The guy working on that massive Story of the Blanks comic project has completed. In the end, it hit 60 pages altogether. It's funny, he actually improves as the comic goes on. Maybe all you aspiring artists might want to consider doing the same thing? I'm sure there are plenty of fanfics on the site that would be more than available for something like that.
Anyway, Check it out here!

"oh shit... run AB, RUN!!!"
I would so love getting comics done of my stories. That would be neato.
ReplyDelete60 pages on this, though? Damn. I definitely want to check it out, but I'll do it when I have more time.
Exceptionally well done. I would like to extend some "mad props" to the provider of this fine content.
ReplyDeleteThat was really well done, stayed true to the original game. Excellent job author!
ReplyDeleteThis was incredibly well done.
ReplyDeleteI've seen loads of webcomics go from crappy to professional (literally) over the course of the years (see Schlock Mercenary), so yeah, gradual improvement doesn't surprise me at all.
ReplyDeleteI loved the game, so I'll definitely check this out :)
Gonna have to save my opinion on this for tomorrow night...first time I played the game I didn't sleep at all that night, and since I have to work tomorrow, I don't wanna risk a repeat. X_x;
ReplyDeleteMeh, the scariest part was the overflowing amount of typos and spelling errors.
ReplyDeleteTHERE! I SAID IT!
Gotta wonder how many pages a full FoE comic would be... lol
ReplyDeleteCool, I love Story of the Blanks. I wish they'd make a sequel, though, the story raises so many more questions than it answers.
ReplyDeleteReally digging the art style in this comic. Simple but effective! The only problem is it doesn't convey the darkness of the forest in the way the game did, but really good other than that.
ReplyDelete@Nimbus the Unicorn
ReplyDeleteYou're in luck! The artist of this comic is making a sequel called 'Recurring Nightmare', with the endorsement of the game's maker!
you mean "Returning Nightmare"
ReplyDeleteAwesome comic, would like to see this animated or something. pic 58 was frickin dope 0o
ReplyDeleteWow, just as awesome and creepy as the game.
ReplyDeleteLink's broken. Any idea if will be fixed?
