It has been a little less than a week since Derpy Hooves became an official pony. Everyone working on the show did us a huge favor. Derpy was our first official link, and to see it strengthened to such an epic level obviously made some people happy!
There have been a few complaints about her from various sections of the internet, but overall the response is largely positive.
So I propose a thank you post to all the hard working people over at DHX, The Hub, Hasbro, and Topdraw, who changed Derpy from an animation error in the first episode, to a fully fledged background character. Even if this was just a oneshot, I think the majority of us love you guys for it.

Celestia bless that Derpy Hooves
ReplyDeleteThank you :D
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Hasbro, Hub, anypony else who contributed to Derpy's being.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU! -:D
ReplyDeleteHERE HERE!
ReplyDelete*raises his glass*
TO THE HUB, HASBRO, AND STUDIO B!
We love you guys!

ReplyDeletea few complaints? more like hate mail. complaints are generally constructive criticism, otherwise it is just hate mail.
ReplyDeleteThank ya kindly!
ReplyDelete"animation error" That's your opinion on what happened initially and you're entitled to it. :P :)
ReplyDeleteHere come SO MANY MUCH THANKS!
Thank you. <3
STUDIO B!!!!! <33333
ReplyDeleteA hearty round of applause from the hooves of bronies everywhere in the world. Thanks for showing you are always listening to us.
ReplyDeleteSure, Tabitha mistakenly voiced her as male, but she still managed to make her sound adorable in the end.
ReplyDeleteDERPY RULES!! /(^3^)\
Thank you, all of you!!
Derpy was such a wonderful surprise. Her appearance was the kind of thing I hoped for, but never expected to really happen. My thanks go to everyone who works on the show/Hasbro, y'all are great.
ReplyDeleteNever before have I seen such a devoted group of people working on a show. On top of that, they have a connection with the fan community that I never thought was possible. All you guys working on the show are truly amazing.
ReplyDeleteCanonized? Couldn't you just say official. So much sigh today. Also, Seth, you should really let the whole Derpy thing calm down. EqD already been Derpy spammed to death.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much HUB, HASBRO and STUDIO B! :D
ReplyDeleteNothing shoving, like muffin loving.
ReplyDeleteThe Muffin Queen is given to us to bask in her effervescent presence.
Hail she did speak the words "are you okay Rainbow Dash" and thus she was loved for caring about others and eating muffins.
@GreatAndMightyChampion
ReplyDeleteYou are right, official does sound better!
YES! Thank you SO MUCH The Hub!
ReplyDeleteTo the creators of the best animated show on TV from the best damn fandom on the planet: Thank you. It's hard to express in words how much this gesture affirms us Bronies as a fanbase. So few other fandoms have ever gotten such a nod from the show or movie they love so dearly. We are all honored, grateful and humbled by this. So though words may not truly suffice to express our gratitude, I nonetheless say thank you again and we all look forward eagerly to whatever else this season has in store for Twilight Sparkle and her friends.
ReplyDeleteI support the thank you post!
ReplyDeleteThanks a bunch guys for making Derpy an oficial character. Regardless of what others say, it's just opinion, so it's as harmless as that. I personally loved it, and it shows how much you guys take us into account. Thanks a bunch for this.
Thanks to everyone working on FiM! Twas the day the internet exploded, twice.

ReplyDeleteI can't help but feel so thankful for all the hard backbreaking work they put themselves through to make such an awesome show. It just makes me love them for doing what they do. It also makes me feel sad that it sadly has to end at some point, but whenever that time comes, I will be forever thankful for them giving me some of the most awesome times I ever had watching a cartoon. And them putting Derpy in there pretty much just made me want to go up to them and kiss them or something, because recognizing us like that was like the coolest thing ever.
ReplyDeleteDon't let the haters get to you guys. Just keep being awesome!
ReplyDeleteTired of seeing all this muffin crap. I think it would make more sense if she was obsessed with bubbles.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone involved. Thank you for the voice, Tabitha, Derpy sounded fine in spite of the confusion on gender, and thank you Amy Keating Rogers for handling it so well in the face of the parasprites who couldn't take an appreciative nod to the fandom well.
ReplyDeleteThank you of course as well to everyone else with Hasbro/The Hub/Studio B who helped cultivate her from an 'animation mistake' to a full blown nod to the fandom.
I don't like how some people are like "oh no Derpy's portrayal makes fun of people with disabilities"
ReplyDeleteCome on, look at other cartoon characters like Patrick from Spongebob, or Ed from Ed, Edd, & Eddy, or Ren & Stimpy in general. They act so much dumber than Derpy, and yet everyone was cool with them.
Derpy's fine, leave her alone.
Beautiful, I can honestly say this I'd the first time I have seen a fandom influence anything to this level.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for giving this wonderful community such an amazing shout out.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Studio B =D We <3 you too ^_^
ReplyDelete@Jonathan
ReplyDeleteA good ninety percent is built of love and tolerance. We like the creators and the people who work hard to make it E for Everyone as litterally as possible.
@Luca
ReplyDeleteI think the bubbles represent her "Bubbly" or silly behavior.
It's time that the quiet but thankful majority has its say, too.
ReplyDeleteEven though we might have calmed down a little we still love the show and are thankful for the hard work everybody around (ok, mostly under :P) Jayson does. They are doing an awesome job and I would name all of them if I knew them all (only know 15 by heart, sorry :( ).
If we shut up, all they'll read about is how every single new scene and character line RUINED THE SHOW FOREVER, just because this always-hating minority is so vocal and rude.
Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, two words have infinite meaning.
To those who work on the show who should happen onto it.
ReplyDeleteDerpy has been synonimous with this series' fandom for as long as I could remember. As much as I tried not to use the name Derpy in favor of the supposed real name of Ditzy Doo due to my stance on the LOL aspect of the internet, but it became more than that and I kept using it opposed to Ditzy Doo.
Derpy has had a number of fan created personalities in that time. A total retard. A loveable klutz. Mother of one. Mother of TWO. Friend to a time and universe traveling pony parody. The list goes on and on.
What happened on January 21st, 2012 was perhaps the most shocking thing to ever happen to me not just as a fan of this show, but in the entire history of fandom. Characters like Harley Quinn and Livewire became officially wrapped into the DC mythos after their creation. But you guys. You guys went and made Derpy really real after we went and made her such a staple part of the fandom.
And what did she do to deserve this? Have googly eyes in the background.
It's truly an amazing thing. The fact that she was officially named "Derpy". The fact that she actually had a voice. The fact that she had a scene. The fact that Tabitha St. Germain voices her. It was so much unbelievable awesomeness wrapped into a three minute span. Nothing life could throw at me could remove the smile from my face that day.
And trust me. Life threw a lot at me that day.
So, as a fan of this truly amazing show that has surprisingly changed the lifes of so many and how we all see candy colored ponies these days, I wanna say thank you. Even if Derpy is regulated back to the Waldo of the show. Even if she never speaks again. Even if we never see her again. Derpy had her moment in the sun.
And it was glorious.
Thank you all so much! We don't just love the show, we love all of you for the hard work and heart you put into it. YOU make our lives happier week by week!
ReplyDelete<33333 yeah thanks studio B :D
ReplyDeleteDerpy is <3
ReplyDelete<3 for Derpy.
<3 <3 <3
Tell it, preacher!
ReplyDeleteI am in so much love with this show and with Derpy right now. The Last Roundup was basically the best Saturday of my entire life, and I would love so much to tell everyone involved how wonderful a job they did and how much this shout-out meant to me.
ReplyDeleteThankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou and repeat this for something a long the lines of 'the rest of eternity.'
ReplyDeleteI still can't believe they did that. Derpy shall live in our hearts forever <3
ReplyDelete*sniff*
I LOVE YOU BRONIES
My Little Pony is the greatest show in existence. Not necessarily because of actual show goodness; while the show in and of itself is epic, there is probably a better show somewhere. (Not that I'm saying the show isn't awesome; it is.)
ReplyDeleteBut this show has changed so many lives and so many people that it deserves more merits for that alone. I used to just play video games in my free time and listen to no music, but because of MLP:FiM, I started writing, practicing the piano, realized what real music really was and stopped playing video games as much.
I cannot thank you enough, and I bet others can't either.
It really is amazing when you think about it. Though it's hard to pinpoint what IS amazing. The fact that the fandom had an effect on the show? The fact that the guys making the show acknowledge the fandom? Both?
ReplyDeleteOr even, the fact that the writers managed to write Derpy into the episode, in a way that didn't make it seem forced.
That just goes to show how good the team behind FiM are to us, and at their jobs. So yeah, way to go everyone involved!
Also thank you Seth, for mentioning that there have been complaints , without being condescending towards those who did.
THANK YOU! Also, I got a hate comment on YouTube 'cause of this...
ReplyDeleteHere here! It warms the heart, knowing they listen, at least for harmless fun such as this.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Hasbro. Thank You, Studio B. Thank you, Hub. Thank you, everyone who works on the show.
ReplyDeleteMan, I can't believe it's already the one-week anniversary of Derpy Hooves' first skit in the show. It feels like... well... A week since then. Good times.
ReplyDeleteHip hip...
ReplyDeleteHURRAY!
All Hail The Muffin Princess!
ReplyDeleteStill haven't seen any kind of hate for it, hope it stays that way.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone who works on the show, your the best.
Thank you so much. How amazing is it that a show's creators are so understanding of the fans!
ReplyDeleteThank you studio B, Thank Hasbro, Thank you Hub and everyone else who makes this show possible!
ReplyDeleteThanks to all those that make this show. You guys are the best ever! *brohoof*
ReplyDeleteAlthough you can firmly place me on the side of, "Not sure if I like Derpy" side of things.
ReplyDeleteI do have to say, thank you, for recognizing the fandom. Even though I personally don't like the character, I have to admit it is a cool thing that happened.
I'm celebrating by watching "The Last Roundup" again. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Amy Keating Rogers, for writing Derpy's delightful debut scene!
Thank you, Tabitha St. Germain, for giving her a voice! In thinking she was a boy, you gave her the perfect voice, adorable, different, and created by mistake, perfect for Derpy.
Thank you, Sibsy and Nicole, for boarding the episode, and thank you, animators, for bringing those storyboards to life!
Thank you, Jayson, Wootie, and the rest of Studio B for your efforts in bringing this about!
And thanks to the Hub and Hasbro for greenlighting her scene!
I pretty much went super saiyan when she was made official.
ReplyDeleteThanks to all those that make this show. You guys are the best ever! *brohoof*
ReplyDeletePraise be to Derp!

ReplyDelete@Sethisto I think 'canonized' sounds way better than 'official' but the word has strong ecclesiastical connotations for me. And while I would gladly accept Saint Derpy as the Patron Saint of Derp, saints are generally dead and we certainly can't have that.
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone at the show, for all your hard work and dedication. You've created something that makes a lot of people, of all ages, genders and backgrounds, very very happy. x
ReplyDelete(Note to self: proof read posts first x3)
Come to think of it, if they hadn't had the Derpy scene and just had Town Hall be destroyed with no explanation (similar to how Big Mac was injured in Applebuck Season), I can imagine what actually did happen with Derpy being one of the fan comics made to explain it.
ReplyDelete=)
ReplyDeleteFaith in EQD restored completely!
Hey DHX studio guys! Especially you Steph! Thank you very much, you made us very happy that day and it was something remarkable in the history of TV.
Hasbro, what can I say, in the end it all reduces to the fact that this is just a show to sell toys but, honestly? With all the things you've given us? I can't but feel that you guys do care about us in a more transcendental way than just clients, but as fans. Thank you for everything!
The Hub! Oh how it pains me to be in Spain and not to have your channel available, I would buy a subscription to it just for the sake of contributing to the cause!
Topdraw, you guys are amazing, I'm so glad that thanks to you everything goes more smoothly, the improves in the animation are clear and without you the show could not have evolved so much! Thank you very much.
And of course to EQD, for being there bringing the last minute news to everyone! And especially, and quite personally, for this. I did not expect that you guys would have done this, as a fan this is the reason why I like to call myself a brony.
This brilliant community!
Al, your Pal!
Derpy is best pony forever. You got a problem with muffins?
ReplyDeleteThank you, all of you, who have been major components in the creation of the best fandom I have ever been a part of. I'm not sure when my heart gave out more, when Fluttershy stared down the dragon, or when Derpy was...Derpy. Luckily, I don't have to choose with this show.
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much for encouraging and supporting us, and keep making stuff awesome.
Here here! I second this! Thank you so much for respecting and loving the fans :)
ReplyDeleteWe love Derpy, and we love all you amazing hard working artists!
Thank you, Team Pony. I bet people involved were saying "they are going to **** themselves when they see this!" I for one was happy to put on new underwear.
ReplyDeleteI would like to say a very sincere thank you to every single person who works on Friendship is Magic. I believe I speak for most of us when I say that we Bronies truly appreciate this show and its positive message. It has changed many lives, including my own, for the better. The inclusion of Derpy as an official character affirms that you are listening to us, you do care what we have to say. Derpy's presence was a thank you to the Brony community, and we certainly embrace it. Just be aware that no matter what you do, there will always be naysayers and contrarians who seek to undermine your efforts. You must not let them get to you. Continue your amazing work and know that we appreciate everything you do.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Love is not blind, It's cross-eyed! Thanks everypony working on this show for showing some love to your fans. You can see how much we all appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteI need to watch The Last Roundup again...
ReplyDeleteI think I read in one of these comments say that Derpy Talking was, "Shocking"?
LOL! (She was on a lightning cloud while talking :D)
Muffins for breakfast tomorrow morning, that's for sure. If anyone from the show happens to read this, thank you. Everything I could have wanted to say has been said already, so I'll just leave it at this: this show has taught me that anything can have merit, and it has reaffirmed my lifelong belief that animation is an ageless medium, not just for kids.
ReplyDeleteThank you to everyone responsible for bringing Derpy to life. Muffins all around!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I just adored that scene. Much thanks to everyone involved in making it happen... It may have been a fairly minor bit of happiness, but I'll take all I can get these days. Plus it still makes me smile thinking about it now. That's worth something.
ReplyDeleteMy fondest memory of the day, aside from the obvious, was seeing the reaction vid in the EQD post where you could practically hear everyone's head exploding. Twice.
ReplyDeleteThank you Studio B, that scene made me so unbelievably happy!
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for Derpy; she's awesome and so are you :)
ReplyDeleteThank you to all the folks on te staff at Studio B, DHX, Top Draw, Hasbro for being awesome as always! It is always a joy to watch the new episode, Derpy was an amazing moment in a show made up of lots of great moments!
ReplyDeleteThank you to everyone involved in the making of this AMAZING show! First the show, now and official nod to us, the Bronies! Thank you everyone! When I saw the Derpy scene I nearly freaked out and fell off the couch, it was perfect, absolutely perfect! WHAT A WONDERFUL GIFT!
ReplyDeleteGracias.
ReplyDelete*feels it sounds more sincere if he says it in his native language*
I tip my hat and raise my hammer!
ReplyDeleteMy appreciation is palpable.
Thank you DHX Media, Top Draw, Hasbro and Hub for not only Derpy becoming offical (Daniel Ingram, cue song now!), but for just being awesome :)!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much to all of the hard-working people that make this show possible, we love all of you!!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to say thank you to Dr. Foreigner for pointing her out in the background and coining her name.
ReplyDeleteBig thanks to DHX, The Hub, Hasbro, and Topdraw and everypony else for making MLP:FiM not just a fantastic animated show, but also a positive life-changing experience for many people to enjoy! It makes me really happy knowing that I'm part of this fantastic fanbase, and it's all thanks to them. =)
ReplyDeleteThank you and Thank you again!
ReplyDeleteAlso many thanks to whoever had first the idea to bring Derpy outta the background and give her name and voice!
A lot of Derpy on EQD lately... the cure: MOAR DERPY!!!!!!! Our glorious Muffin Princess must be praised across the lands!
ReplyDeleteOk, that's enough of that. With all sincerity, thanks so much to everyone involved in the decision to bring our little mascot to such amazing heights. Regardless of the "mistake" in voicing her, I thought that it was wonderful, so much fun, and really solidified the relationship between fandom and creators. Awesome all around, and if we ever got to see her again, there would be so much squee! If not, then I'm eternally grateful for what we have now.
Thanks again! ...and for future reference, Derpy is the once and forever Best Pony. That is all.
Thanks to the studio, and everyone involved in Derpy's debut!
ReplyDeleteAnd you know what, regarding her voice?
Derpy's first appearance... got derped.
It's only fitting, wouldn't you say? :D
Derp.
ReplyDeleteThank you so so so so much! Please know that the people who had "moral objections" to the character are by far in the minority.
ReplyDelete/)9_6(\
ReplyDeleteI love you so much Derpy, you're so cute and simple and sweet! X3
ReplyDelete@GreatAndMightyChampion
ReplyDeleteDo you deny the miracle of the muffin?
Saint Derpy! Bringing peace to the internet!
I've already made a nice huge 'thank you' on the original Derpy post linked above. I think most of us, did, too, so if anyone working on the show reads this post they should *definitely* read the comments there, too.
ReplyDeleteBut again, you guys are amazing, and continually remind us just WHY we love this show so much. I, for one, hope I can be like you guys some day -- any of you guys. Not only getting to make cartoons, but getting to make such a good one, so full from all the staff at all locations with CARE and LOVE that makes it above and beyond the majority of other cartoons -- you guys are amazing. Amazing.
I heard that a bunch of people were complaining about the portrayal of Derpy. Screw them, that scene was awesome. Thanks to everyone who made it happen.
ReplyDelete@CogWeaver
ReplyDeleteCheers! To the greatest animation team the Internet has ever known!
*Takes nice long drink
@Brownd
ReplyDeleteI don't think the voice was male as much as it was tomboy-ish like Rainbow Dash's. I've seen people that didn't know better mistake RD for male.
Hear, hear.
ReplyDeleteYay!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, Derpy is fantastic. She's one of my absolute favorite ponies, I've got a 50,000 words+ fic on the site about her, I just can't thank the show's creators enough for giving her a real role in the show.
SO
ReplyDeleteMUCH
LOVE!!! ♥♥♥
THANK YOU!!! <3 WE LOVE YOU
ReplyDeleteHere's to hoping we see more Derpy with actual scenes. I'd love an episode around her.
ReplyDeleteThank you to all who not only gave us her opening scene (which I loved by the way), but to all the fans who make her a reality.
Derpy Hooves, forever.
If being physically awkward and having trouble talking makes someone unintelligent, then Stephen Hawking is a moron.
ReplyDeleteMy conclusion: Derpy is obviously a genius. The bubbles on her cutie mark are actually space-time bubbles.
To everyone behind the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic phenomenon:
ReplyDeleteYou guys have not only created a highly entertaining, emotionally charged show with relatable, interesting characters. You have sparked a fanbase--nay, a culture-- that grows day by day, with the mantra of "love and tolerance for all" at it's core.
You aren't just creating a television show. You are, quite literally, changing the world.
Thank you.
Hear hear!! :D
ReplyDeleteThe team working on MLP: FIM have pulled off something amazing with the show, and their dedication to the fan base is incredible! Thank you so much Studio B, Hasbro, and the Hub for everything. We love you guys :)
As one who has silently lurked and enjoyed the show and all the great fandom that has arisen around it, I have to say thank you to everyone involved in bringing FiM to us each week! And an extra huge muffin box of thanks for brining Derpy out of the background and into the lime light!
ReplyDeleteYEAH DERPY!
ReplyDeleteWOOOOO HOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo!!!!!
*thud*
I'm okay!
Hasbro, you've got the right idea.
ReplyDeleteWay to intro her halfway through Season 2! Cannot wait for future episodes!
Now if only we could see Trixie again...
So, any chances of her appearing again?
ReplyDeleteMUCH LOVE TO YOU GUYS AND GALS WORKING AT THE SHOW!!!!
ReplyDeletea fan from venezuela :)
-BECAUSE YOU NEED TO BE REMINDED THIS IS GLOBAL >:D
Yes we do, Seth! Yes we do!
ReplyDeleteMuch love to all involved in MLP!
Thank you guys so much, for Derpy, for an awesome episode, and for an amazing show week after week that inspires more love, friendship, and creativity than I thought the internet could ever give rise to. And thank you, background pony animator who gave Derpy funny eyes. You, sir or madam, are the true unsung hero of this fandom.
ReplyDelete*Late again, but better late than never*
ReplyDeleteTo Hasbro, The Hub, Studio B, Lauren Faust, the VA's and EVERYONE that's working or has worked on MLP, I offer you my most sincere thanks. You guys work so hard to bring us ever-awesome episodes each and every week, as you've all been doing for the past year. I appreciate all of the hard work that goes into the show & if I could, I'd buy all of you guys a drink (or something along those lines.) Last week was definitely the icing on the cake. You not only officially gave Derpy her name, but also her voice and her oh-so-adorable antics, even if they were at the expense of Rainbow. It means a lot that you guys do take the fans into consideration, and last week is definitely the proof. Keep up the fantastic work, and just keep doing what you guys do. Whatever process you guys use works wonders, so don't change a thing. As long as the series airs, there's gonna be legions of excited fans eager to watch.
Once again, thanks for sharing this wonderful series with all of us.
Studio B, you rock! Woo hoo!
ReplyDeleteThanks for putting up with all our shenanigans. We know that you weren't signing up for a ravenous fanbase of adults back in 2010, when an animation error slipped into the first episode of a little girl's TV show. But the brony community will always love you for the effort you put into the show, and the support that you show us in return.
Thanks (again!) to all of you who work on the show! Your openness towards the bronies really makes everyone very happy. This latest bit of fanservice was absolutely unprecedented and a joy to see.
ReplyDeleteThank-you Jason.
ReplyDeleteThank-you James.
Thank-you Amy.
THank-you Tabitha.
Thank-you Studio B and Top draw.
Thank-you Hub
Thank-you Hasbro.
Thank-you Everypony.
Thank you so much having the integrity and vision to create a show that's just downright amazing. Thank you for embracing the fans instead of ignoring us. Thank you for all my great new friends which without this show, I'd never have known.
ReplyDeleteWhen we "adopted" a certain grey and yellow pony with funny eyes as a mascot of sorts, you gave her a voice, and adopted our name.
So, yes, thank you...
You guys are awesome!
Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!
ReplyDeleteA huge thank you for everyone who works on what is such an incredible show, it, and this fandom, has changed my life for the better. The derpy inclusion was proof positive (as if any more was needed) that you guys and gals who work on the show really care and appreciate us. So yet again, from me and all of my fellow UK bronies, and bronies the world over, cheers! To the superb work you have all done and to the superb work you shall doubtless accomplish in the future future!
ReplyDelete(Oh, and a huge thank you to the equestria daily team, I'v only commented a few times but I come on to equestria daily more than daily, and you lot do fantastic work!)
Thanks all for the official derpy fun, and I think she sounded like a filly!
ReplyDeletenow how about some official derpy toys...
Huge, HUGE thank you to everyone who worked on the show and who made that happen. It was a phenomenal thing you did for the fans, and I see absolutely NOTHING wrong with her adorable klutziness. Ignore the haters, you guys rock :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, MLP:FiM team. Always remember that the good outweighs the bad.
ReplyDeleteSame goes for you, EqD. :)
~Buddy Vox
As if I could love the show and the people who make it even more...than this happened. Didn't hurt that the rest of the episode was a joy to watch either. Thank you to all who make this show as great as it is.
ReplyDeleteTo Hasbro, Hub, Top Draw, Studio B, and everypony working hard to make such a wonderful show, Derpy is an amazing gift,
ReplyDeletesincerely,
THANK YOU.
Our little pony. :)
ReplyDeleteI came into this fandom only recently, but I'm loving it. Derpy was a cool character to play 'Where's Waldo' with, and is generally adorable. Having something like her grow into what she is shows the real, caring connection between the creators and their followers.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work, and may your imaginations ever flow.
I don't think I've ever experienced a moment of such confusion that was immediately followed by an overwhelming sense of glee as I did when I watched this episode. To be rendered speechless only to immediately burst out in cheer and laughter was something that I thoroughly enjoyed.
ReplyDeleteThank you everpony that works on this awesome show!
@suburbanbanshee
ReplyDelete^This. Ty very much, makers of the show.
Yes, thanks for Derpy and this great show we all get to enjoy together!
ReplyDeleteAnd Tabitha, don't take any of that stupid hate mail serious! You did a great job and I look forward to hearing your many talented voicing roles that you play!
I will continue to support this show and all the great people behind so long as I have a breath in my body!
Thanks to everypony working on the show for such a wonderful shoutout to the fandom!
ReplyDelete/agree! Thank you for Derpycanon! The bestest canon of all the canons in the derpiverse!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteThank you Studio B, The Hub, and Hasbro! This has been great!
ReplyDeleteI've loved Derpy since I first got into this show, The Last Roundup merely cemented that fact.
ReplyDeleteMy heartfelt thanks to everyone who makes My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (and Derpy) possible.
Thank you! It was so fun to see!
ReplyDeletethank you all! now lets give her a girl voice (not thats i'm complaining but would be a nice thing for the next derpped show =D) now lets go make the other background ponies into offical charecters!
ReplyDeleteFiM Team: You're amazing. We all love you.
ReplyDeleteKeep being awesome.
Thank you everyone behind MLP FiM for producing a wonderful show. The amazingly talented actors and actresses, the brilliant writers, clever story board artists, and the incredible animators as well as everyone else. And thank you for acknowledging us and treating us with the respect you do. Derpy was just so cute /)^3^(\
ReplyDeleteI don't care to send each of them a personal e-mail (sorry, I'm just that lazy like that) but if somebody's counting, I appreciate everything about Derpy.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI would like to add that I adore Derpy and the fact that the makers of the show took the time and effort to bring her character from a background pony to a speaking role AND call her Derpy is just amazing.
ReplyDeleteAnd if you don't believe there are Derpy-like people out there, I am one of them and I LOVE Derpy Hooves.
I'm blonde, I have sight problems - one eye is very long sighted the other is very short sighted and I can be very very clumsy. But I am also working full time and studying for a science degree as well. And yeah, I'm a tomboy and as an ex radio DJ and BBC reporter I can say that in the UK if you are a female in the radio industry, having deep voice is preferred!!! So all in all THANK YOU. I LOVE DERPY!!!!!
Thank You all to The FiM crew, Studio B, DHX, THe Hub, TopDraw, Hasbro, Lauren and all the others that helped and continue to make MLP:FiM one of the major things I watch on a Saturday morning.
ReplyDeleteAnd most importantly thank you for all the little nods to the fans you give us like Derpy, they're always lots of fun.
Thanks!
So much suspense about today's episode...
ReplyDeleteFull-blown-secondary-character Derpy?
Silent-slapstick-scene Derpy?
Funny-background-event Derpy?
Blink-and-you-miss-it Derpy?
So long and thanks for all the muffins?
Thank you to all of the FiM crew, DHX, The Hub, Hasbro, Topdraw and Studio B for making such an awesome show, I never thought in my life that I would be watching this, and thank you for the nods towards us that you add in the show :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Hasbro, Hub, DHX, Topdraw, Studio B, the EqD crew and of course, all of the pony fandom. I finally have a place where I truly feel like I belong. Let's stay strong creating awesome fan content and standing up for love and tolerance for a long time still to come.
ReplyDeleteWe thank you for your hard work in giving us The Great Lady, Derpy Hooves. For without her we would be lost.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone that has worked to make this show what it is. I already knew all of you were amazing, but making Derpy canon just proves it. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteHail Studio B, Hasbro and whoever else deserves it!
ReplyDeleteBless the most awesome animation error ever!
So January 21st is officially Derpy's Day? That's awesome because that happens to be my birthday. BEST. BIRTHDAY PRESENT. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteThank you for caring about your weird non-target demographic.
Dear The Hub/Hasbro/Studio B/DHX:
ReplyDeleteThank you for being SO AWESOME. Ignore the whiners, they're whining because they can. We love you and we love the things you do. Thanks for continuing to keep the show so ridiculously awesome, and for making it even better with the attention you've been giving your fans. We never asked for this, and we never could have imagined you doing so right by us. Please keep up the good work. Thank you.
Last week seeing and hearing Derpy had me OMGing for 5 minutes or longer. Thank you HUB/HASBO..
