I think I'll give this story a shot.
ReplyDeleteSecond.
ReplyDeleteTime to Google Jeeves & Wooster.
BAHAHAHAAHA
ReplyDeleteI seriously doubt the majority of people here even know what Wooster and Jeeves is
There was a great BBC series in the 90s starring Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie, and all the episodes are on Youtube. Here's a link to Episode 1.
ReplyDeleteThere's also the books, which are fantastic. At least two of them <a href="http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/10554>are on Project Gutenburg</a> and I think some are also free for download onto the Kindle.
Oops, I messed up the second link . . . let's try that again:
ReplyDeleteJ&W on Project Gutenberg
Is this the same author as the last one? I dunno if I'd trust anypony else with a J&W crossover.
ReplyDelete@OtterMatt
ReplyDeleteNo, and this story actually pre-dates the other one by several months. Go read it!
I'm glad to see it's finally up here and getting the attention it deserves, too!
More J&W? seems everything popping up recently has been something I like the idea of. I'll have to give this a read soon.
ReplyDeleteYay verily, bravo, bravo.
ReplyDeleteGood to see this up.
All I need is a well written 'Blackadder' fan fic and I'm all set.
ReplyDeleteWow. Never thought something like this crossover should pop up. Good thing I read many Wodehouse novels before.
ReplyDeleteDude! WTF Lady moondancer!
ReplyDeletePlease, please finish Continuum! I've been waiting an inordinate amount of time! I beg thee!
oh... but I guess I'll read this too... I liked the last J&W crossover. Now I gotta watch the show.
ReplyDeleteIts Doctor Whooves and Doctor Who all over again...
Fuck yeah, Fry and Laurie!
ReplyDeleteOMG Jeeves and Wooster, great show!
ReplyDeleteOnly the bits will get this.
Brits*
ReplyDeleteOops, hah....
I just love it.
ReplyDeleteAll my cudos to the author.
No Seriously. How do multiple stories with the same crossover/concept/premise keep popping up so close together?
ReplyDeleteJeeves and Wooster was, and is, THE SHIT. The P.G. Wodehouse books are the funniest literary works the 1920's had to offer. And MLPFIM....? Well, it's only natural they'd meet up in a crossover. I LOVE IT!!
ReplyDeletePlease, please finish Continuum! I've been waiting an inordinate amount of time! I beg thee!
ReplyDeleteOh, goodness. I'm sorry to keep you waiting and gratified that you like Continuum. I'm not very efficient at writing two stories simultaneously, but I will be returning to Continuum after I finish Canterlot Follies.
Sorry for the wait! I think it will be worth it, though; I've been plotting out some pretty epic plotlines for Continuum. :)
I'm American and 13 years old and I know about/seen Jeeves and Wooster. 1%?
ReplyDeleteWhat really amazes me is how well this author manages to ape Wodehouse's style. I would have called Wodehouse "inimitable" but this person seems to be doing a remarkable job of imitating him.
ReplyDeleteWhat ho! Absolutely smashing show, jolly good and all that sort of thing! Nothing but the old six stars will fit the bill, what?
ReplyDelete@Unknown
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Continuum isn't dead :) I loved reading it!
@WizardShy
ReplyDeleteWHAT!?! You're the 1%!! Well I'M the 99%! *beats up Wizardshy, steals his money, then sends him to the guillotine*
Anyway, smashingly delightful farce, if I do say so myself!
Fantastic! Captures the dry wit of the original, perfectly! Eagerly looking forward to more!
ReplyDeleteDude, Wooster and Jeeves! Bahaha. Can't wait to read this
ReplyDeleteJust keeps getting better!
ReplyDeleteThis looks most excellent, although since I saw that picture, I've had the theme tune stuck in my head. xD
