Oh Pinkie Pie, why are your reality defying antics such a blast? Can't wait to see what more they have in store for her this season!
And for you Trollestia fans out there (and apparently there are a lot of you) have another interpretation of Hearth's Warming Eve courtesy of our Princess.
#1 Haha. Silly Pinkie. I almost think Pinkie set Twilight up for that one. :P
#2 I feel bad this actually had me laughing quite a lot. That's Celestia. She tells it like it is. And Twilight's face in the bottom panel just makes it. lol
#1: On the last panel, is Twilight biting the floor, or... the panel itself? Nascent fourth-wall breaking powers, anyone?
#2: Im pretty sure Twilight would quickly understand 6 ponies don't make for a strong gene pool, and that's assuming at least one of them played a character that was actually male back then. Trollestia indeed.
@SubjectNumber2394 Seth does indeed do a lot and we help out when we can. I just recently got posting rights so I thought I'd help out for an hourly update or so.
Pleasure to meet you all and I hope you all had a nice Christmas!
#2 - Heh. Not to be a buzzkill or anything, but I just kind of assumed the story was a fairly condensed, metaphorical version of what actually happened.
On behalf of myself and anypony else who agrees, I would like to say we absolutely appreciate your work for the site, and taking a load off Seth's shoulders.
I certainly had a nice Christmas as I received three (3!) pony shirts. I hope your Christmas or other gift giving holiday was enjoyable.
@Calpain Nice to meet you as well. Hope your Christmas was great too. Just want to thank all of you for all the hard work in keeping this awesome website running.
@Calpain You do so much for this fandom. I agree with MyBoyJ, we really appreciate your work for both the fandoms artists, and now this site as well! Hope you had an enjoyable Christmas too!
Ha! Twilight's face in the final panel of both comics is great. I feel bad laughing at how heartbroken/disturbed she looks in the second one, but still...
#2 This. So much this. History can be harsh sometimes... Although I'd like to see Twilight ask Trolly "Where the hell have YOU been, princess?" And then, the moon.
#1 Well played Pinkie, well played. #2 You know, it's almost like the writers of the show KNOW these things. There's probably one of them who's a cynic (or has a REALLY good sense of humor) and knows exactly how we can spin Celestia into Trollestia. That said, I lol'ed pretty hard.
#1 evil invert logic! Sparkles was baited into that! lol. #2 If the last six ponies were female, they wouldn't have survived. Unless of course you think they breed by mitosis or budding... Trollestia, y u no talk about that too, and make the situation even more awkward?
I know a lot of you love that meme, beacuse is really funny (yeah, I think so), but it makes look Celestia like a bitch, and I don't think she is at all.
@Arlax There are also bronies who like Trollestia and Molestia. However this shouldn't change anyones view on Celestia. Why? Because they are different characters. John Joseco has been running the Ask Molestia blog for ages now, and it's VERY popular, does that mean Celestia goes around molesting ponies? No. Trollestia isn't eveyones thing but it's important to separate the three Celestias, and let people use each character in their respective places.
I agree with that, but have you seen the comentaries in youtube, for example? Always that CELESTIA does something that they think it's "troll", they start with the trollestia shit. It's annoying. Why can't I enjoy a episode without one of these comments? I'm just asking for some respect.
@Arlax I don't read youtube comments myself but that's unfortunate if Celestia and Trollestia are seen as the same character. My comic was using Trollestia, and what she would do in that situation. Not Celestia.
@SubjectNumber2394 I know, and it's really funny, but some people see Celestia and Trollestia as the same character. I have to say I lol'd at you comic, really well done.
@SubjectNumber2394 Comic #2: I had not thought of that possibility! Especially since the explorers had discovered how to disperse the windigos, they did not need to migrate after all. They could have fixed the climate back home. But if they went back and everypony was dead or wouldn't cooperate... so many possibilities. As for all six being female, all six could be female _and_ pregnant. It still makes for a very restricted gene pool. Suddenly all those duplicate Colgates in the audience makes sense.
True, they could have fixed things back home, but that area had been ravaged by a prolonged blizzard, so it might have been a long recovery time. Plus, their houses were kind of crappy back there anyway. Since the new land was considered a "paradise" filled with rich resources (and had only suffered a short blizzard), it makes sense that at least some of the population would want to migrate over to it and start over.
So maybe there's a pony Old World still in existence where people toughed it out after the Windigos were defeated, but Equestria represents the New World where immigrants moved to try for a better life.

TROLLESTIA you say?
ReplyDelete#1 What do you know? Pinkie really can predict the future. Either that, or she's quick on her hooves.
ReplyDelete#2 This is probably what Twi was thinking: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
well, when you think about it, a lot of things we celebrate follow after or with death,
ReplyDelete...Calpain?
ReplyDelete#1 Don't even try Twi
ReplyDelete#2 As a guard of the princess I should banish you then lock you up, good thing I'm retired
Gosh that was hilarious.
ReplyDeleteTrollestia strikes again!
Wait...posted by Calpain? We've got everone posting today, I guess it takes a lot of people to fill in for what Seth usually does.
ReplyDelete#1 Oh Silly Twlight Sparkle you will never find out about my pinkie sense
ReplyDelete#2 :(.

Two forms of trolling here. #1 is funny trolling and #2 is just wrong. Seriously Trollestia. Not. Cool.
ReplyDeleteThis just reminds me how bad I feel for Applejack. She's the only one who can't fly or do any kind of magic.
ReplyDelete#1 I always like Solar-Slash's comics, and this is no exception.
ReplyDelete#2 Trollestia strikes again, but since this concerns an historical event, Twilight will be able to find out the truth from one of her books.

ReplyDelete#2 - I figured that the six founders were just scouting for the rest.

I certainly had a nice Christmas as I received three (3!) pony shirts. I hope your Christmas or other gift giving holiday was enjoyable.
Something I just thought and no body quote Jeff Goldblum, but if everyone else died, and their ALL female, how could there be decendents?
ReplyDeleteAlso hello Calpain
ReplyDelete@Calpain Nice to meet you as well. Hope your Christmas was great too. Just want to thank all of you for all the hard work in keeping this awesome website running.
ReplyDeleteParty for Calpain no eggnog though I used it all up for Seth and his party of Trixie statues

ReplyDeleteAghh so much Pinkie tonight<333
ReplyDeleteHa! Twilight's face in the final panel of both comics is great. I feel bad laughing at how heartbroken/disturbed she looks in the second one, but still...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement guys! I'll try to bring you more content when I can and hopefully live up to the other hard working people on this site.
ReplyDeleteHave a good one!
Trollestia must love ruining Twilight's life.
ReplyDeleteI am a bad, bad person. I laughed my plot off at the second one.
ReplyDeleteLol, the second one was funny as hell.
ReplyDelete#2 predict THAT Pinkie...
ReplyDelete#2 This. So much this.
ReplyDeleteHistory can be harsh sometimes...
Although I'd like to see Twilight ask Trolly "Where the hell have YOU been, princess?"
And then, the moon.
#1 Pinkie: Trolololol
ReplyDeleteTwilight: -_-
#2 Celestia is cold... Did lol though, works on so many levels :]
Why Princess...... *facehoof*
ReplyDeleteDon't torment Twilight. (−_−;)
Im more of a Molestia fan, but these are funny XD
ReplyDelete#1 Well played Pinkie, well played.

And that's what bothers me, a lot of people DON'T separate Celestia from Trollestia.
ReplyDeletePS: Sorry for the double comment.

ReplyDelete#2 That's why I celebrate Christmas instead.

#1 Oh dear Pinkie, thats some good logic right there.
ReplyDelete#2 Hooray for having Trollestia seperate from normal.
Both were nice comics.
@frith

omg, that Trollestia was so epicly awesome XD
ReplyDelete@Harwick
ReplyDeleteThank for that!
Now I've finally got the base of my story to plant the tower I've made
@Arlax Yeah I've noticed some people on DA saying Celestia instead of Trollestia, ah well, in time... Also thanks!
