Wait, is number two, By Celestia's Beard! I see what you did there!!
Number two one second in and I thought that I was going to hear a What is Love? parody. Lol. Turned out to a parody(?) of So Many Wonders(?), which is really neat. So many bunnies, lol. Good vocal mix, it sounds nice and smooth. I like the background/lead tune very much. Probably going to download if I can. So many bunnies.........Night of the Lepus!! Ah!! Good artwork too. Not my favorite, but definitely good. Just not my style.
Number one, OH YEAH!!! VERY AMAZING :D Definitely deserving of my previous comment. Acoustic Brony and MandoPony. Very good combination. And a Scootaloo song? I wouldn't care who did it if it's a Scootaloo song, i'd probably like it. But two amazing artists doing it?! Pure awesomeness, radicalness, and whatever it is that Scootaloo strives for. I love the lyrics as well, and the guitar solo(?) is quite nice. Very befitting for a Scootaloo song!! ^__^ Hope to see more of this soon!
i don't see why 1 is so hyped up, it's alright i guess, but it's not amazing... Though there's something about that type of singing that always gets on my nerves. it was all fine, just a style/personal taste issue i guess.
#1 Wow. Just awesome. Simply awesome piece here. Decent singing, good lyrics. Really sounded great and makes you think of Scootaloo in a more dynamic and deep light. Loved it. Totally going into my pony music collection.
#2 What is this place... ? So many bunnies! /)^3^(\ lol Really catchy and cool remix. I like it.
Had a listen at number two, and I enjoyed it. But I was totally blown away by that first song. So powerful, so uplifting, so full of win! I'd write more about it, but instead I'll suggest to the rest of you to have a listen. My words cannot do that song justice. :)
Stop listening to that first song and listen to the second one, it's so much better and catchier, love that beat and Fluttershy added to anything makes it a win.
I'm still trying to make the hairs on my arms flatten out from hearing number one, once again I feel completely inadequate in the face of such creative giants haha
The first one is amazing. I feel the need to criticize everything though, so here I go.
I feel the orchestral parts should have been drawn to the forefront instead of being so far behind all of the other instruments. In the beginning and around the 2:50 mark you can hear the strings quite clearly and they sound really fitting. The guitar solo actually could sound improved if it drawn back and was mixed with the strings in the background instead of dominating the part so entirely.
The guitar just a tad harsh in some areas, changing the tone ever so slightly might make it a little less aggressive. In some areas it feels to angry as opposed to determined.
Some of the higher parts (the chorus) sound a little strained and rushed, as if the singer is rushing a little in these areas.
That being said I am being a picky bastard. The better the song the pickier my critism gets. But if playing piano for almost 14 years now, and a number of other instruments, criticism is always good for improving your playing.
@Bombedrumbum I thought the instrumentals on the first one were great I just couldn't finish it though because the singing irked me. D:
IMO Cerulean Blue by Replacer is the greatest song I've heard from this fandom so far. I swear I have listened to that song at least 10 times a day since I heard it :D
I've been waiting for #1 to go up, I just can't say enough good things about it. I've listened to it 20 times on YT already before this and it still gives me an epic buzz of sheer joy when I indulge myself, half because of the song itself and half because I can remember a time long ago when there was *lots* of music that could do that.
"Hold on, this could get nostalgic As we look back and see that friendship is magic"
I can't really pass comment on #2 as I'm still gushing over #1, except to agree with @AcousticBrony, a little bit of Fluttershy makes everything better.

ReplyDelete#2 isn't really my favorite type of music, but it's not bad.

ReplyDeleteNumber two is kinda repetetive. nice but repetetive.

ReplyDeleteAcoustic Brony and MandoPony?! Oh, man, life just got better. =D Time to partay!
ReplyDeleteAlso, so many bunnies!!! Thank you!
Word of advice: Listen to #2 first. Why? Because, while it is definitely high quality and very well done, #1 will blow you away.
ReplyDeleteSo yeah, give #2 the first listen so that you can appreciate it fully...don't make the mistake I did. :[

11/10.
No seriously it is that good.
SCOOTALOO is best pony, I'm absolutely loving all the attention she's gotten in the last 3 days or so.
ReplyDeleteI have one problem with #1. It says people all the time. If it's a Brony song, you say ponies, correct? Other than that, I like it.
ReplyDelete@br0wnr4bb1t lmao
ReplyDelete#1 Was Awesome. I always enjoy seeing some Scootalove
#2 Pretty catchy with an interesting atmosphere to it.
Sweet holy Scootalove, Batman! Excellent work, Acoustic and Mando!
ReplyDeleteAnd #2 was also great. Loved the booming bass.

ReplyDelete#2 Very relaxing <3
