ReplyDeleteGees...
ReplyDeleteSo. Bucking. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteBronies are AWESOME. no doubt in my mind.
ReplyDeleteI see these amazing minecraft sculptures and I can't help but be a little frightened by how much time and effort has to go into them.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely amazing.
By the Eight!
ReplyDeleteWell, all I can really say is "wow" that's impressive.
ReplyDeleteI could never do that, and that is literally speaking. I don't have minecraft.
ReplyDeletesweet Celestia.
ReplyDeleteAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I want.
ReplyDeleteHo.
ReplyDeleteLee.
Shit.
52 hours? That's a bit scary. But, it's still awesome and well done.
ReplyDeleteFar too much time on your hands sir....but epic none the less!
ReplyDeleteHow the hell is it 256 meters tall?! Did he edit the level or just redefine the meter?
ReplyDeleteneeds to be bigger
ReplyDeleteObsessed much?
ReplyDeleteOh wow. That is a whole lotta Luna... <3
ReplyDeleteThat's a hay of a lotta work!
ReplyDeleteWhen I read this for a brief moment I thought it was talking about real life. I think I need some sleep.
ReplyDeleteNow that's buckin' cool.
ReplyDeleteTalk about dedication. 52 hours? Wow.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty awesome! Lots of time spent, but high-quality work! (Unrelated, site's hitting 80 million! Sweet!)
ReplyDelete@Homfrog
ReplyDeleteIn Minecraft each block is one meter square. So all that really means is the statue is 256 blocks tall.
Impressive work. I also like how he sculpted the ground to resemble the moon.
I don't mean to be a douche, but I have to call BS. Making something like that manually and getting perfect spot on shapes like this in minecraft is utterly unheard of. Even the greatest minecraft enthusiasts aren't that articulated and skilled enough. I'm pretty sure it was imported using WorldCraft. Seeing things like this is pretty common in the minecraft community, and they are almost always imported from a 3d model.
ReplyDeleteHOLY FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU :O
ReplyDeleteOf course I'd love to be proven wrong. Some genuine WIP shots would convince me.
ReplyDeleteThis...this is very nice
ReplyDeleteUm..*squee*
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty frightened. Please no dreams of blocks.
ReplyDelete34,35,36...
ReplyDeleteWAIT! Don't go anywhere! I'm still counting the amount of Internets im giving to you.
37,38,39...
Sweet Luna that'ssimply amazing
ReplyDelete@Makkon Sadly, only the creator can prove it's real, but I trust him anyway.
ReplyDeleteWow, reading the description helps. It took him 52 hours to make the video, not just build it.
ReplyDeleteThat officially makes me a douche. Excuse me while I facepalm repeatedly.
flawless luna statue. very interesting choice of music too.
ReplyDelete@Makkon
ReplyDeleteRelax dude, at least you admited you made a mistake.
Epic Luna!
ReplyDeleteIf real then massive points for creator.
Must have made this guy rage when Luna got a new look
ReplyDeleteI-
ReplyDeleteI'm in shock from the amount of epic!
Minecraft: Legos on Crack
ReplyDelete...Mother of God...
ReplyDelete/)^3^(\
ReplyDeleteif there was any doubt in my mind that bronies are awesome, this banished them to the moon (sorry couldn't resist)
And then that guy from Shadow of the Colossus climbs up her tail and stabs her in the butt until she dies.
ReplyDeleteNaturally he's killed by thousands of Luna fans afterwards, and rightfully so.
@Yengahengadergen
ReplyDelete"Interesting choice of music"
The music is 'Luna' by Eurobeat Brony feat. Alex S., so the choice is perfectly fitting. And much like this statue, it's a tune that shows how ridiculously amazing this fandom is.
Impressive site to behold
ReplyDeleteI like Luna as much as the next pony, but this,....
ReplyDeleteLife much?
:motherofgod:
ReplyDeleteSweet Luna of mercy! This brony is an überbrony!
ReplyDeleteBy the Princesses Celestia and Luna.....That there is freaking amazing....
ReplyDeleteThat sir, is some very, VERY impressive work.
Awesome Sauce!
ReplyDeletesoo... where can I DL it? I wanna put that over my spawn to piss off my non-brony roomates.. joke's on them, the house server answers to MEEEeeeeee!
Ever seen something so great you wanted to choke yourself to death 'cuz you know you'll never be that great...?
ReplyDelete.... Minecraft classic :why:
ReplyDeleteThere are no words in all the tongues of man, beast, or pony that can adequately describe my joy at this moment.
ReplyDeleteI want to try and run this though MineCraft.Print http://www.minecraftprint.com/
ReplyDeleteMy God...
ReplyDeletewell that doesn't look that impreeeeoooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
ReplyDeletethanks dude now I have to clean my brains up ...
...
there all done
*bang*
DARN IT THEY EXPLODED TWICE!
@Makkon
ReplyDeleteThat only means he must have spent about 51 hours making the statue and 1 hour on the video.
Which is fine. I've had longer projects in MC before and I've never made anything close to that awesome.
Me: You know they changed Luna's design for season 2
ReplyDeleteCreator: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!
Awesome, but lets push through the limits!
ReplyDeleteMake. A. Server.
HOLYSH*T!
ReplyDeleteThat's an awesome Luna. Oh man, I wonder now, what would the author said when he saw Luna's new hair? I bet he spent a few minutes pondering whether changing it or keep going with Luna from Season 1.
I would've done the same.
Wow! I'd like to see Celestia banish that!
ReplyDelete@Crimson_Wing
ReplyDeletePraise Akatosh um...I mean Luna
imagine this in Legoland X)
ReplyDeletewell done!!
ReplyDeletesave file please!
ReplyDeleteNow to do this in real life, but with Legos.
ReplyDeletewhat if this was real?
ReplyDeleteIf this was real someone would be infringing a few construction codes for building a massive horse entirely out of blocks of wool. (^.^)
ReplyDeleteI love Minecraft, if just for the ridiculous stuff you can do with it. I hope Muffinworks adds eyes.
Epic Luna is epic :D
ReplyDelete@SFR
ReplyDeleteEasy: Unlike Alpha/Beta/Release, MC Classic supports maps that are higher than 128 blocks tall (I once played on one with a 1024-high map). Since normally maps are limited to 128 high, only Classic would support a 256 block tall statue.
From afar it looks smooth and rounded...
ReplyDeleteCircles? In MY Minecraft?
It's more likely than you think...
By Ysmir's beard!
ReplyDelete*takes off glasses* By Celestia's beard...
ReplyDelete@Homfrog
ReplyDeletethey say on the youtube post that they used classic, which has a larger limit. there is also a mod that allows it
When this is on the real world, I'm done with pony.
ReplyDelete@smartz118
ReplyDeletedon't you mean "crack on legos"?
holy bucking celestia of equestria
ReplyDeleteIf this made in the real world I be like good tease, but ya'll are completely f-ing nuts. But on a plus side I think Hasbro would realize it maybe good for the money to keep making the show for a long time.
ReplyDeleteIt looks generated, probably with binvox(a program that takes 3D Models and converts them into Minecraft .schematic files). It's pretty cool anyways, and the program doesn't generate paint, so at least THAT part of this was done by hand. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteBy the power of Greyskull...
ReplyDeleteI would love to see that set on fire.
ReplyDeleteHAIL OUR MIGHTY NIGHT PRINCESS! WE GIVE TO THEE OFFERINGS OF CUPCAKES AND VIRGINS! WE GROVEL BEFORE GREAT LUNA, THAT HER MERCY MIGHT SPARE US; HER GRACE BE PRAISED! *sacrifices goat on altar*
