Guys, I think I have officially moved on to Scootaloo is best pony. No pegasus comes anywhere near her amazing hang gliding ability. I take back anything mean I ever said about the CMC.
I'll stop boring you with her praises. Go play some My little Hang Glider. Scootaloo deserves your attention, I have a new religion to found.

ReplyDeleteCongrats. You deserve it.
ReplyDeleteSETHISTO, HOW COULD YOU?!?!
ReplyDeleteTrixie, come back from China, you are being forgotten!
Could you please post a link to the game?
ReplyDeletei apologize

ReplyDelete@Lord Elliott Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOoh hang gliding and Scootaloo :D Link, please? :)
ReplyDeleteI knew signing all my emails "-Scootaloo is best pony" would eventually turn you!
ReplyDeleteI just googled it. It's pretty fun, and controls smoothly. Would probably be even more fun if I wasn't using a touchpad, something the creator specifically advises against. :P
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the links guys :) Much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteWhat the eff, can't get through Ghastly Gorge. xD
ReplyDeleteSCOOTALOO is best pony.
ReplyDeletemaybr she'll get a round-up, finally.
Cool music though.
ReplyDeleteSeth, y u so bipolar on your best pony

Ghastly Gourge is bucking impossible...
@Michael Butcher
ReplyDeleteactually he's tripolar now O_O
trixie/twilight/scoot
Kind of tricky playing with a touchpad. I'd fire up my desktop, but I'm too lazy to do that.
ReplyDeleteTHIS GAME IS ADDICTING
ReplyDeleteHere's the LINK TO THE GAME.
ReplyDeleteWow, this game is amazing. Scoots might be my new favorite CMC now. Sorry, Applebloom XD.
ReplyDeleteThe game's sound track is so soothing~
ReplyDeleteThis game is nostalgic for some reason, and me makes me have a sort of feeling. A sort of lightness, that everything is going to turn out for the better.
It's called happiness.
Whatever it is, I like it.

Like it! :D
@Lord Elliot
ReplyDeleteHere's an embed just for convenience
You know, at this rate Scoot's cutie mark will be a crutch and a bandage.
ReplyDeletethanks Bombedrumbum. I am also ok with Scootaloo as best pony.
ReplyDeletehurray
ReplyDelete@Bombedrumbum
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'll just let you embed all my links. :P (I'm clearly to lazy to, lol)
@CityFlyer502 Haha I guess I'm not the only one too lazy to get a mouse :) Still fun though!
ReplyDelete@Lord Elliott With pleasure!!
ReplyDelete@Bombedrumbum LOL @ Vid. xD

ReplyDeleteLink for those wanting to play
This game...was amazing. I wish it was longer.
ReplyDelete@jib well, alrighty then
ReplyDelete@Blaze52 It's not that I'm too lazy to get one. I just don't see a need to have one. I have a desktop that I can just flip on, but I've got my laptop right in front of me, so it's like why bother.
ReplyDelete@CityFlyer502 i'm playing it with my phone. A PHONE.
ReplyDeleteYES! I BEAT IT WITH A TOUCHPAD!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteJust beat it. YES.
ReplyDeleteGastly G. is easy. SONIC RAINBOOM IS DEATH WITH COLORS.
And poni with shades are always best poni.
@CityFlyer502
ReplyDeleteThe original maker does say that it would be hard to play with a touch pad.
"Colorful equines warning 9_6
Also, playing with a touchpad may casue severe frustration!
Special thanks to SoarinFlight for the music! [link]
I was playing Astroflyer too much. Never got past the 8th level =( Go and check that game, it's amazing [link]
I wandered if I can write a script for a pseudo-3d game. Not everything is perfect, but it's a start.
Seriously, several days old Pound Cake can fly better than Scoots?! Well, not anymore!
Let's see whether you are agile enough to become the best flyer in Equestria!"
Btw, I always enjoy your comments, City.
@Bombedrumbum
ReplyDeleteA phone? omg lol
@Lord Elliot
ReplyDeleteI enjoy all the comments!!
no, seriously
Reminds me of PilotWings in a way.
ReplyDeleteGhastly Gorge was the hardest part... finding the hole in the third bramble. The rest was gravy.
Rainboom was tough, but not THAT tough...
Actually, it's impossible to play on an HP Touchpad. Great, now I have to find a computer...
ReplyDeleteIt's possible for a phone. Just really really hard.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful game with great controls. Problem is I feel like I'm flying blind, unable to tell how close objects are. If we could port this to the 3DS, that would solve that problem right away.
ReplyDeleteOmg, Spider Pig reference:
ReplyDelete"Scootaloo, Scootaloo,
Does whatever Scootallo does!
Can she fly in the sky?
No she can't - she's Derpy Scoots"
xD
inb4 link
ReplyDelete@a_mac_a
ReplyDeleteUmm......no
@Bombedrumbum
ReplyDeleteI wasnt going to comment on this game, but its good
also I found this thru the link you posted Bombe
it made me Rotfl
The collision feels really, really off.
ReplyDeleteWay too unforgiving. Half my wipeouts I hit nothing but thin air.
Smaller hitboxes!

ReplyDelete@Discord that is the single most funny thing I have seen all year.
ReplyDeleteTHIS. FUCKING. GAME.
ReplyDeleteAfter FINALLY beating Sonic Rainboom after God knows how many tries, never again.
Just...
Never again...
The link gives me a 404 error...
ReplyDelete@Bombedrumbum
ReplyDeleteBOOT TO THE HEAD! is 20% cooler than arrow to the knee
404 error Seth
ReplyDeleteThe link in the description is broken because there is a space at the end of the url.... LMAO xD
ReplyDeleteWell, at least Seth tried to fix the no link problem.
ReplyDelete@Discord oh, way more than 20%zz
ReplyDeleteWoot! beat it, though I wish it was longer for it was awesome
ReplyDelete@Discord And, in turn, I found this one.
ReplyDeleteFinally got a 62, so I'm happy. Fun little game. Needs more levels.
ReplyDeleteBest Phoenix Wright videos start here:
ReplyDeleteI made an actual link this time >_>
@Bombedrumbum
ReplyDeleteGah, stop finding all the Phoenix Wright parodies, It had taken me too long to forget about them.
As for the game it's really fun but I shall ned try try again when my desktop works as it's nigh impossible with this mousepad.
Dammit, why must this 404 before I get to play it?
ReplyDeleteIt feels... not sure if too sensitive or sluggish. But dang is she rather hard to control in small spaces. And I noticed the obstacles are really sensitive. Several times I crash when I didn't actually hit them. My roomies looking over my shoulder made this way more than apparent.
ReplyDelete@Lord Elliot
ReplyDelete@Celestia
How about an epic dual game trailer!!
@Bombedrumbum
ReplyDeleteI...I will concede, that is epic, I like the background music at the beginning.
Although all I could think about was this.
Reminded me alot of Starfox 64. Cloudsdale being Corneria, Ghastly Gorge that level where you fly above the sea and the sea serpent occasionally surfaces and sonic rainboom the tunnel escape part.
ReplyDelete@Celestia
ReplyDeleteThis is so off topic now. xD lol
@Lord Elliot indeed
ReplyDeleteer, should be fixed!
ReplyDelete@Sethisto that'll do, Seth, that'll have to do....
ReplyDeleteway too hard....
ReplyDeleteI have now given it a go sans mousepad and come to a conclusion. I am just awful at this, nonetheless I shall keep trying. It's fun little game overall.
ReplyDeleteGhastly Gorge kicked my ass on those brambles, then Sonic Rainboom kept destroying me when it came to the star-shaped yellow-orange-red section. A lot to do with somewhat shaky hit detection and lack of way to really tell any depth perception.
ReplyDeleteBut this game was still a fun little diversion to play. Reminded me of Pilotwings. And yes, Scoots is best hang glider.
I had to keep on reminding myself that this was a fan production, and not something somebody was expecting me to hand over $5 to play.
ReplyDeleteCloudsdale was fun if a tad easy, Ghastly Gorge was a major pain (those brambles! Ugh!) and the Sonic Rainboom was actually fairly well balanced (while it took me a good seven or eight tries, I got farther through that last stage every time).
I might have given up on the game after crashing into the brambles in Ghastly Gorge for what felt like the thirtieth time, but the music is so perfect, and the level matches the locale from the show to a T, that I didn't mind too much (plus the feeling of satisfaction when I FINALLY made it past them... only to be so filled with panic when the Quarry Eels started popping out; I so did NOT want to go through those brambles again!)
To those who have managed to get all of the golden apples; my hat is off to you. I'm just happy to have been able to make it through to the end. Also, I'd love for the ability to play something like this on a 'free fly' mode: NO apples to collect, no major obstacles to dodge, just the chance to glide around the MLP:FiM countryside with Scootaloo with that wonderful song playing.
Beautiful game, but marred by unfair difficulty.
ReplyDeleteTry to flay the fast speed on. I got trough 2/3's of the Sonic Rainboom hard part, went on about half an hour with it on before slowing. Good times.
ReplyDeleteReally wonderful and addicting game, though as the creator said "Also, playing with a touchpad may cause severe frustration!" It did.
ReplyDeletethe game is fundamentally broken at the thorny vines part just after the tunnel in Ghastly Gorge. How am I suppose to pass the third thorny vine?

ReplyDeleteDid anypony else notice she flies through the rainbow factory? Anypony?
ReplyDeleteSome one right now needs to make a fanfic about Scootaloo wanting to fly but she cant, then she goes to RD for help and she says that she is too young for flight but suggests going to twilight for help, after she goes twilight cant help her but has the idea of building the hang glider for her to use her wings to propel it.
ReplyDeleteThat would be one heck of a fanfic
Amazing game with beautiful background music! But like others have said: sometimes the difficulty is too high. After a 30-35 tries I was able to clear those thorns in Ghastly Gorge (hint: the passage is always near the apples), but that star-shaped corridor in Sonic Rainboom really got to me. The tune in the background is very addicting and it kept me going for a while, but at the end I gave up. Such a pity, I wanted to see the ending so much...
ReplyDeleteAwww Scootaloo is with Applejack my favorite pony c:
ReplyDeleteI do hope to see an episode for her *w*
How in the flying figs are flamingos supposed to flaming fly through the third, fun-hating freak of thorn bushes without failing?
ReplyDeleteThe hitboxes are horrible.
Finally beat it. Never again am I binding my pride in a contract with that game, I just barely managed to win it back by trying over 30 times to win and finally succeeding
ReplyDeleteGod I love that music. I remember when it was first posted. NEEDS MORE VIEWS!
ReplyDeleteAlso this is a very fun little game, Scoots is best filly bar none.
Nice concept, awesome background music, pretty visuals... and iffy hitbox detection. If they'd fix the hitbox problems and maybe make it so you could actually see all the dang thorns in the gorge and the walls in the rainboom tunnel, this would be great. As it is, I beat it once and am not gonna bother with it again.
ReplyDelete28/62 sweet XD
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteThe trick with the thorns part seems to be not to aim for the holes in the bushes, but trace a flight path between the apples.
ReplyDeleteKeep in mind that as soon as you're out of the underbrush you'll have hydra heads coming out the left wall, but you can see where they're coming from.
After you've gotten past those, you'll enter the Sonic Rainboom map, which is a spiraling tunnel that then switches to a left-right-left-right-ish procedure until you're in the free; this is where you'll find the last bushel of apples. Good luck catching them all.
Needs smaller collision boxes, and a better angle on Scootaloo, and better color contrast in the rainboom and the star-shaped corridor REALLY needs to be adjusted. But it's still really fun and the music is awesome, 7/10
ReplyDeleteYAY!!! for scootaloo!
ReplyDeleteFinally made it through after a gazillion crashes at that last swervy star rainboom bit. Scootaloo gets the prize she really wants, it was so satisfying to beat that a shouted aloud gleefully. Don't give up!
