ReplyDeleteThat first comic is funnier than it should be. I'm not entirely sure if it's just the poses Twilight is in, or the facial expressions. Maybe both.

I disliked Twilight in Feeling Pinkie Keen, but only because she seemed to get comically punished over and over just for not believing.
ReplyDeleteLesson Zero was one of the zaniest and best episodes in season 2, and in the whole show. Pushing Twilight's emotional state that far while still keeping it well within her character really showed what a great pony she is.
Twilight is indeed best pony.
Lesson zero is best episode.

I've been warming up to Twilight more and more through this season. She's starting to move up my list. Dunno if she'll beat Fluttershy, but I'm liking her more lately.

It's funny how Lesson Zero came up on this post. That was the episode that truly got me interested in MLP. Between Twilight going bonkers and Fluttershy "murdering" the bear, I got dragged in and apparently was never able to escape. I rank that as my favorite episode not just from the series, but every cartoon I've seen overall. I understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea, and I won't beat up anyone about it. You guys have your opinions, and I have no right to say otherwise about them.

Is panel two of comic one supposed to be what Twilight thinks she's doing? Because that dancing is... better than what she was pulling off in the episode. No disrespect to Twilight's dancing, she's a great headbanger, but still.

ReplyDeleteYeah, it was the episode that strayed the most from Season 1, I think.
TBH, I'm not enjoying season 2 as much. I kinda just wanted season 1 again, as things started to get a little crazy. I also didn't really like Party of One, and I still think Dragonshy is the best episode.
I guess my opinion is just different than most bronies *shrug*
Oh and Pinkie is best pony. (Crazy Pinkie? Do not want.)
Pinkie pie breaking out of the comic panels joke is getting pretty old. No offense

I know there are some people who feel like the second season is missing something compared to the first, but personally I'm enjoying it even more for the most part. As for Crazy Pinkie, well she's one of the things which got me interesting in the show in the first place.

ReplyDeleteNnope! I think lesson zero was my least favourite episode; I hated it more than 'Owl's well that ends well', and that's saying something. Twilight is still best dancer, though not best pony. (Zat is Photofinish, professional Fashion Photographer) also, S1E20, S1E17 and S1E25 were some of my favourite episodes, not to mention S2E2, 4 and 6 with parts of 9. I am that kind of pony. To me, Twilight is 'good' pony, Ditzy Doo is 'better' pony, Pinkie Pie is 'equally better pony', and Photofinish is 'best pony.' We share common interests(mainly, the glamourous and fabulous life of Fashion Photography)
