@SuperGiantrobot I could have beaten you as well, but I saw Jelfes' (my fellow first-stopper) comment, and saw that my purpose had been accomplished. Therefore, I decided to post a more relevant comment and take my time in the process
@ #1: That was just awesome. I honestly wonder how Twilight would respond to being on something on the scale of the Manhattan (Mane-hatten) project. Personally, I think she would take it, but end up with either a salt, or similar addiction.
#1 Good job. Thx for melding two great Canadian creations into one. This made me feel a little better today, having been DENIED my right to play Skyward Sword... :(
Curse you Purolator....
As for #2, i dunno what all the Owl City hate is for. He makes nice catchy tunes that are clean and clever. If you don't enjoy them, then don't listen. Simple.
#1 Great editing and lip synching, the song choice wasn't bad either. #2 Dumb question but, I assume you used a very bright color filter on purpose? Personally, I think it was just a little too bright but that's probably what you were going for. Still a good idea though.

Aww, I don't have the font. How do I has font?
ReplyDelete#1 was done pretty well for what its about
ReplyDelete#2 is pretty short, but its pretty happy
@Infusions I take pride in my line of work.
ReplyDeleteIt would appear I do.
ReplyDeleteIf you're talking about the one next to "Race the wind" that is. If not, then I guess I don't. :[

ReplyDeleteI swear, I get no credit whatsoever for the firsters that I stop
ReplyDelete#1 Hmmm, not my style of music to be honest, but the video was still good none the less, it had some really nice effects that I enjoyed.
ReplyDelete#2 Now this music suits my tastes more, and this one was done just as well ^^
Is there a reason number two was so bright? It actually hurt my eyes a little... oh well, still both pretty good, and thus concludes my day!
And I bet that the blogponies are thinking that this whole "first" and "anti-first" thing is pretty much useless and possibly annoying
ReplyDelete#1 is one of my favorite Rush songs. Therefore, it wins forever or until someone makes a Mumford and Sons PMV.
ReplyDelete#1 The music was meh, I just didn't really like it, but the scene selection was done awesomely.
ReplyDelete@cursormortis YES, YES!! THAT SHOULD BE MADE NOW!!
ReplyDelete#1 Pretty good song. Rush. :) Video was pretty alright overall.
ReplyDelete#2 Eh, Owl City. The song is decent. Though the video seems to be lacking in quality a little bit. Didn't really do much for me.
I hank whoever did that Rush PMV, they're my favorite band EVER!
ReplyDelete#2 gross, Owl City
*thank
ReplyDeleteI has font
ReplyDeletelolololol
@Bombedrumbum
ReplyDeleteIt kind of defeats the purpose if you blab on about it, just leave a witty remark or something and be amused by those who try (and fail) at it.
#1 Music wasn't quite my thing, video was brilliant.
#2 Pretty good, I liked it.
If you have to pat yourself on the back... Then you are still firsting... you're just not using the words.

ReplyDeleteI love owl city.. the second one almost had me teary eyed.
ReplyDelete@Celestia well, i'll be.....
ReplyDeleteCELESTIA REDUX WOOT!
ReplyDeleteWell.....

Yay, I got the little cloud.
ReplyDeleteAnd #1 was amazing
#1...the first Rush PMV I see is with a song from Power Windows? Did not see that one coming, ponies.
ReplyDeleteNot my favorite song of theirs by any stretch, but well done all the same.
#2: Eh, same thing. Pretty well made, not my style of music at all.
Huh?!?? How you get font!!
ReplyDelete1. Very well made and slightly trippy.
ReplyDelete2. Owl City, what more could you want?
#1 Great editing and lip synching, the song choice wasn't bad either.
ReplyDelete#2 Dumb question but, I assume you used a very bright color filter on purpose? Personally, I think it was just a little too bright but that's probably what you were going for. Still a good idea though.
Heh heh whoops. *video NOT idea. Cause that'd just be silly saying I hated it but still think it's a good idea.
ReplyDeleteA PMV? of Rush? AWESOME!!
ReplyDeleteMore Owl City, they seem to work well for PMVs.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite Owl City song (Deer in the Headlights) was already used in a PMV posted here.
I think the video work in this PMV was slightly better.
Loved #2. Short and sweet, but the blown out visuals made me think I was playing Mirror's Edge, and nobody wants that.
ReplyDeletei gotz the font, windows xp yay!
ReplyDeleteWhat was #2? some Ahole made a copyright claim against it.
ReplyDelete#2 has been taken down by UMG, i hate it when this happens... SEND THEM TO THE MOON!
ReplyDelete#2 NOOO! It was so AWESOME! *Flutersadface*
ReplyDeleteI hate when good videos are taken down. :(
I wondered if #1 would go where I thought it did. It did. Nice.
ReplyDeleteAny other Rush PMVs around?
