Time for some custom vocal stuff! Only two this time around, I'm going to try to keep music posts separated by genre (With random mix posts thrown in), so if you guys could include what type of music it is in your post, it would help a ton.
1.) Griffin Village - Autumn (Derpy Hooves)
2.) The Living Tombstone - September (Feat. Mic the Microphone and PinkieSkye)

YAY More music!!
ReplyDeleteAnd more Autumn music. Can somepony turn Emilie Autumn into a brony? She makes awesome music.
ReplyDeleteHeard Autumn yesterday, but goddamn if I won't listen to it again. JackleApp is my musical hero.
ReplyDeleteMore LivingTombstone + MicTheMicrophone is just the icing on top of this post. Amazing.
Oh my Celestia, number 2 <3
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what Jackle App'll do for Spring. I hope it's gonna be like this.
ReplyDeletetombstone you are freaking amazing with your sexy accent <3
ReplyDelete~Rainbowdutch
Wow, lots of Mic turning up recently
ReplyDelete@Spell Nexus the amount of mic in that song is small, very small...
ReplyDeleteOkay, September is amazing. Holy crap, that song. The pace, the melody and the lyrics. Oh man, this song is good.
ReplyDeleteJust an amazing music update.
@milanI'll be doing a cover of September. :3
ReplyDelete@Mic The Microphoneok awesome!
ReplyDeleteany possibility you will swing by in the mlr chat again?
i see that Mic the Microphone/Living Tombstone album is progressing nicely!
ReplyDelete@Spell Nexus
ReplyDeleteAnd that's a very good thing. =P
I love anything about Derpy. Good stuff like this I love even more!
ReplyDelete@mycutiemarkisagun
ReplyDeleteWe never planned to make an album together but I LOVE THE IDEA!!! MIC?!
- The Living Tombstone
Two very professional music pieces. Love it. :)
ReplyDeleteFavorite has to be number one, but I adore number two also.
@KoolfoxOMG IT IS THE REAL THE LIVING TOMBSTONE I CANT BELIEVE I AM TALKING TO YOU RIGHT NOW!!!
ReplyDeleteSO WHAT IS YOUR BEST PONY?!?!?!?!
~RAINBOWDUTCH
Holy crap #2 was nice. I'm sure I'm missing out on Mic the Mic's work a lot, as this is only the third of his work I've heard.
ReplyDeleteYeah, personally I'd love the idea of a Mic/TLS album, especially since you're already halfway there ^^
ReplyDeleteLoved both songs, keep up the awesome guys!!! :D
#1: "I know a mare / Whose mind is free"
ReplyDeleteI don't normally care for really pop-sounding songs, but JackleApp really hit the right groove with his music, and I like the lyrics (especially the lines I quoted). Good job!
#2: Really well done and interesting, but I'm still not sure what exactly happened...
SQUEEEEE! MORE GRIFFIN VILLAGE! Man, I love all of the Griffin Village songs, and this one is just super. Jackle App you are my hero! Seiously, this is easily my favorite collection of pony songs with lyrics.
ReplyDeleteAnd, Mic, of course, always awesome, and September is no exception. Six star this stuff!
@milan
ReplyDeleteBig Mac is best pony :)
- The Living Tombstone
@jodyjm13
ReplyDeleteA nuclear fallout occurs that leaves one pony alone in an empty, foreboding wasteland. He has no recollection of what transpired prior to his awakening and is left asking himself, "What the fuck happened?!" As he searches for his answer, he starts to slowly regain his memory and discover the truth behind what really happened in that simple town.
At the end of his long journey, he finally arrives at the truth he has been searching for:
He was the pony that dropped the nuke that killed them all.
I could go in to greater speculation as to what built up to this point, but I'm lazy. :D
I actually felt surprised/shocked/something at the end of September. It would fit in Fallout 3, so I might as well mod GNR and put it in.
ReplyDeleteBoth songs are awesome and worthy of their own posts :D
ReplyDeleteI have listened to both of those about 100 times each already (I was actually re-listening to september when I saw this post) and I gotta say, they are probably my top two favorite songs right now.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the second one. When Koolfox sings the last verse, it's such a rush. I just wished the song was a little longer, because my replay button is complaining already, hehe.
ReplyDeleteBoth of them were very good, nuff said.
ReplyDeleteautumn, sooooo good :D
ReplyDeletejackleapp definetly one of my favorites :)
Holy crap, JackleApp AND Tombstone+Mic this early in the morning. This is gonna be a good day.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteBoth of them are very good indeed.
ReplyDeleteThe Griffin Village one reminds me of Owl City... and therefore it's lovely. :)
ReplyDelete'September' was talented for sure, just not my thing.
Hearing the same chord that allows the transition from Beyond her Tomb to Been Dreamin' in the beginning of #2.
ReplyDeleteAre all the songs going to lead into eachother? XD
Seriously, your guys' work is excellent. Mic's insane ranting in that song is just perfect.
#1 Wow, that was such a very sweet and beautiful piece about Derpy. Another really well made and awesome song by Jackle that's going in my music library. <3
ReplyDelete#2 And another really awesome piece by Living Tomb and Mic as well. Also going in my music library. <3 Sounds like it's based off something, like a fanfic or such.
@Koolfox
ReplyDeleteSheeeeeeeeeit ya'll up to 3 songs! 2 more and ya'll at EP length....^_^
@Mic The Microphone
lol you need some minimalist ish to spit over so ppl can properly soak in these Slick Rick Grimdark tales you're kicking. THE ART OF STORYTELLING....
#1 Manly tears.
ReplyDeletenumber 2 is the best livingtimbstone song ever it would be one of the best songs ever but ,micthemic releases some awesomness everyday
ReplyDeleteMusic like this makes me proud to be called a brony.
ReplyDeleteI listened to that Griffin Village song another time and I gave in... It's now in my music library. u_u It's so sweet! And reminds me far too much of Owl City.
ReplyDeleteI think that keeping music posts segregated by genre is unnecessary and just making putting posts together more complicated. I'll try any music posted here regardless of genre and what I prefer. How many times have you read "confound these ponies, they drive me to listen to [insert music genre]"? Segregate and that won't happen quite so often. Before MLP:FIM fanmusic, I never listened to trance. Unless Enya is trance. Is Orinoco Flow trance?
ReplyDelete1. JackleApp has done it again! I love this series so much!
ReplyDelete2. Neat song, but I feel it needs some more explaination.
@Mic The Microphone
ReplyDeleteI got about 90% of that from the lyrics, so I wasn't as lost as I thought I was, just looking for a backstory that's not there (yet). Thanks for the reply!
@Chaoyll
ReplyDeleteErm . . . you do realize that Griffin Village is an Owl City tribute project, right?
