Another crazy Doctor Whooves / Derpy storyboard thing has popped up, complete with voice overs and still scenes. I really should get around to watching the actual Doctor Who show.
Before MLP I didn't know Doctor Who. But thanks to my most favourite show, I got to know my second most favourite one - and the two together is really awesome. David Tennant is best Doctor. Derpy is best assistant.
@Nightmare Luna, @Rasrap Smurf I was watching Doctor Who back in the '80s, and while my local PBS station stopped carrying it shortly after Sylvester McCoy started his run, I did greatly enjoy the few episodes of his that I saw. (I also liked Colin Baker, which seems to be a minority opinion.)
@Rasrap Smurf In the 90's I watched a few of the 4th Doctor's episodes (only a few ones, but it's something!), does it count? xD And of course, I've seen the 2005 series. Now I'm watching the old series from the beginning, the very first Doctors.
This needs to be fully animated and stuff in flash like the mlp series is! If my two most favorite shows were to come together like that in a full cartoon.... I... I could just shout!! Woo hoo!
I never really did get into Dr. Who. It's such a long-running show and it would take almost an eternity to watch from the beginning. I don't want to just come into the middle of the series, either.
Seth, watch it. You will not be disappointed. I've only watched 9 episodes (the place I'm watching it on the internet SUCKS and I'm busy with other things often), but it's definitely up there with other high-quality US shows such as Fringe or the Office. If I may dare say it, it's probably beyond them because of time travel.
@Phantom240 You dont havta watch the show from the series before 2005 i started watching it like at the beginning of this month ( and i must say i love the shit out of that show now lol) and it only took me maybe a week to catch up that was cuz of school. I had a problem with getting into it before i watched it form the beginning its one of those show that you havta sit down and watch from the beginning or you will be pretty lost
@Rasrap Smurf He would've been a good Doctor, just the writing by that time was getting really bad. I mean, most of the stories during his seasons were totally ridiculous and practically unsalvageable. he last one with the Cheetah People was a vast improvement, but by then it was already too late. Same thing with Colin Baker. Awful witing and horrible direction. His later radio episodes are quite good!
Before MLP I tried watching an episode of Doctor Who, but was too lost to stay tuned. After hearing about Doctor Whooves, I decided to watch Dr. Who to get the references and such. Now I love the series and I think David Tennant is best pony! I only wish I could've seen the earlier ones.
One day he's going to end up a ginger and be totally unhappy with it. XD Because Even though he's not supposed to - he's going to end up with more regerneations than he's supposed to because WHO THE HELL CARES IT'S THE DOCTOR.
I'm wondering though if his pony appearance is somehow TARDIS related - a sort of visual translation for his visit to Equestria.

Colin Baker was also a good doctor...
