ReplyDeleteTo be honest..I never thought I would ever get first for anything....hay, I never thought I would care enough to even try to get first. But since I learned i can now comment on this site, incould stay away from it.
ReplyDelete@twohuman I know right!
ReplyDeletethere's no lag just ponies
ReplyDelete^no duh
ReplyDeleteI want a story where Rod Sterling ends up in Equestria
ReplyDeleteor one where Tom from Toonami crashes his ship in Equestria!
ReplyDeleteor or a crossover with the movie The Fall directed by Tarsem Singh!
ReplyDeleteor or or a crossover with the movie Equilibrium, because gun-kata ponies would kick ass
ReplyDeleteHmn... I still haven't finished Fable 3 due to my laziness; SHALL I RISK THE SPOILERS? ;A;
ReplyDeleteThen again, I have the guide and I've probably already read through it... And I am a fan of a good crossover. 8D
That is what I was thinking.
ReplyDeleteI was actually working on one of these... *sigh* back to the drawing board (draws ponies)
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how much I squeed at this.
ReplyDeleteHuh, I had an idea of an x-over like this, only it was more of a "Albion discovers Equestria"-sort of thing...
ReplyDeleteWTF is this a crossover with?
ReplyDelete@D'Artagnan Rossfeld
ReplyDeleteFable.
This... it needed to be done. Definitely reading it now. Here's hopes that it's as good as I'm imagining it to be!
ReplyDelete@Celestia
ReplyDeleteOMG You played that?!
Did you save everyone or try to be nice?
When I saw the cover image, I thought this was going to be a Bioshock crossover.
ReplyDeleteOnce I got over my disappointment, I actually quite enjoyed this! Not familiar with the source material, so I don't know exactly how much this is adhering to the game, but the plot looks like fun so far!
@Sethiisto
ReplyDeleteBy erasing my earlier comment you have declared war with me and my faction. There will be no mercy from the Equuastrian Liberation Army.
LONG LIVE DISCORD!!!
. . .nice story. Gonna follow.
A crossover with Fable 3, which I thought was underrated and a lot of fun despite the flaws? One that looks like it will be a good translation of the game?
ReplyDeleteDo want! And after reading chapter one, I'm happy to say that I enjoyed it! Looking forward to the rest of this story.
@D'Artagnan Rossfeld Fable 3
ReplyDeleteBah. Seth lost my comment when he switched back from Disqus. Just wanted to say that I reviewed this for the Training Grounds about a week and a half ago, and it was pretty good then. It had a lot of show-don't-tell problems, which was why it was rejected before; he obviously fixed that. My biggest concern is that I wasn't familiar with Fable and the narrative kind of shoved the crossover in my face, which I count as a no-no after good crossovers like Fallout: Equestria and Silent Ponyville, where the crossover contributes, but it's still readable by somepony who's not really familiar. I don't have time to check if he fixed that, but I'm definitely interested in seeing this completed. He had a good premise and his writing was clean.
ReplyDeleteSo... this is a crossover with ? Fable ? Dragon Age ?
ReplyDeleteI was wondering how long a crossover would take after seeing that pic

ReplyDeleteLoving the fic here. I love the Fable series, all three installments. So this is the perfect crossover for me. I really like the idea of the storyline to Fable 3, so Ponies fit right in. :)
ReplyDeleteAs for the gentlecolt before me who believed this to be a Bioshock crossover, don't fret. I have insider information on a certain author who may or may not be writting a Bioshock crossover fic as we speak. So keep it on the hush-hush, k? ;)
umm... never played fable 3. Im not interested in it. anything i need to know that will help me understand this fic? or can i read it without prior knowledge?
ReplyDeleteIt's actually pretty cool how well Fable and ponies fit together. I'm skimming some parts since it's sticking close to the source material, but I'm quite enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteWoo, update! Reading this is making me want to replay Fable 3.
ReplyDeleteCrossovers that just replace characters of one thing with characters of another thing often go wrong when the author writes the characters in the character of who they're replacing, and not who they actually are, but this is doing a great job of avoiding that so far. Rarity feels like Rarity, and not Jasper with a name change, and Applejack doesn't feel like a Sabine clone.
The setting is also pretty well done, feeling enough like both Albion and Equestria.
