They keep hinting at a Granny Smith specific episode in the future for season two. I wonder when that is going to happen? I can't say she's my favorite character, but it would still be an interesting concept.
Anyway, have a pattern for this one.

Objection! She doesn't have a megaphone stuck in her eye!
ReplyDeleteI cant wait for a Granny Smith episode to come out either. Pretty good papercraft, too
ReplyDelete@Jelfes you can only see one of the eyes in this picture.....so who knows?
ReplyDeletewhat is wrong with her lip?
ReplyDeleteBesides, you could always just edit it a bit, right. Of course that would be hard........which then brings me into full admiration of whoever did this. These always look really hard to make, let alone design. Good job!!
ReplyDeleteNot to be mean but I hope not. I could think of like 30 characters I'd rather see get their own episode than Granny Smith.
ReplyDeleteShe's no Abraham Simpson.
Even if she doesn't get an episode she could do with a bit more screentime, even if only in the background.
ReplyDeletePapercraft is nice, they always are.
oh dear
ReplyDeletebut we want mor celestia!
ReplyDeleteSo uh, How about that "Putting Your Hoof Down" Episode we heard of WAY before Season 2 started?
ReplyDeleteUmmmm... I like Granny Smith, but I can list off a ton of side characters I'd rather see get an episode than her...
ReplyDeleteCelestia
Luna
Discord
Trixie
Big Macintosh
The Pony Pets
Derpy
Spitfire and Soarin'
The Pie Family
The Sparkle Family
Zecora
Mr. and Mrs. Cake
Braeburn, Little Strongheart, and the Buffalo
Screwball
The list goes on...
Well scratch that, unless it's a really cool idea like Granny Smith drinks a youth serum and turns into basically a recolored Applejack. I'd want to see that.
ReplyDelete@FlutterfanWhat if the episode is a flashback to her youth and shows off an Equestria that once was? Perhaps even showing off one(if not both) of Applejack's parents.
ReplyDeleteI think they were just hinting that she would get more screen time, and she has. She's been in 4 out of the seven episodes that have aired and has already gotten more lines this season than all of season 1.
ReplyDeletePersonally I can't wait for a Big Mac episode. I mean the guy deserves it. After all, we've made him out to be this wise, friendly, caring, and devoted family stallion. The odds are slim that he would actually turn out like that in the show, but still.
ReplyDeleteDon't you bronies ever SLEEP?!?!
ReplyDeleteOh mercy this is so hilarious... it even has her wrinkled knobbly knees! Good Goddess...
ReplyDeleteI personally love Granny Smith; I think she's adorable really~ ^.^
@otakon17
ReplyDeleteWell in my case at least, not all that much.
Yeah, Granny doesn't seem like the most compelling character, but they might surprise us. It wouldn't be the first time they took an odd core material and turned it into something amazing that more people like than was expected.
ReplyDelete>_>
Just sayin'
If she does get an episode, I hope it's a flashback to some event in the past, and gives us some insight to what happened to Applejack's, Applebloom's and Big Macintosh's parents.
ReplyDeleteI mean, big family reunion in Episode 3, but no parents? I sense a possibly tragic backstory.
I'm still waiting for a Celestia episode, but a Granny Smith one could turn out pretty neat.
ReplyDelete@LcplBronyUSMC
And that right there is how I think it would turn out pretty neat lol.
@otakon17
ReplyDeleteHeh, "sleep." That's a good one.
I'm fairly sure the elderly ponies on the train weren't created simply for the title sequence, so I fully expect them to pop up as supporting characters to Granny Smith at some point in the season... Perhaps her bridge club? Who knows. But I'd lean towards more of her to come.
ReplyDeleteAwesome and hilarious paper craft either way!
lol i asked KNA about Granny Smith papercraft like two weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteAnd now BAM! she is!
Well, she's not really a headline character obviously. She's mostly for more background purposes. But a flashback episode detailing her childhood or young adulthood like some are mentioning might be fun to watch.
