I think the other car animation was better, if only because there was a DRAGON in it. If twilight had crazy stuff flying by too, then yeah, it might contend.
Some say that she naturally drives fast because she's already got an offset racing stripe. And that she recently traded in the Element of Harmony crown for a very familiar looking white helmet and racing suit.
#1 Only in your dreams, Trixie. :P Also, I like that swaying Vinyl as much as the actual flash itself. lol
#2 I concur with what Ikusa GT and Tchernobog said above. This looks close to a Koeniggegg. At first I was thinking NSX, but Koeniggegg suits more I think. I know I've seen this actual car before and that's probably what it was. Also, righthand drive. :P
It's either a Koenigsegg CCX or a CCXR. Can't be an Agera because the bonnet's not got divots and curves in it. Considering this is Twilight, I imagine she'll go for the eco-friendly one that can top 400 easy.

ReplyDeleteFirst Pinkie, now Twilight? Lol!
ReplyDeleteMore ponies in cars, totally bad-flank.
ReplyDeleteGreat and Powerful Trixie WOO
ReplyDeleteTwilight in a Lambourghini? definitely beats a Camaro or whatever.
ReplyDelete@wackyteen Actually that's a Koeniggsigg
ReplyDeleteI guess Twilight does other things besides studying late at night...

ReplyDeleteYeah, that's closer to a Koeniggegg than anything. Also, the other flash animation was a Trans-am, not a camaro!
ReplyDeleteThis car animation isn't done by the same author as the transam and rarity so keep an open mind ^_^.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather have the Trans-Am. Sure, this thing might perform better, but it doesn't look anywhere near as cool.

ReplyDeleteAll we know is... she's called Twilight Sparkle!
No w all we need is Rarity trying to drive the speed limit (like a civilized person) while Applejack tailgates her in an enourmous farm truck.
ReplyDeleteYAY FANIMATION

Twilight found a Koeniggsegg CCX, the unholy Swedish brute of a supercar. We're doomed!
ReplyDeleteWhen I clicked on that one I expected to hear Running In The 90's because it's a night shot driving downhill.
Then I thought: Initial D crossover NEEDS to happen.
Twilight Sparkle: Ryusuke Takahashi
Rainbow Dash: Kyusuke Takahashi
Fluttershy: Takumi Fujiwara

(look, you may not get the reference, but the author of Heavenly Turmoil does. Whattup TheManWithTwoNames!)
This new pony sports car fad is enjoyable. Make moar!
ReplyDeleteTwilight is best street racer.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing flash posts! Woo animators!
ReplyDelete...and then Doc Whooves takes out his DeLorean.
ReplyDeleteI agree with waffle.
ReplyDeleteWe need an Initial D with ponies here.
that was very minor ursa major
ReplyDeleteHa ha, #2 was edited to include Dash flying by in an F-14. Totally beats a dragon.
ReplyDeleteDamn, these look like they took a lot of work.
ReplyDeleteLol #2 was incredible

ReplyDeleteThat Koenigsegg has to be a CCXR if it wants to maintain that spoiler...unless it's the CCX with the Top Gear spoiler.
ReplyDeletePonies driving. How does that work?
ReplyDeleteLoved the Trixie animation. Especially her hugging the pillow at the end! :D
