Ole-M Fully translated a Norweigian pony activity book, and uploaded it all to a picture gallery site. Get your printer going, and go play with pony! It might not be difficult, but maybe you can entertain yourselves for an afternoon with these?
The fully book can be found
here.

that reminds me there should be a pinkie pie popup book
ReplyDeleteI think he means the filly book.
ReplyDeleteIs...
ReplyDeleteIs that a new vector on the cover?
Guess I should go fire up the printer. My little sister's gonna flip when she sees this. =D
ReplyDeleteTHE FULLY BOOK
ReplyDelete@Advance
ReplyDeletei think he means the full book...
Why does Pinkie have Fluttershy's eyes?
ReplyDeleteJust read the text, it's all corectly translated. The only mistakes are in the Norwegian version, Pinkey Pie, not translating the "Princess" part of princess Celestia, and same with Spike the Dragon. Silly Norwegian authors.
ReplyDeletepage 26. masked ball pinkie!
ReplyDeletehe accidentally fully the book
ReplyDeletePinkie's pointing at the answer on page 6.
ReplyDeleteDang it, Norwegians. Why you so awesome?
ReplyDeletebut where's page 32?! ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm glad we Norwegians did *something* right, seeing as we failed so badly when it came to our dub of the cartoon itself. I'm not very proud of that.
ReplyDeleteNorwegian authors! Y U NO translate the names of the ponies?!

ReplyDeleteMy hovercraft is full of eels.
ReplyDeleteMy hovercraft is full of eels.
ReplyDeleteNorsk oversettelse. Kunne vært 20% kulere.
ReplyDeleteNorwegian overwright. Cod be 20% cooler.
no offens for my own mother languages. English is best compere to another languages.
ReplyDelete@Fenris
ReplyDeleteYou should hear the Swedish one. Sadly, it is even worse.
Kjære Ole-M, vil du være min brony?
ReplyDeleteHilsen anonym pegasis.
Look at page 29: Pinkie has a secret fan.
ReplyDeleteAnd there's some Cherliee, that's cool.
Haha, Norwegians ^^,
ReplyDeleteOnly skimmed the pages, but it actually doesn't look too bad compared to many pony activity books. At least I didn't see the silly double forehead Twilight vector anywhere. lol
ReplyDeletei m Norwegian but i m not getting one of these... there are some things that are still gonna remain for little girls. it's just the tv show i like.

ReplyDeletePage 08 Pinkey Pie????? (Instead of Pinkie Pie)
ReplyDeleteThe front page sparkles. I like that. Teaching kids to write «Pinkie Pie» as «Pinkey Pie» is not cool. And this book is way too expensive. ~8€ and not even a poster inside?
ReplyDeleteAnd now, Norwegian pony names.

ReplyDeleteMe fail English? Nah.
Comment on page 4: I believe the English phrase you're looking for is "trace," not "line up." "Line up" in English means, "place these objects in a row." ;)
ReplyDeletePinkie Pie! Y U HAVE FLUTTEREYES?
ReplyDelete@Ule
ReplyDeleteJeg er smigret, men vi kjenner ikke hverandre godt nok for slike ting enda. :<
Pfft. The activities were easy as fuck. Try making it more challenging next time, Hasbro.
ReplyDelete@Jimmy James haha, you sure told'em X)
ReplyDeleteI just (as in earlier tonight) shipped such an activity book, in Swedish, to my sorta-niece. I didn't think that it could be of interest here. If I did I would have scanned it and translated it.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't the same but some pictures were. It was slightly more advanced, with word puzzles - of which some where not translated from English! Apparently they expect little Swedish girls to be proficient early on in foreign languages.
Just like the Norwegian book the publishers missed to translate "Princess" and "the Dragon".
The "color by number"-activity is of Princess Celestia and by the number 1 (body color) it says "Ljusrosa" - Light pink...
---
... what? I didn't look THAT thoroughly! I'm not that deeply into Ponydom... am I?
Oh, Godess...
Their names would most likely be something like this if translated...
ReplyDeleteSkumrings Gnisten
Epleknekt
Sjeldenhet
Rosa Pai
Flagresky
Regnbue Spurt
...but they're not!! They are still called the same here in Norway as they are in English!
Yay for Scandinavian Bronies!
ReplyDelete"Puts on hipster glasses" I got this before it got known on the web
