We haven't had much in terms of similiar music lately, so have another mix of stuff. We start off with a Foo Fighters Scootaloo parody song in the first slot, some electro big mac stuff in the second, and finish off with a Pinkie's Brew chiptune song - because it's totally a canon song to remix now. Friendship is Witchcraft for life!
1.) Learn to Fly-MLP FIM-Foo Fighters parody
2.) Whoosh - Power Tools
3.) Friendship is Witchcraft - Pinkie's Brew Chiptuney thing

#2 is cool too but it gets annoying.
Where is everypony?
ReplyDeleteAwesome, a Pinkie's brew remix!!
ReplyDelete#3 looks delicious...
ReplyDeleteOy #3 is catchy!
ReplyDelete#1 is genius. pure genius.
ReplyDeleteInteresting sound at the beginning of #2, it's like a twangy pitch bended plucked string
ReplyDelete@amddude I'd have to agree with you, it's very interesting, I think I like it..
ReplyDeleteSometimes I have to remind myself that Friendship is Magic is a different series from Friendship is Witchcraft! It's SO GOOD!

ReplyDeletethe extended version of Pinkie's brew.
WAit you NEVER saw FiW?
Meh, I didn't really care for #2.
ReplyDelete@RavensDagger
ReplyDeleteIs FiW a dub of the show?
#1 I thought this song was kinda cute. Another nice sentimental tune about Scootaloo. Lyrics were good, singing wad alright. Based off a good song I haven't heard in ages now.
ReplyDelete#2 Kinda cool beat. You don't hear a ton of music with Big Mac in it either.
#3 Not a chiptune person myself, but a friend of mine made this, so I have to like it. Lawl, kidding. It's nice. The original to it is so fun it's hard not to like it to some extent regardless. :P
@RavensDagger Nope! I remembered seeing something about it, but I didn't watch it... I'm watching the first one right now. well. I paused it to listen to Bombes upload on youtube. but after that it will be watched!
ReplyDelete@amddudeyou NEVER saw Friendship id Witchcraft?
ReplyDeletethink of it as a really well made parody/dub/pmv of the show with a great cast of VA's

ReplyDelete@Ben Gibson
ReplyDeleteFound, filed, and promply trolled.
I was listening to that this morning. More Friendship is Witchcraft!
ReplyDelete@RavensDagger buahahahaha
ReplyDelete#1 I just listened to that song a couple days ago and Scootaloo came to mind. Weird coincidence.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have a MLP episode where Scoot learns to fly and Sweetie Belle learns to use magic.
ACTIVATE THE FRIENDSHIP AQUISITION PROGRAM.
ReplyDelete#2. It's like my Ipod's stuck on replay, replay-ay-ay-ay.
ReplyDelete#2. It's like my Ipod's stuck on replay, replay-ay-ay-ay.
ReplyDelete#1 nice to hear a bit of Scootafoo. Good lyrics I enjoyed it.
ReplyDelete#2 really liked the beat to this one, and ofc it had Big Mac in it, *brownie points*
#3 Going to have to check out FiW!
Pure Awesomeness!
ReplyDelete#1: A ponification of one of my favorite songs? Uh-oh, this has the potential to be quite angering for me...
ReplyDelete(listens to the song)
Crisis averted, and how! The lyrics are very well thought out, and the piece was sung very well. Kudos, good sir, kudos!
Why can't I hold all this awesome music?!
ReplyDeleteThat first one is pretty great. I love the Foo Fighters. The guy's voice kinda bugs me on the chorus, but I guess not everyone can hit those notes like Dave Grohl can.
ReplyDelete1. Amazing! Why wasn't I already subscribed?!
ReplyDelete2. Mmmk...
3. 8-bit magic!
#1 nice lyrics! i thought they wuz splendid!
ReplyDelete#2 i thought was funny. "YOU Bit Eeeeee MORe Chew bite bite eeeee" lol not the exact lyrics but i bet it was pretty close. :P
#3 happy chiptune!!
Foo Fighters?
ReplyDeleteFUCK YEAH
#1 was pretty damn good. Music was almost dead on, the vocals need some more post. Listen to the original track: the vocals are DROWNING in reverb. That little bit of verb and EQ would take this almost all the way to perfect.
ReplyDelete#2 would normally be described as a seizure, but I guess it's catchy enough for me to give it a pass.
#3 chiptune? haven't heard any of that in a while. Sadly... I'm actually not that familiar with the original... (don't hurt me!)
Still, sugar in whiskey? It's made FROM sugar, so.... what does that make it? Ultra-FRESH whiskey?
I thought that the first track was fantastic. My only gripe is that the vocals needed more emotion. They felt bland at times.
ReplyDeleteHuh, from the pre-listening stream, I thought it was Nay to "Power Tools" and Aye to "Twilight's Sparkle".
ReplyDeleteThis confuses me.
thanks for the comments guys!
ReplyDeleteI'm posting this to subscribe to the comments
- guy who made #1
I love the Foos with all my heart but I never really liked Learning To Fly... Until now that is. Well done sir.
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of #1, sorry. Not a fan of Foo Fighters.
ReplyDelete#3 on the other hand is Pinkie's Brew. It's catchier than some of the Daniel Ingram's canon songs. I love it. Not so much of a chiptune guy, but the song is still really good.
Oh man, The Foo's are my all time favorite band and Learn to Fly is one of the songs that my band covers.
ReplyDeletePinkie's Brew is my favourite MLP song including official ones.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, especially the first one.
