I can't wait until this winter history episode thing happens. It has to have a song, right? They cant have a holiday pageant without a song!
Have some music while we wait. This is probably the most epic winter ambiance song I have heard in years.
1.) Wintertime in Equestria [Orchestral]

There's already a winter/Christmas song, Seth
ReplyDeleteGood song, though. Really good song...
ReplyDeleteI love Winter, I prefer cold to summer
ReplyDelete@Bomb
ReplyDeleteYes it is
What a great song
ReplyDeleteMm, relaxing. It really conveys a nice slow, tranquil wintertime.
ReplyDeleteHmm........
ReplyDeleteWell, one thing is certain (this song only strengthens this fact): songs made by this community are usually, if not always better than at least 80-90% of the current stuff on the radio
Had the privilege of listening to this before it was released and Orchestral_Design did a fantastic job, major kudos!

Very peaceful. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThis is giving my favorite song a run for it's money
ReplyDelete@Travis Smith
ReplyDeleteCant agree more with you, I like cold over hot and sticky humidity
I think I caught a hint of Grant Kirkhope's work in there. Or maybe I'm just imagining things. Great song none the less!
ReplyDeleteLate winter/early spring is my favorite time of the year for weather. Its not too cold, yet it still maintains that crisp cold in the air, all the while being able to view both snow and green. Especially when there's light rain, OH, that's good......
ReplyDelete>mfw the origin story is the one from the iPod app.
ReplyDeleteMusic like this just isn't my thing, but that PICTURE is AWESOME!
ReplyDeletethis song makes it seems that if i look out my window, i will see snow falling. though it never snows where i live.
ReplyDeleteHad this unintentionally playing in the background while I listened to an audiobook recording of Go the F**k to Sleep. It's such a good fit I thought it was part of the reading track.
ReplyDeleteThis is simply awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe music is simply great. Vary nice, if somewhat enchanting, feel throughout the song. The instruments really help make that enchanting feel throughout the song.
All of the pictures shown in this video really fit the mood of the song.
Overall, great job OrchestralDesign!
You have no idea how glad I am it has a download link. I want to hear that song FOREVER!!
ReplyDeleteI really can't wait for the winter episode, but...
ReplyDeleteI've seen Pony Christmas art. Can someone please make some Hanukkah art? I feel left out and stuff :(.
FINAL FANTASY VII and Nobuo Uematsu comes to mind
ReplyDeleteHad a Final Fantasy feel to it loved it
ReplyDeleteYipe, little slow, but man this is great for calm background noise!
ReplyDeleteI want to pick up my wind instruments again... wish I still had em.
ReplyDeletereally nice song ^ ^
ReplyDeleteuh... this is a COMPLETE RIP OFF of banjo kazooie. i'm sure of it
ReplyDeleteLove OrchestralDesign's stuff. Its always so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love everything this fandom does, but when I see stuff like THIS, it makes me really proud :) Keep up the work bronys!
This reminds me of music I'd hear in a game like Tales of Symphonia. i guess in this case it would be Symponya, lol. anyway, i love it
ReplyDelete@VooDooZecora
ReplyDeleteJust letting ya know, he did use a theme from Banjo Tooie, he said so in the vid description...it's a loose homage to it! After all, those games deserve many many homages!

My biggest hope for the history episode is we get to find out how Luna and Celestia got their cutie marks.
ReplyDeleteLove the music, and while I'm at it, I, for one, would love some MLP:Fim Winter/Christmas wallpapers!
ReplyDelete@ZombiePony dude i want that to happen to
ReplyDeleteThis is my new background music for Skyrim.
ReplyDeleteAlso starts to sound like runescape towards the end. Ah, the memories.
@Kisuke indeed.
ReplyDelete.....am I the only one who thinks that you're a good musician?
This is a really nice orchestral piece. Sounded lovely.
ReplyDeleteIt shure did
ReplyDeleteAlmost turned into Banjo Kazooie near the end there
ReplyDeleteI really like this song. Though, I guess I didn't play enough Banjo Kazooie, because I find myself thinking more of RuneScape when I hear this.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI totally giggled at the Luna pictures!
Beautiful, very relaxing.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the music in the secret cave behind the waterfall in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Darkness, & Sky.
