I think that nimber two could also fit......Lyra? O__O
Number three- Q_Q That's a powerful, deep PMV right there..... 1:15 ah, you had me there :P Seriously, though, that is a truly (almost literally) Epic pmv
That was powerful in the sense we have all become friends through FiM, none shall ever feel as we have from this, we good friends, no.... we, Band of Bronies
Wow, that was not what I expected at all. Number three was amazing. As I see, when MLP:FIM comes to an end, a new one will come out. I mean look at how huge the fan base has become. While FIM may not last forever. The ponys will never end.
I would like to think that Fim will become one of those super iconinc cartoons that actually make a mark on society (think Bleach, Naruto or even Pokemon) and that last a long time.
Kinda torn between wanting Hasbro and the general media to notice us and wanting to stay the way we are. Slowly expanding into the media without to much fus rather than just poping up in a surge of popularity (which tends to attract the worst folk)
I've been wondering recently what will happen to all us bronies once the series is over; our fandom will quickly die out for sure, but it's become such a large part of my life it seems strange to just abandon it once its remaining 2 or 3 seasons are over. The third one gives a perfect answer--NEVER FORGET!
@Agarwaen Agreed. In fact, the minute the show starts showing a downward trend I hope they choose to kill it. Ending early at its height will do far more to solidify its iconic status for years to come than continuing to trudge on in mediocrity.
Needed a break and glad I came over here. I wouldn't mind tearing down the highway with #1 playing somewhere in the car. And #2 sure got me laughing. #3 was a little tough to watch. As amazing as this series is, it will one day come to a close and we all know it. I've only been a brony for a week and a half, but this series has definitely left its mark on my life; a mark that will remain until my last day. And the way I see it, the day when we all forget about MLP is the day that the series will truly be gone. As long as one of us is still drawing, writing a fanfic, making a PMV, or even watching an old episode, there's always gonna be an adventure for our favorite ponies.
For almost the entire video of #3 I was thinking somepony had made a video trailer for the End of Ponies fanfic. While I was wrong, I was not disappointed.
#1 was great, reminds me of so many other songs that fit well with the videos (though it does always annoy me to hear "he" instead of "she")
#2 was just amusing, smiled a lot during it.
#3... just... I almost burst out crying... that was so powerful (and Im a sucker for sappy endings) really. really. well done. I just pray that day ti speaks of is far in the future (think about it, hasbro has a cash cow here, why put it out to pasture? There are plenty of other series that have run all the way into double-digit season numbers!)
#3 Tries too hard and too heavy. It's a sign of taking the show too seriously. It's almost absurdly funny.
A less pretentious take, like that "Ask Twilight Sparkle" comic where she tears up at the thought of Spike growing up and leaving her forever, is bittersweet yet deeply moving.
#3 Made me more happy then sad, because I know that FiM ends when WE end it moreso than when new episodes stop airing.
This community has so very, very much magnitude, that once the show ends, we'll keep the fandom alive as long as possible. We generate hundreds of hours of pony for every one hour of the official show. Even if we're done after season three, it's still gonna take years for us to lose enough steam to burn out.
After fighting back tears for the first two minutes of #3, I couldn't agree more. Yet I'm almost certain that Seth posted this because of one of his earlier posts where evrypony ripped on him for saying the series was going to end eventually.
DUDE!! The third one is bucking epic!! And the first one is great as well, Rush is fantastic and ponies just make them so much greater (if that's possible).
Did not cry on number 3, but I must say that it was a rare case for me to watch a PMV like that all the way through. Most PMV's require true talent in editing to get my interest, this one however has only necessary editing and is emotionally driven. Definitely worth a look, then into the time capsule it goes to reinvigorate the nostalgia of Friendship is Magic.
Number three is powerful. It might be a bit premature, but I don't mind. No tears, but close. It also reminded me of this one http://i43.tinypic.com/16hnhw7.jpg
Maybe it's just because I'm an older Brony but I'm surprised at the lack of love for #1. "Analog Kid" is one of my favorite Rush songs.
The weird thing is that Rarity'd have been a more accurate subject for it. It's all about a country kid and his encounter with the Big City. But it does make for a very, very nice Dash PMV.
#2 and #3 were very cool, too, but my heart still lies with Rush. ^.^
#1 Meh #2 You just won the whole damn internet! Loved Pinkie Pie's "Hey Mr. Fancy Pants" parts. #3 Well played sir, well played. Totally called every "...will...her last ..." but that's just cause we're so familiar with their personalities.
#3 Well MLP has been here since like forever. So unless they really screw up Gen 4 I think Hasbro will continue cashing in indefinitely. And even if they did somehow mess this up, they probably come out with Gen 5 after a few years while retaining some gen 4 characters.
I don't see MLP ending in the foreseeable future, though I can see the fandom dying down eventually.
I swear that last one made me cry :'( When FiM eventually does die out, it will be a huge let down. But hopefully this wont be for a while. im going to miss ponies :(

ReplyDeletehahah the Fancy Pants song made me burst out laughing
ReplyDeleteI liked all three but two is my fav
ReplyDeleteSleep? What is this "sleep" you speak of? Is it some kind of fruit?
ReplyDeleteJonathan Coulton? In MY ponies? SO MUCH WIN!
ReplyDelete#2 loled so hard
ReplyDelete#3 Ah don't want to cry *bites back tears*
Wow. Three was just... wow.
ReplyDeleteBarely got into the 3rd one, Can't do sad.
ReplyDeleteMr Fancy pants was great.
#2 lol that was pretty funny. *Wonders why Fancy Pants doesn't wear pants*
ReplyDelete#3 Must....not....cry... ;-;
#3. Almost cried.
ReplyDeleteI like how there are no comments about number one yet, lol
ReplyDeleteOk... Went back to give #3 a try. Thinking 'mustnotcrymustnotcry'
ReplyDeleteAs soon as the Fluttershy came onscreen started balling like a bucking filly.
#2 I can't imagine Pinkie Pie being that soft spoken.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I didn't.
ReplyDelete*after re-watching #3*
ReplyDeleteThat was powerful in the sense we have all become friends through FiM, none shall ever feel as we have from this, we good friends, no.... we, Band of Bronies
God I'm going to miss MLP:FiM when it ends.
ReplyDeleteGood thing Season 3 isn't even out yet!

ReplyDeleteRush, Jonathan Colton (hehe), AND a powerfully deep pmv? One of the best posts ever.
ReplyDeleteHah, I loved the second one. Fits awesomely. :P
ReplyDeleteThe other two were decent as well.
#3 was amazing, but it seems a bit premature. We're not even halfway through season two yet, and season three has already been confirmed.
ReplyDeleteI would like to think that Fim will become one of those super iconinc cartoons that actually make a mark on society (think Bleach, Naruto or even Pokemon) and that last a long time.
ReplyDeleteUnow I have the desire to make a Move Along PMV to counter with
ReplyDelete@RavensDagger
ReplyDeleteI hope so, but I also hope they do not destroy what the show is in the process, as happens so many times.
*I now(autocorrect)
ReplyDelete@RavensDagger
ReplyDeleteI agree, and I think FiM already has made a very positive mark on society.
@Agarwaen

Do you have fancy pants? Cause' I got me some fancy pants!

ReplyDeleteBWAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am laughing so hard!!!
ReplyDeleteI used some mlp references on my dad, and he's like "WTF are you talking about?"
Three was really amazing I hope it turns out that way!
ReplyDeleteThe Analog Kid, nice. One of the more underrated songs from Signals.
ReplyDelete#3 im...im proud to be a Brony..

ReplyDeleteI LOVE JO CO!
ReplyDeleteI have to say, I really loved #3.
ReplyDelete#2 is a Jonathon Coulton tune. As soon as I saw Fancy Pants in the new episode, I hoped someone would do this.
ReplyDeleteI just watched the third one. I'm at schooling. I'm now crying.
ReplyDeleteAnd I don't care.
For almost the entire video of #3 I was thinking somepony had made a video trailer for the End of Ponies fanfic. While I was wrong, I was not disappointed.
ReplyDeleteErr. I'm at school*
ReplyDelete(I should obviously be paying attention instead of watching PMVs)
#1 was great, reminds me of so many other songs that fit well with the videos (though it does always annoy me to hear "he" instead of "she")

#3, shivers, pins and needles. Teared up even. Sooo epic, just my favorite kinda of music, right after Hardstyle/Dubstep
ReplyDeletewow that last video "Don't Lose Hope" really hits the soft spot that no one wants to feel. Don't it?
ReplyDelete#3 Made me more happy then sad, because I know that FiM ends when WE end it moreso than when new episodes stop airing.

Number 3 had me teary eyed...=`)
ReplyDeleteSeriously folks, you're just glossing over number 1? "The Analog Kid" by Rush as a PMV and you ignore it.
ReplyDeleteYep, I have now lost faith in humanity.
After fighting back tears for the first two minutes of #3, I couldn't agree more. Yet I'm almost certain that Seth posted this because of one of his earlier posts where evrypony ripped on him for saying the series was going to end eventually.

ReplyDelete@TheAntiCat Agreed, I saw the first one and nearly shat myself in excitement.
ReplyDeletelove the fancy pants one

ReplyDelete1. Neat song.
ReplyDelete2. Fancy Pants is cool.
3. Wow, is all I can say. I will indeed keep this fandom going.
#3 When FiM ends, all the bronies will continue it! For Equestria!
ReplyDeleteNumber three is powerful. It might be a bit premature, but I don't mind. No tears, but close. It also reminded me of this one

hit 2 and was amused hit three and there was much tearing.
