I... I don't know why. I've liked ponies for several months. I've started at least two others along the same path because of it. This website shot up to my second-most-visited within weeks of my starting to pay attention to it all. Pinkie Pie is best ponies, and I'll insist that to anybody who brings it up.
But all of a sudden, I'm okay with all of that. I've denied it, and specifically the term, for months, because of semantics and because of community-related implications and associations.
You know what, though? I'm a brony. I now freely admit that. I'll still insist on stricter definitions of that term than are typically depicted, but I'm one.
And, for some inexplicable reason, this video has made me come to terms with that. It's far from the best, or even a particularly good one, as far as PMVs go, but... for some reason, this has affected me.
Happy Hearth's Warming Eve.
P.S. The last sound in the video has been my cell phone notification for an incoming text message for a while now. End E/N irrelevance.
I hate to be THAT guy... but this one hurt. It hurts because even understanding what makes friendship work doesn't REALLY make friendship. It's as though all the pieces are in place, but there really isn't any magic. maybe there will be someday.
/happysad to the extreme. now excuse me while i listen to pinkie sing a song that doesn't exist.
