ReplyDelete#19 From the WW2 days when B17s would carry stencils under the cockpit area. Pretty soon we will be seeing FiM ponies appearing on airplanes, eg. Rainbow Dash or Fluttershy on C-130s.
ReplyDeleteDisney or Warner Brother characters have appeared on flying machines before, and they were under copyright, so it should be a lot easier for personnel to stencil ponies on planes.

Veteran's Day is an American holiday honoring the men and women who have given their lives (or risk them now) to preserve the rights and freedoms we all enjoy. A number of European countries, as well as Canada and Australia, have their own versions, called Remembrance Day or Armistice Day, are essentially the same thing.
ReplyDeleteThe important thing? Even if you disagree with national policy or the actions of some individuals, it's important to honor those who sacrifice for complete strangers so that we can live in a world that's (mostly) at peace.

#1 Absolutely love this one... I adore the way it invokes the feeling of a vintage poster or something. Very lovely style that replicates the feel of old ink-and-paint animation cels to me (which is a wonderful thing)!
#2 This is a terrible, terrible thing for me to say but I think I have a thing for intoxicated pony fanworks... I just find them hilarious. Everything about this picture is incredibly funny (alcohol turns Fluttershy into Flutterb!tch, pouty drunken Rarity, the various background ponies and just Twilight, 'nuff said there). Love it.
#3 Interesting style on this one; I love the shaded, colored outlines and Rainbow's eyes in particular!
#4 This is such a minor thing but I still wanted to mention it... I really love the way these ponies' wings were drawn.
