Telekenetic snowball fights must be epic. I wish I could levitate a pile of objects and throw them at people that annoy me. You could just blame it on the wind.
Though learning how to do that is apparently pretty dangerous, based on Sweetie Belle's experiences below.
Yeah, I suspect Twilight will think twice about teaching Sweetie Belle magic using flammable objects inside a library full of highly flammable books, built inside a tree
It is definitely a Gradius reference; arcade versions of the series have a digitized voice shout "Destroy the core!" when at certain bosses. That's a fairly geeky joke, but who is the bigger geek I wonder, the geek or the geek who gets his jokes?
@iloveMLP In the opening scenes of the storybook in episode 1, she has pink hair. Others have taken this to mean that pink-haired Celestia is younger (or a child rapist, take your pick).
#2 Good job, Twilight! Start with the most flammable things available!
Wow, I can actually claim hipster shades on these, as I saw them before they were here. I especially loved the Gradius one. Philly!Luna is best Vic Viper pony. But now that makes me wonder if Tia would be Lord British, or just remain as the Big Core she is here.
Either way, Luna, DESTORY THE CORE!!! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go bust out my copy of Gradius Collection for the PSP...

#1 They look so adorable.
ReplyDelete#2 Haha poor Sweetie Belle, magic just isn't her thing.
Heh, snowball fights <3
ReplyDeleteAnd Sweetybell. Has a bunch of talent making things combustible.
#1 Just don't make Twilight angry in a snowball fight, getting hit by an avalanche worth of snow cannot be fun.
ReplyDelete#2 Oops, that's probably not the best result. At least Spike's around.
Both comics are good.
Celestia vs. Luna in a snowball fight. I wonder who would win...
ReplyDeleteMaybe Twilight should of put alittle bit more thought about teaching Sweetie belle magic .

ReplyDeleteNot bad.
ReplyDeleteCute Luna is cute ;)
1.Next to both of those fillies is Discord building a giant fort to protect himself.
ReplyDelete2.Sweetie Belle it's time to forget about magic.
Both comics are so cute!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, #1 is a reference to Gradius. "Destroy the core!" is something the game says when facing a boss.
Luna's so precious in the first one!
ReplyDeleteAnd the second comic is pretty darn funny, went to take a look at the others as well.
I'm pretty sure I've seen my cat make that exact same expression and pose that luna does in the first panel :D
ReplyDeleteThe first was both super cute and a great treat for shmup fans!
ReplyDeleteSweetie Bell is too adorable. lol
ReplyDelete>Destroy the Core

ReplyDelete#2 Silly Sweetie Belle. She said gentle wind. I was hoping for a sudden hurricane myself.
#1 Cute. Filly Luna always is.
ReplyDelete#2 WOW. Spike just got a few points in my book :P
#2 Telekinesis is overrated, pyrokinesis is where its at.
