You heard me right! It's after the break if you don't want to ruin the magic.
Thanks to PonyLeaks for the heads-up!

PonyLeaks said it was Episode 13.
ReplyDeleteYES! A PINKIE PIE EPISODE!!!
ReplyDeleteyes!
ReplyDeleteShouldn't this be s02e13? I thought s02e12 was Family Appreciation Day.
ReplyDeleteWHA! AND YAY PINKIE EPISODE! :)
ReplyDeleteCelestia help us all.
ReplyDeleteI hope they don't use the same model as the foal we saw in The Mysterious Mare Do Well.
ReplyDeleteAlso, you guys are getting close to The Big 90 on your view counter.
ReplyDeleteYay! Babysitting! :D
ReplyDelete@Worsh
ReplyDeleteI don't even know anymore.
Pinkie Pie Episode yay!
ReplyDeletePinkie Pie as a babysitter. This oughta be good.
ReplyDeleteThe Cakes have KIDS?
ReplyDeleteohh..ohh no!
ReplyDeleteplease do not let it be those demonic retarded baby todler from older generations ... -_-
There are little Cakes? inb4 Cupcake jokes
ReplyDeleteSo the Cakes have kids, nice to see some of the background characters with family.
ReplyDeleteAccording to Zap2it 11-12-13 goes Family Appreciation Day - Baby Cakes - Hearth's Warming Eve. Hopefully after this it'll sort itself out. At the wiki we're sticking with air order.
ReplyDeletePinkie Pie episode? Yay... I love Pinkie! But Stare Master kind of had the same premise.
ReplyDeleteOh boy. This is gonna be interesting. How far off the deep end will these two toddlers send Pinkie? Trust me. I've practically raised my little sister. She's sent me off the deep end plenty of times, and still does!
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be an incredible episode. XD
ReplyDeleteHEHEHEHE.
ReplyDeleteWAIT! Didn't we do this already? Remember that episode with fluttershy and the CMC called stare master?
ReplyDeleteAaaand that's the "Baby_Cakes" tag added on Ponibooru.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know she had toddlers. I'm worried that they're going to look like that thing in The Mysterious Mare Do Well.
And as with every episode now, I wonder how many fannons die with the Cakes having kids. I know probably not many, but out there two... mehbe three. Tee hee.
ReplyDeleteYUSSSSS!!! Finally a Pinkie Pie Episode! I already know this episode will be full of many lawlz and pinkie moments!!!
ReplyDelete@Flutteryay
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure you can compare the CMC to toddlers :P I'm looking forward to this one!
I just wish they'd have an AJ or Fluttershy episode though...
The Cakes has kids?
ReplyDeleteWell, this ought to be interesting... xD
@RaccoonBL Remember that the CMC's are already school aged. Toddlers are another game altogether. I should know...
ReplyDeleteYep, they already did a babysitting episode. What possible new lesson could you learn from the same thing?
ReplyDeleteFINALLY! Pinkie needed an episode soon. now where is a Fluttershy and Applejack episode?
ReplyDeleteThis sounds a little similar to Stare Master though.
@CityFlyer502
ReplyDeleteBut it still the same lesson. Don't bite off more then you can chew.
@RaccoonBL ahh, but you neglect to consider this: Pinkie Pie.
ReplyDeleteAnother possible lesson: Hold your breath while changing diapers. Also, dodge if they aim at you.
ReplyDelete@Worsh
ReplyDeleteYeah, good point. I wonder how crazy they'll drive Pinkie. I know they'd drive ME crazy very quickly. And I'm a LOT like Pinkie Pie.
@RaccoonBL I suspect the lesson here will be along the lines of how to approach a problem and come up with a suitable solution or something like that. Just a thought.
ReplyDelete@Eversor Mundius
ReplyDeleteWhile yes, I do enjoy Pinkie Pie, She is best pony, but the synopsis actual sounds like the lesson from stare master.
The Cakes have foals? How come we've never seen them before?
ReplyDeletePinkie Pie! Looking forward to it!
ReplyDeletePinkie Pie episode, this is gonna be hilarious. Now, being off-topic, that new poll was a hard choice man.
ReplyDelete@Worsh And don't let them bite you. They won't let go. My sister was a biter. LOL
ReplyDeleteMOAR FILLIES?! FML
ReplyDeletesounds adorable
ReplyDeleteGlad the Pinkie drought is finally ending
ReplyDelete@CityFlyer502
ReplyDeleteHow could I forget that lesson? I've still got a scar on my pinkie from my brother :(
The Cakes have kids of their own now? Well, that changes the relationship dynamics of the Sugarcube Corner ponies.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm not completely sure if I'd trust Pinkie with toddlers. Kids on Nightmare Night is one thing. So, this ought to be an amusing episode.
Repeat lesson? Don't care. It's Pinkie learning it this time; she wasn't involved in Stare Master.
This is going to be adorable. Also, I'm glad we'll see a nuclear family with small foals for the first time, and how that works. I wonder if the episode will take place at Sugarcube Corner, or wherever the Cakes live.
ReplyDelete@Nameless I wouldn't say we had a Pinkie drought. Especially with her acting in the last episode and her crazy party cannon.
ReplyDeleteI once got stabbed in the foot by a toddler. Not with a knife. I forgot what he stabbed me with. But it did put a hole in my foot.
ReplyDelete@Worsh Whoa. I never got injured to that point. My sister was more bite and release, not bite until your flesh comes off. Guess I got lucky.
ReplyDeleteA Pinkie Pie episode? (fawk the toddlers)
ReplyDeleteME GUSTA
Procreation is now canon.
ReplyDeleteyay Pinkie episode, all will be right in the world again.
ReplyDeleteYesyesyesyeeeesss!
ReplyDeleteA Pinkie Pie episode?
ReplyDeleteFINALLY!
About time
ReplyDeleteAs to the numbering, they obviously made Family Appreciation and this one before they made Hearth's Warming, but then they saw the broadcast schedule and realized, "Hm, our Christmas Special will premier AFTER Christmas if we show these in production order... Oops." so now S02E13 comes before E11 and E12. :3
ReplyDeleteYEAH!!! Finally a Pinkie Pie Episode, I've been waiting way too long for this.
ReplyDelete@ShantaraThey don't bring babies into the kitchen
ReplyDeleteMrs. Cake: And that's how a baby is made.
ReplyDeletePinkie: *slack jaw look as seen in Secret of My Excess*
So... Smile Smile Smile finally? :)
ReplyDeleteI bet this is the episode where she sings the leaked smile song! I call it!
ReplyDelete@CTVulpin makes sense
ReplyDelete@Infusions
ReplyDelete...I don't see how that would fit with babysitting. At all.
So, no.
@pmcollectorboy
ReplyDelete...It's been canon since the first episode. (Apple family)
@Joe
ReplyDeleteYou don't see how trying to make someone smile would fit in with babysitting?
Babies cry a lot...
About time we got a Pinkie ep. She needs some air time so I can determine if she should be back atop my Best Pony list. Rarity took over my top spot for being so gorram awesome so far in S2.
ReplyDeleteThe Cakes have toddlers? Aren't they middle-aged?
ReplyDeleteOh dear sweet goodness...this will not end well...
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I've been waiting for Pinkie episode since 'Party of One')
ReplyDeletePinkie Pie is best pony
ReplyDelete@RaccoonBL
ReplyDeleteConsidering Pinkie Pie's personality, i'd think she'd be more apt to just play with the toddlers that to actually take care of them. Then the lesson would be something more like "Sometimes you need to put your foot down" or "Be the mature one" or something like that.
It might not be THE Cakes, the description just says Cake. Singular.
ReplyDeleteSo basicly I have to wait even longer for my long overdue Fluttershy episode...sigh -_-
ReplyDeleteWhile I can see how Smile Smile Smile can be worked into the episode (the toddlers are all grouchy and they're out for a stroll or something), I kindof doubt it'll be in there.
ReplyDeleteAnd regarding ep numbering, I had completely forgot Hearths Warming Eve was announced as e13. I guess the numbering kinda makes sense, but I'll still refer to Hearths as e11, Family as e12 and Baby Cakes as e13.
So basicly I have to wait even longer for my long overdue Fluttershy episode...sigh -_-
ReplyDeletePinkie Pie episode yay!
ReplyDelete1. I don't for for Hasbro, so I can't say I'm 100% certain about this, but after paying attention to the production side of other shows for several years now, I'm willing to bet that yes, this is episode 12 (episode 38 overall). Doesn't really take someone who does pay attention to that kind of thing to figure it out actually, as it's pretty obvious they played the episodes out of order so they could show the Christmas episode - S2:Episode 13 - first.
ReplyDelete2. This is another reliable source I've been using for years (for other shows): http://tv.msn.com/tv/series-episodes/my-little-pony-friendship-is-magic/ They don't have too much on pony yet though. Also, if Toonzone ever gets complete HUB schedules, they'll be another very reliable source (schedules change of course, but HUB seems to be more reliable than Nickelodeon with airing at least). There are a few other sources, such as TV.com (http://www.tv.com/shows/my-little-pony-friendship-is-magic/episodes/), but they aren't as reliable or accurate. Occasionally, you can find episodes of shows LONG before they air on the U.S. Copyright Office site: http://www.copyright.gov/records/. However, there doesn't seem to be anything on MLP:FiM, unless I'm searching wrong, or it's only copyrighted in Canada.
3. OHMYGOSH Pinkie episode! :D *insert glee and obligatory confusion over Cakes having toddlers here* Just hope they don't turn out like that....thing...in episode 8. *shudder*
^'I don't for for Hasbro'? XD *WORK for I meant to say.
ReplyDeleteI'm with SuperGiantRobot. It says Cake in singular, not THE Cakes. Besides, they seem a little too old to have toddlers, but that's just my opinion.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteAs I said, I think the mother's name is Cake, not that it's the Cake's children. They're pretty far along to have toddlers.
ReplyDeleteBEEP*BEEP*
ReplyDeleteIM A CLOUD....
PINKIE EPISODE
ReplyDeleteAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Sorry 'bout that. I'm still waiting for an AJ and for a Fluttershy episode, though.
Expectations!
@SuperGiantRobot
ReplyDeleteThe title sounds pretty clear cut though. And we can't always go by the synopsis, sometimes they aren't quite accurate and we get a differently worded one later on.
Another babysitting episode)) Someponies property is gonna be destroyed)))
ReplyDelete@pmcollectorboy
ReplyDeleteI seem to recall that in earlier My Little Pony series that foals were created by a magic mirror
Wonder what there names will be.
ReplyDelete@SuperGiantRobot
ReplyDeleteHow old do you think they are? I get the impression that they are in the 30's or even 40's, but that's certainly not too old to have toddlers! Many people wait that long to have kids these days. My sister-in-law had her first kid at 42.
@Nameless
ReplyDeleteJudging from the lyrics, no. A 3 1/2 minute emotional song for...cheering up toddlers? Nope.
i have been waiting for a pinkie episode for far too long.
ReplyDelete@Nameless
ReplyDeleteI dunno; the Cakes ARE quite old, though. It just doesn't make much sense.
@ponydoraprancypants
ReplyDeleteI bet the Cakes were stockbrockers in Manehatten until the pressure finally got to them and they retired to spend their considerable savings running Sugarcube Corner, a lifelong dream. They didn't get around to having kids until they moved to Ponyville. Since they have plenty of money, they don't mind that Pinkie is constantly eating their inventory. :)
The fact that anyone wouls trust Pinkie withbabysitting is frightening....
ReplyDeleteIWANNASEEITNAO!!!!!!!
Lap, Pinkie is best pony
Pinkie Pie babysitting? I'm surprised she didn't need babysitting herself. The Cakes didn't seem to trust her with the kitchen in Applebuck Season.
ReplyDeleteI hope Fluttershy drops by to help - or not.
*sigh* this just happens to come right after I get started reading a fanfic explaining why the Cakes didn't have kids (and had basically adopted Pinkie.. ) lol
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletePINKIE PIE EPISODE YEAH! Man, I can't wait!
ReplyDeletePinkie vs. Something More Hyper Than Pinkie. That'll be good.
ReplyDelete@Marine726
ReplyDeletePink pony is best pony.
@ponydoraprancypants
ReplyDeleteThere's also the fact that if the Cakes had kids, we'd have seen them already. Generally, characters are worked out in advance (look up the term "character bible"); if the Cakes had kids, we'd already know.
I can't see any way they could just spring that on us.
@SuperGiantRobot
ReplyDeleteHaha, why would we have seen them? If you only interacted with me at my place of business, you'd never see my kid. He's at daycare during the day. 10,000 bits says that these are the Cakes' kids.
Of all the ponies they could have asked to babysit they picked Pinkie Pie?
ReplyDeleteCannot wait!
Yes! A Pinkie Pie episode.
ReplyDeletePINKIE PIE = BEST PONY
RAINBOW DASH AND RARITY = Second Best Ponies
A PINKIE PIE EPISODE! ...The Cakes have kids?!
ReplyDelete@SuperGiantRobot
ReplyDeleteI gotta agree with ponydoraprancypants, why would we see "toddlers" at a bakery? Do you see people bring their kids to their workplace all the time?
They'd only be a hindrance/annoyance in the bakery.
I'm concerned, At the core it sounds like Stare Master. And repeat of the same moral is concerning. But considering it's Pinkie Pie, I'm sure it will be different enough. Curious to know what will happen, and who will help out.
ReplyDeletePremise isn't my favourite currently. But I'll wait and see the episode.
Another possibility (if you believe they're too old to have toddlers) is that it's their grandkids, and that the parents dropped them off while on vacation or something. And absence of ponies doesn't mean they don't exist; just look at Sweetie Belle's parents.
ReplyDeleteThe plot (tee hee hee) is pretty similar to "The Stare Master." I wonder how it will play out.
ReplyDeleteBetting 100$ that the moral of the story goes along a "Great power come great responsibility" line.
ReplyDeleteLet me attempt to clear up the episode numbering issue, since I think I understand what discrepancy occurred.
ReplyDeleteThe Hearthswarming episode, when first announced was called "episode 13" as in, it probably was listed as the 13th episode of the season in the production code. However, in order to be released around Christmas time, it was shown in the 11th spot.
Now the "Family Appreciation day" episode is probably production code 11, but released 12th, and this new one is production code 12, but released 13th.
So basically the episodes went as follows:
10(secret of my excess), 13, 11, 12, 14 etc.
Once we reach 14, the discrepancy caused by the Christmas episode will be ironed out and numbering will continue as normal.
Unless I really have no idea what's going on. Then forget it. But that's my theory.
@ponydoraprancypants
ReplyDeleteWell, let's call it 50/50. I mean, it's not that I don't want them to be the Cakes' kids (they're a sweet pair), I just doubt they are. I mean, they have trouble enough just reigning in Pinkie, and she's a teenager. The Cakes keeping an eye on her, the twins AND running a business? Also, the synopsis pretty much states that this is her first time babysitting.
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletethis is getting out of hand the serious is in a downward slope to previous generations now that faust is gone
ReplyDeleteRarity and Sweetie Belle's parents look to be around the same "look" as the Cakes. I'm guessing they're modeled to resemble middle-aged ponies. If Rarity's parents can still bear a young-ish child like Sweetie Belle, then the Cakes having kids is not too farfetched.
ReplyDelete:D This seems like it's gonna be quite the amusing episode aaaannnddd Hopefully the smile song!
ReplyDelete@DandyManseries* lol
ReplyDelete@SuperGiantRobot
ReplyDeleteFWIW, Lauren confirmed on her DA page a long time ago that the Mane 6 all young adults, not teens. Though she did add that they had the maturity level of 12-18 year-olds, so that they would be relatable to younger viewers.
so the cakes are parents? i never wouldve guessed. i wonder why they waited til now to reveal this
ReplyDeletePinkie Pie tries babysitting? .....Dear Celestia, help us all.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Cakes had kids? That was unexpected. though not totally surprised. Nice to see some of the side characters getting more detail on their family.
@ponydoraprancypants
ReplyDeleteI'd still be surprised if they were the Cakes' children.
Not UNPLEASANTLY so, I just don't see it being the case is all.
Yay for Pinkie episode! :D And I can totally see the leaked song fitting in here somewhere.
ReplyDelete@SuperGiantRobot
ReplyDeleteWe'll see! :)

ReplyDeleteYaay! Pinkie episode!
ReplyDeleteand the Cake's have kids!
The first thing I thought of was Brad Neely's Baby Cakes videos.
Toddlers are a handful. I've been nutted a few times by my daughter. I imagine two would be 10 times worse.
ReplyDeleteAll in all, I want at least one scene that tops the opening from Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Badly Battered Pinkie Pie, seems almost certain to happen.
ReplyDeletePINKIE-sode!!! Effing finally!
ReplyDelete@WizardWannabe
ReplyDeleteYes, that was my first thought as well.
There needs to fanart of the two now.
Perhaps making a party list together?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrdKHhy-hqM
I bet this episode will have that "Smile" song in it.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1O0ErRhdoI
Pinkie's song!!!
ReplyDelete(Squee!)
I got a feeling I'll love Pinkie pie even more after this episode. I can barely stand my younger cousins. And Pinkie taking on toddlers.
ReplyDeleteTaking Pinkie in while parenting their own kids... Suddenly I start to respect Cakes even more.
ReplyDeleteFinally gonna get to enjoy more Pinkie Pie. Can never get enough of her.
ReplyDeleteRE Cakes having kids: they're just as from left field as Rarity and Sweetie Belle's parents are. Totally unexpected, not completely foreseen, but not outside possibility. As a few points were said, Rarity and Sweetie Belle's parents looked to be roughly the same age as the Cakes, so I could see the Cakes having kids. Also, for the Cakes, Sugarcube Corner is their place of business. Not too many families that run a business have their kids there a lot. The few times we do see kids there (I'm surprised not more kids are shown every time SCC shows up), it's mostly the CMC and their classmates, not toddlers.
I'm placing this one in the "Wait and See" folder. Like every other episode. Eagerly awaiting Pinkie Pie, though.
@Joe
ReplyDeleteIt would make sense because, what if the toddlers start to cry or fret? Wouldn't "Smile" cheer them up?
Yay for Pinkie Pie FINALLY getting an episode!
ReplyDeleteAlso, Mrs. Cake counts as a milf now? Who would've thought?
@Mr. Unsmiley
ReplyDeleteNo ... no she doesn't.
Yes! Pinkie pie episode...now we need an Applejack episode.
ReplyDelete@ponydoraprancypants
ReplyDeleteRarity and Applejack certainly strike me as being "adult" in their behaviors and actions. The others seem to act younger
Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie act like teenagers, in contrast. Though Pinkie Pie is so random that she sort of transcends all sense half of the time.
@Shiranai
ReplyDeleteI agree with your assessment. All I know is that Lauren said the Mane 6 have a maturity level of 12-18, but are physically "young adults," which I take to mean 19 to late 20's. I think RD is, maturity-wise (and probably physically) the youngest, and then Twilight and Pinkie. FS, Rarity, and AJ all seem "more mature," and likely are physically the oldest as well, for various reasons. We'll probably never know their canon ages. I like Harwick's drawing of the elderly Twilight with Pinkie hidden in the background, apparently not having aged a day. Heh, I wrote a very short fic months ago positing that Pinkie is actually just an avatar from Princess Celestia's "fun side," created to keep tabs on the other girls.
I think this may be the episode that James Wooton said he really liked. Pinkie ep!
ReplyDeleteBetcha one of the foals is named Sweet, Cup, Chocolate, or Johnny.
ReplyDelete@CTVulpinnot significantly, fanon always declared them barren, but if they had kids later in life after pinkie pie was brought on as an apprentice mothering instincts would still have mrs cake treating little pinkamina as a daughter. the name similarity has me wondering if they might be related, pie to cake as cousins, just as apples are somehow related to the oranges (figure that one out lol)
ReplyDeleteHoley moley, Pinkie Pie babysitting? This will be one hectic episode ;)
ReplyDelete@DandyMan You've gotta be kidding me.
ReplyDelete@Ikusa GT
ReplyDeleteCareful, here there be parasprites.
>First comment at 10:00
ReplyDelete>Posted at 10:01
...That description...
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling that these todlers are going to have godlike 4th wall breaking powers.
Or maybe this will be the one episode where Pinkie doesn't actually break the 4th wall... that could be just as wierd to see.
YESSSSSS!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!! I GET MY LONG AWAITED PINKIE PIE EPISODE!!!!!!! MY BODY IS SO READY!!!!!
ReplyDeleteVICTORY LAP!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! :D
PINKIE PIE EPISODE! :DDDDDDD
ReplyDeleteThis day cant get any better!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis day cant get any better!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes!!!!!!! A pinkie pie episode. Finally!!! This episode is going to be the best :b
ReplyDeletePinkie pie is best pony
I shed a single tear for that fanfic that updated not too long ago about The Cakes having no foals of their own. *Tear*
ReplyDeleteI hope now we'll get fics about Pinkie's family being supportive of her, rather than the "give her to those ponies over there" approach.
@Shantara
ReplyDeleteWould YOU take your kids to work?
@ponydoraprancypants
ReplyDeleteMy guesstimate when the show begins:
CMCs: 8
Rainbow Dash: 18
Twilight Sparkle: 19
Rarity: 20
Applejack: 20
Pinkie Pie: 20
Fluttershy: 21
I also speculate that compulsory education for ponies doesn't last as long, and that there is less of an emphasis on secondary/post secondary education. Twilight's apparent status as what I can best describe as a "grad student" doesn't seem very common given that the rest of the Mane6 appear to be employed.
OMG YES PINKIE PIE EPISODE
ReplyDeleteI'll bet the episode has a flashback with Pinkie as a baby.
ReplyDeleteOh so this is the episode with pinkies song, good thing to, i was tempted to listen to the linked song if it were any farther away
ReplyDeleteYes! A Pinkie Pie episode! All is well.
ReplyDeleteOnly one question:
ReplyDeleteAre the Cakes off their rocker?
Hah, this should be a fun ep.
AWESOME!! Pinkie episode + new characters. It does sound like a repeat of The Stare Master, but this is Pinkie we are talking about, and these kids are even younger than the CMC.
ReplyDeletePinkie is cutest poof ever. <3
ReplyDeletePinkie Pie babysitting? Now that's going to be rather interesting to see. I can see Pinkie throwing responsibility at all out the window though in favor of trying to simply be kids friends. Though these are toddlers, so they might be too young for that scenario. Little kids like that are a handful though and I'm sure Pinkie is going to find that out the hard way.
this is a first.
ReplyDeleteWell, so long for Pinkie being the only, close to adopted child of the Cakes. They were damn adorable, those three! I liked the idea that they got something with Pinkie they otherwise didn't quite have.
ReplyDeleteAaaaaanyway. Toddlers? The ones alike to what Rainbow Dash saved? With diapers? Aaaaaaah, run! :p
I've been having a rough week, and this news is exactly what I needed to see.
ReplyDeleteWait, what was the airdate again?
BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
ME GUSTA.
ReplyDelete@Stahi
ReplyDeleteI always assumed Cakes and Pinkie lived upstairs in Sugarcube corner.
And it's not so unusual to see children in their parents' family shop in small villages. Well, maybe they are too still young judging from the description.
Why did I immediately think of Generation 3.5 when I saw the description?
ReplyDeleteAwesome. The idea of a new pinkie pie episode makes me smile smile smile :D
ReplyDeleteohmygod yes!!!! pinkie episode!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFINALLY, Pinkie Pie gets the spotlight! 'Bout time we got some antics from the BEST PONY EVER!
ReplyDeleteAnyone else think this could have a "Be Trustworthy" moral? That'd be interesting for Pinkie.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's how Equestria was made!!!
ReplyDeleteinb4 pinkie "smile" song :3
ReplyDeleteOh boy, this is gonna be good...
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna take a guess by saying that the Cake twins are named "Short" and "Bunt."
ReplyDelete@Vinny
ReplyDeleteCup is the first name of Mrs. Cake, and Mr. Cake is Carrot.
love that picture at the top
ReplyDeletePinkie, you know you've gotta be a role model for these kids, right? Teach 'em to share, care, and build their own party cannons.
ReplyDeleteThe Stare Master had the CMC being too much for Fluttershy to handle...
ReplyDeleteBut somehow I see this one as Pinkie Pie being too much for the twins to handle.
@EonMaster The Cake foals were born in between "Winter Wrap-up" and "Hearth Warming Eve", which... *consults convoluted time-line chart he made which resembles blueprints for a Rube-Goldberg device*... was a period of approximately 35 million years after the Latter Devonian, and ended just before the founding of the First Galactic Empire.
ReplyDelete@Shiranai Fluttershy acts... uhm... well, like someone who's really shy and a hippie. And Twilight is a geek, meaning her behavioral age as compared to other geeks could be anywhere between 13 to 70. *knows these things, as he is a 35-year old geek*
ReplyDeleteI can just see the fanart of Pinkie and the two children being a tag team trio already! XD
ReplyDeleteCake's toddlers? Pinkie babysitting?
ReplyDelete*Slaps hands together and starts rubbing them together*
Right. Time to build that fallout shelter.
I don't know how to interpret the synopsis, so all I'm going to say is that I'm going to wait and see what the truth is when the episode airs.
Pinkie will tell the children how Equestria had been made.
ReplyDeletePinkie Pie episode? Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor.
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean "Smile" could become a canon song?
One of the foals better be named Coffee. Or Bundt.
ReplyDeletePinkie episode? YEAAAAAAA BOI!
ReplyDeleteHope AJ and Fluttershy episodes aren't far off!
A Pinkie Pie episode?
ReplyDeleteThis will be good. :)
Yay for another Pinkie Pie episode! With a song opportunity yet! And young foals give rest of the Mane 6 a good excuse for intervention....
ReplyDeleteNot worried about the explicit one-line moral being the same as Stare Master. Even if there is no twist - never a safe bet, especially with Pinkie around - the explicit moral isn't usually what the episode is based around. Stare Master had the CMC at Fluttershy's beck and call by the end; it wasn't really about being overwhelmed.
Squeee!! It's a Pinkie Pie episode! Finally she gets to be in the spotlight.
ReplyDeleteI have some ideas of how she might baby sit, and they aren't nice ideas, she'll be random like always and probably break the 4th wall! xD
Oh and a song, or maybe Hasbro is gonna troll us by raising our expectations of the possibility song and then their isn't any...
Because who ever would predict a Rainbowdash and Fluttershy duet? The show is full of surprises.
Oh man, I hope this one has the Pinkie Pie Smile Song.
ReplyDeleteYES! PINKIE PIE EPISODE!
ReplyDelete@Killsteal_Wolf
ReplyDeleteSorry that I'm choosing you to unload on here, but seriously, can you shut the fuck up with the negativity? You know a very, very brief synopsis of the episode. I'm sick to death of people on here making negative assumptions about episodes before they are even close to airing. People like you are making being a fan of this show increasingly difficult.
didn't pinkie pie already have her own epiosde which was...oh yeah...PARTY OF ONE?!
ReplyDeleteBut i cant complain...this better be a better pinkie pie episode then party of one
Pinkie Pie! Woooo!!
ReplyDeleteThis will be epic! I wonder if the relative maturity level of the Cake children will be close to the CMC or lower somewhat. That might give us some perspective on their age.
ReplyDeleteInb4 Pinkie teaches them how to become pony cannonballs on the party cannon.
ReplyDeleteI can see it now...
ReplyDeleteMr.Cake: "Come on Cherry, say "Papa"!"
Cherry Cake: "Pa... Pa... PARTY!"
Cakes: *glare at Pinkie*
Pinkie: "I am the coolest aunt EVER."
