Wow, been a long time since I've heard the song in the third one. I don't know if I'd call the third one "simplistic" exactly, but it was pretty good. They were all pretty decent.
#3: In all my love of System of a Down and for that song, I never would have thought to pair it with Luna. It works surprisingly well and I enjoyed it greatly. My one gripe is that the I wasn't all that into some of the editing.
Now excuse me, I must learn more about this SR-71 band... Their sound intrigues me
It's okay, Seth, you can call mine simple! I threw it together to distract myself from studying for finals, and it worked brilliantly in that regard. Thanks for the feature!
#3 was AMAZING....loved the scene choice, really nice masking tricks, and the song choice was perfect. Great job!

#2 I jsut saw tat movie, too! Oh my, Pinkie Holmes. Well, that foresight thing he does when fighting makes sense with Pinkie and her Pinkie sense.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, SR-71... now that's a nostalgia trip.
ReplyDeleteAw man. I didn't make the cut this time. Well, these are all really great at any rate. And there's always next time. Cheers, everyone!

ReplyDeleteI can't watch 1 and 3 because of GEMA. :(
ReplyDeleteBut I love 2. Pinkie Holmes. I'd pay money to see that.
Heh, #1 was good, I liked Pinkie's interruption there; I've only ever seen one other PMV do that.
ReplyDelete#2 just blew me away. I just saw that movie and everything fits perfectly.
ReplyDeleteHow is #3 "simple"? skip to 1:25 and all the special effects are used.

ReplyDelete#2 BRILLIANT
ReplyDelete#2 is utterly brilliant. I myself would have to put it on a similar level as ponycraft 2

ReplyDelete#3 is proof that we need more System of a Down PMVs.
ReplyDeleteQuick, someone make one with Rainbow Dash using Aerials! I'll love you forever!
#1 solid PMV I like how Pinkie interrupts at the end.
ReplyDelete#2 This one made me actually want to see the Sherlock Holmes movie.
#3 great PMV *hooves
3. Those transitions and scene sections were great, worked will with a good song I wasn't fimilure with.
ReplyDeleteAlso, do think instead of "simple PMVs" maybe "Oldschool PMVs" would sound better?
stupid typos meant to say
ReplyDelete...worked well....
1. Cool editing, good rhythm!
ReplyDelete2. I loved this movie, ponies made it sillier... :P
3. ...and I thought the first one had cool editing! Brilliant!
