Celestia being an awful sister above, and I guess you can toss your own words into that second one. Pretty much any scenario works here! Spike apologizing to Twi after she finds his "Rarity" collection? Perfect.
I was worried #1 would be Yet Another Trollestia comic, but it's just simple absent-mindedness. I can sympathize, Celestia. The artist did a good job with the expressions, too.
#2 is very nicely drawn, and while dialog could be used to fill in the details, the heart of the story is communicated perfectly without any words at all. Love it.
The first made me literally laugh out loud, especially Celestia's expression in the last panel. I've totally made that same expression when I've forgotten something.
The second one really makes me want to know the back-story. Looks like such a sweet comic!
@Travis Smith Celestia realized that she had let Luna loose without any real debriefing on how things had changed in the last thousand years. And it is hilarious.
Yeah, apparently Luna had fallen into a plot hole at some point and was down there just long enough to completely avoid talking to celestia for a good year, crawling her way back out in time for Luna Eclipsed, leaving the gaping hole in the canon as she descended from one high to dick with the shows continuity.
Yeah, I wasn't Luna Eclipsed biggest fan... Funny comic btw. I laughed.
#1 Lmao. At first I thought Celestia meant letting Luna out in public period. Haha. But the description states it means without Celestia simply teaching Luna new-age etiquette first. Alright. :P
#2 Nah, this is Spike telling Twilight she's pregnant with a bunch of little baby dragons. lol
@Octavia O.o?! What the Fluttershy, Octavia?! I'd expect that kinda humor fron Vinyl, but not you! Let's just hope that-Nope. Shipping already in progress. XD
I'm... guessing you completely missed the point that the series is achronological and that, on top of that, the series doesn't follow 'real' time?
A year has passed for us. For her, it could be a week or less.
It might be the timespan between the 21st of june and the 31st of october, but for all we know Nightmare Night can come the day after the Summer Solstice Celebration.
So it's mostly because it doesn't fit your headcanon.
@Spire. The artist deliberately left out words, so you can make up your own situation. Either Spike has done something to upset Twilight and has come to apologize or Twilight has done something she regrets and Spike has come to forgive her.

ReplyDeleteYeah, Luna wasn't really let in on the cultural changes since her last visit.
ReplyDeleteThat second one doesn't even need words, the cuteness is enough.
ReplyDeleteThe first escapes me and the second one seemed good for the scenario.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so its not Trollestia, rather bad memory Celestia. Whoops.
ReplyDeleteAnd as for the Spike one, it is cute......

1. Celestia you forot to tell your sister that you love her for some reason.
ReplyDelete2.Is somewhat sad.
The classic spit take...even goddesses can do them!
ReplyDelete1 Spittakestia
ReplyDelete2. The one in which Twilight accidentally sets fire to one of Spike's beloved toys.
I don't get the second one, can someopony explain it to me?

ReplyDeleteohh... well. I guess I'm just a wee bit daft ^-^ lol thanks

ReplyDeleteThere is no way that could have slipped Celestia's mind, could it?
