KILL THE ARROGANT OLD JACKASS!
My only reaction to the posted image is this:

Sorry for the sketchiness, but I just scribbled it together before the beautiful scene escaped my mind. :)
@Sean Mirrsen
ReplyDeleteTHAT...is pretty spectacular! WOW!
WE WANT DERPY BACK AND WE WANT HER RITE NAO!!!!!!1
ReplyDeleteTrixie? Come on Seth, you're tearing us apart!
@pixelkittiesThanks! I'm no good with vectors, so if you want to, you can use it for a follow-up. It'll take me way too long to actually complete it. 'sides, it'll only be fitting for the follow-up to be in your style as well. Great work on the Chinese designs on Trixie's outfit, btw.
ReplyDeleteThere NEEDS to be another Trixie episode.
ReplyDeletePipe down, choir boy. It's year of the DRAGON, not year of the bitch.
ReplyDeleteWoke up early today to do 8 hours of lion dancing.
ReplyDeleteThis image pleases me and allows me to start my day with zest.
Native Chinese bronies, unite!
ReplyDelete@Cracky I love lion dances! I've seen a local troupe over here do a shuffling routine before complete with LMFAO music, it's super awesome. Where're you from bro?
Trixie go boom in three... two... one.
ReplyDeleteYay, Trixie's back ^^
ReplyDeleteHmp. At least the banner is trixie free.
ReplyDeleteAaugh, do people STILL hate on Trixie?
ReplyDeleteCome on, she's awesome.
Happy Chinese New Year :)
Finally you're back
ReplyDeleteI LOVE TRIXIE
Okay, so I'm late. REALLY late. Why was Trixie in the far East, and just WHAT did I miss? :?

Yes, I absolutely suck at backgrounds.
See. That title was just mean.... I thought you were going to tell us she's back in one of the upcoming episodes...
ReplyDelete@Fenris730
ReplyDeleteNow now. She might still come back. Let's not squash Seth's hopes for a season two Trixie.
@Tudor Pangal
ReplyDeleteOpinion
It is yours
Send Trixie To Australia next time I'll show her how we Aussie's party on the weekend
ReplyDeleteOhgodDerpyhasexplosivesrunforyourlives.
