I'd just like to say that I have a predisposition against country music, which I consider to be a natural paradox. However, I believe I owe it to a fellow pmv artist to at least give it a shot.
Oh no, its country.... Make it stop! Ah, the pictures are nice though, I just really really hate country, the first one is bleh, idk a lot of pmvs are boring, maybe its just me, but there has been a few decent ones, just not these, ugh, ill probably have to wait another month to find a good one.
Just wanted to let you know I was right. The song, if it can be called that, is exactly as painful as I thought it would be. But the video itself is so amazing. Concept, editing, just everything is wonderful. It was tolerable once I pressed mute.
#1 I did not see this one coming. This was just so much fun to watch.
#2 I usually don't listen to country, but I lend everything new my attention (case in point, ponies.) And in this case, I was blown away by what I saw and heard. Beautiful.
I apologize to those who don't like country, but its kind of my bread and butter when it comes to music. Still, hope those who can tolerate country music enjoy the In Color PMV
I agree. You don't need to apologize to us for making a video with the song you like. We all have our own personal tastes, and if that's yours, then I respect it. Tolerance man, tolerance.
@Pen Stroke Thirding the "don't apologize" sentiments here. I knew what the song was once the post mentioned 'country', and I like what you did. You put in the hard work to make the pictures fit the song and you succeeded quite well. Be proud.
#2 in color - that was beautiful. I really never liked country but this video changed my mind. I think it's just Taylor Swift and The Band Perry that I don't like. I honestly cried at #2 cause it was so good and also sad but also that happy sad. Excuse me while I happily cry
#2: Well done, but country music today just ain't what it used to be. It's right down there with most of today's rap and rock music in terms of relative quality compared to what they once were. Every now and then, something truly golden comes along from either genre, but it's a rare occurrence and is rarely given adequate attention when it does happen. The music has gotten dumber at a rate similar to that of the declining intelligence of American politicians in general (regardless of party).
Save for "Man of Constant Sorrow" by the fictitious Soggy Bottom Boys from "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" I don't think I've heard a country-ish song written in the past...oh, 20-30 years that I could really stand to listen to. They might be out there but nothing comes to mind. Granted, I'm not exactly what you'd call an expert on the subject, 's just a matter of opinion from what I've heard.
#1 was brilliant. Might seem a bit bland at first since it's mostly just the one scene, but then everything else starts chiming in from off-screen and lulz are had.
1: Hahaha xD That was amazing great editing job! Loved it! 2: Wow, I'm not usually one for country, but that was amazing. Really sad, awesome editing, overall great job! Also liked this one :)
#1 Not bad, not bad at all. #2 Absolutely loved it, seeing as I'm a huge country fan, and I was in love with that song when it came out. Loved how you paired such a good Jamey Johnson song with the pictures you picked (:
#2 Good, still not my favorite, personally I think country these days has gone in the toilet, there's still the actually good artists, like in this case Trace Adkins. We need more PMV's with *GOOD* country music like this one.
I would have argued that fluttershy's eyes are not blue. Rarity's eyes are blue, but fluttershy is the only one able to ship with Macintosh. Well, not the only one to ship, but the only one that's good.

ReplyDelete#2 why you make me sad?

ReplyDelete#2 I really think there should be some laws against country music being made

ReplyDelete@CityFlyer502 *star
ReplyDeletenumber 2, it was...nice
ReplyDeleteAlso I must say I should enjoy these, but I have a particular issue. Nostalgia is by far one of my least favorite emotions.
ReplyDelete@Pen Stroke

That first one was amazing. 'Nuff said.
ReplyDeleteFirst one was hilarious and the second one was well done and so sweet.
ReplyDeleteIs that Assassin Octavia?..
ReplyDeleteShe needs a name now, like Octavia Auditore da Fillyenze
Quick someone come up with something better

Spike Jones.... YES!!
ReplyDelete1: Hahaha xD That was amazing great editing job! Loved it!
ReplyDelete2: Wow, I'm not usually one for country, but that was amazing. Really sad, awesome editing, overall great job! Also liked this one :)
Yep, I enjoyed both of these. I love you guys!
And then the image changed for no good reason.
ReplyDeleteSpike Jones. SOMEPONY dug out a Spike Jones piece. I am amazed and delighted.
ReplyDelete#2 YES.
ReplyDeleteIN COLOR IS AWESOME.
ReplyDeleteFirst one was awesome!
ReplyDeletenot a fan of country so the second one kinda did nothing for me . first one was great though
ReplyDeleteCouldn't get past the 30 second mark on either of these.
ReplyDelete@Senior Waffles
ReplyDeleteFun fact; many viewers can't get past the 30 second mark on any random YouTube video. Probably has something to do with shortening attention spans.
I usually can't stand country music, but I have to give credit where credit is due. That second one was really great.
ReplyDelete#1 Not bad, not bad at all.
ReplyDelete#2 Absolutely loved it, seeing as I'm a huge country fan, and I was in love with that song when it came out. Loved how you paired such a good Jamey Johnson song with the pictures you picked (:
The first one was very engaging!
ReplyDelete1# Oh yes! SnivianMoon makes the best silly pmv's :D
ReplyDelete2#That's just.. so beautiful..
I like how pmv's have taken a huge boost in quality lately.<3
@Pen Stroke No need to apologize for anything. That song fits your video perfectly.
ReplyDelete#1 Not bad, not my favorite
ReplyDelete#2 Good, still not my favorite, personally I think country these days has gone in the toilet, there's still the actually good artists, like in this case Trace Adkins. We need more PMV's with *GOOD* country music like this one.
In this post's image...who is that alicorn? I've never seen her before now...
ReplyDelete#1 > Reads Title... I only know one song that comes even close to that.... YEP! XD
ReplyDeleteI love #2. The song with the editing is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see more PMVs with good country music.

ReplyDeleteIn Color was wonderfully done. :) I grew up on country music and this song has always made me a little teary eyed. Plus FlutterMac is best shipping~
