After an swarm of requests for it, the team over at Friendship is Witchcraft has extended their "Pinkie's Brew" song with an extra minute and a half of awesomeness. Listen in, as Pinkie Pie breaks all sorts of scientific laws, with her mysterious voodoo and 4th wall shattering super powers!
After the break of course.

First.
ReplyDeleteThat voice.
ReplyDeleteCan there be any doubt? In the show and the re worked versions of it, Pinkie is best voodoo pony.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have no sound right now, time to go dig out some headphones.
ReplyDeleteCatchy song for an evil enchantress.
ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed that not only do they do a awesome abridged series but they do actual original songs to compliment it.
ReplyDeleteThat was pretty neat!
ReplyDeleteYay, its about time!!
ReplyDeleteahhhhhh this changes everything!
ReplyDelete@Flutterfan
ReplyDeleteIt's glorious isn't it?
@Mattatatta okay, first, then post response. got it.
ReplyDeleteI knew pinkie was a gypsy!
ReplyDeleteCatchy as all heck
ReplyDeleteI've seen the Mentally Advanced abridged series, which is great...how good is FiW?
ReplyDeleteShe's got some impressive vocals, that Jenny girl. To be able to keep that pitch while doing a Pinkie impression has gotta be tricky. But she pulls it off well.
ReplyDeleteAnother reason why FiW is the best abridged for our little show. :)
@Dreadnought as Sethisto said, glorious
ReplyDeleteOmg yes, I love this song and the series they made.
ReplyDeleteIn the words of M. Bison YES! YES!
ReplyDeleteOh rats, I snapped the prong on my headset and my speakers are broken. Today is not my day.
ReplyDelete@Bombedrumbum Guess Ima have to give it a try then sometime....
ReplyDeleteOh good Celestia, YES. I loved this song, and I'm going to love this extended version SO MUCH. Haven't even started it yet, but I'm almost too excited to type this comment. Almost.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's really impressive. I'm going to go watch FiW now.
ReplyDeleteSweetness
ReplyDeleteIt's so perfectly geeky! I love it!
ReplyDelete@Celestia
ReplyDeletePrincess couldnt you just use your magic to get the prong out? If that doesnt work a pair of needlenose pliers will work.
@Celestia same here, your highness.....
ReplyDeleteWHOAH! Good stuff here, a very quirky song. I like it.
ReplyDeletepinkie can sing!
ReplyDeleteIf FIM got cancelled and the fandom decided to do a fan made continuation of the series I'd want Jenny to do the Mane6 voices.
ReplyDelete@Tired Foal
ReplyDeleteIt's not stuck in but they don't work anymore.
I managed to get my laptop running, song was really good, cheered me up a bit.
@Jelfes
ReplyDeleteYou will love it. The first episode is a bit awkward, but it gets phenomenal from there.
And now that I've listened to it...
>Baking the fourth wall.
YES.
It was everything I wanted and more. I love these FiW folks.
This is so amazing! It's in my top 5 FiM fan songs of all time!
ReplyDeleteThat crew had me at: "Me? I'm not a gypsy. I'm a pastry chef. Those aren't even similar. Or are they?"
ReplyDeleteThis is having my cake and eating it too. Their stuff has been top quality.
While we're on the topic of food, is it bad that I watch food network, and secretly hope that someone will (perhaps inadvertently/unintentionally) drop a pony reference?
And then Doctor Whooves told her to stop making work for him...
ReplyDeleteOrphanedgypsy!Pinkie is soooooooooo the best fandom!Pinkie.
ReplyDeleteAnd FIW is awesomely awesome.
Also, the pageview counter clicks in rhythm to the song. *replays and stares*
@The Dread Pirate Roberts
ReplyDeleteThat's inconceivable!!
Doctor Whooves is currently busy working with Inigo to worry about Pinkie Pie!
This made my day! :D
ReplyDeleteThe voice is kinda meh, tbh.
ReplyDelete@brilliantspecter I've watched it before, I'm just going to rewatch.
ReplyDeleteThis voice kinda sounds like Kate Monster from Avenue Q.
ReplyDeleteI admit it, I look forward to new episodes of Friendship is Witchcraft probably as much as I look forward to actual episodes of Friendship is Magic.
ReplyDeleteSad Pinkie sigh at the end made me RAGE.
ReplyDeleteLOL, what did I just listen to? Hilarious, just hilarious!
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, superwaffle, it does very much remind me of Kate Monster. =D
The effort put into this series is commendable. The song is a nice little tune. Its interesting in how it perfectly masks something dark with the usual cheery nature of the show.
ReplyDeleteI just spent three hours listening to the original, now there's an extended version? I love it!
ReplyDelete@Lend-A-Claw ever read Cupcakes?
ReplyDeleteLOL. Now that made my night! Really like these Friendship is Witchcraft episodes. Now I'll never get that tune outta my head. :P
ReplyDelete@Jelfes
ReplyDeleteOop, scratch that. I'd assumed the song inspired you to watch it, haha.
@Joe
ReplyDeleteGotta agree, the voice really is meh. The song itself is really awesome however!
God, what I wouldn't give to have pinkies VA, by some miracle, cover this song.
Wait! Quick! call up the mofo's that did the Epic Cupcake Time! Those were insanely accurate fan voices. for the sake of the fandom, it must be done.
Completely made my day, I love this series!
ReplyDeleteLyrically brilliant.
ReplyDeleteWell this is definitely a song I could see being in the show. If only there was a way to get Shannon Chan-Kent to sing this, my life would be complete.
ReplyDeleteWait, so Pinkie's a Gypsy, and one of the lyrics is "God Help the Outcast."
ReplyDeleteSecret Hunchback of Notre Dame reference?
this is so perfect, it hurts.
ReplyDeletei love these guys so much.
^The series has alot of Hunchback of Notre Dame references. Fluttershy singing "Hellfire" is another example.
ReplyDeleteI love the lyrics so much. dat second verse
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy this exists. I hopehopehope they do more songs. I laughed all the way through the sleeping song.
ReplyDeleteYeah magical Pinkie!
ReplyDeleteYou mean Gypsy Pinkie!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! 'nuff said!
ReplyDelete@Bombedrumbum
ReplyDeletei c wut u did thar. . .
"If FIM got cancelled and the fandom decided to do a fan made continuation of the series I'd want Jenny to do the Mane6 voices. "
ReplyDeleteThis.
And the remake of the sleepover episode is just all kinds of glorious.
"Daggone stick."
Orphan Gypsy Pinkie is the best Pinkie.
ReplyDeleteawesome....but mentallly advance is still my favirute abridge
ReplyDeleteWait wait wait, slow down. Eye of newt, cinnamon, a fig, bread and butter, chocolate icing, eggs, seapony tears, and provolone. Perfect, now I can go back in time to... balls. I can't get seapony tears.
ReplyDeleteFun song. Had I money I'd probably try to help fund them.
Oh, that Pinkie Pie and her gypsy magic.
ReplyDeleteAnd what are we serving up on Silver Spoon now? Are we supposed to throw her into the cauldron too? lol
This song made me watch FiW, most amazing abridged series yet. Characterization is just way awesome and deep, voices are perfect, they have original songs/lyrics... It's just perfect.
ReplyDeleteThe "getting under the covers" song to AotD was just priceless.
This is AMAZING. I'd not heard of FiW before, totally checking out. So many talented people in this community.
ReplyDeletehmm, i always prefered the mentally abridged series, but FiW definately grew on me, and the effort put into the show and original works is absolutely mind blowing!
ReplyDeleteI was calling FIW the best abridged series before it was cool.
