Creepy Spike? Understand that we don't have enough creepy here on EqD, guys. Please accept this fact. Creepy comics are actually not that common. Actually, its been a while since we've seen a creepy comic. Killing, death, gore, that's not what creepy is necessarily. Enough with the stereotypical creepy comics. Sometimes, creepy is funny, not scary.
I'm not exactly sure what's happening in number 2. As far as I know, Twilight is in the first two panels, finds some hair, and then Spike is next to Rarity in the 3rd panel, about to cut her picture with some scissors.
@Salzvatik12 @Dublio That IS Twilight in the third panel. It's a reference to yesterday's episode, where Twi's hair god temporarily styled like rarity's, and spike swooned.
When Twi's hair was styled like Rarity's, it was only the front piece, but not the back or the tail. So when I saw that the back part of her was the same, I thought it was Rarity. Guess I should have looked closer at the stripe in the hair. I feel a little slow now. xD
Looks like Trixie needs to find a new talent. As for the second comic, since the top of the page says 'Freaky Fred', it makes me think that Spike is the creepy barber from Courage the Cowardly Dog.

ReplyDeleteYou know Seth, when you said "creepy spike comic" this isn't the first one that came to mind.
ReplyDeleteThat second comic was so creepy, but also strangely hilarious.
ReplyDeletePoor Trixie. She never gets a break. =P
ReplyDeleteCreepy Spike is CREEPY!
#1 Aww, shoot, Trixie. You can't beat Applebloom with her so many talents.

ReplyDeleteBut yesh, the faces are hilarious. :D
Number 2 confuses me.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Twilight for the first 2, then a switch over to Rarity?
#2 SIMPSONS DID IT.
ReplyDeletesorry, had to.
Oh hey, all of the first letters of Bombedrumbum's comment spells out "Cupcakes."
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty sneaky Bombe. I was wondering why your comment seemed...different somehow.
#2 for those who don't get it: Spike is cutting Twilight's hair to look like Rarity's.

Oh, NOW I get it. Spike was holding up Rarity's picture so he could accurately cut Twilight's hair into Rarity's style. Derp.
ReplyDelete#1 Haha, even Trixie is no match for applebloom.
ReplyDelete#2 Creepy spike is indeed creepy.
@NDupree - Oh. Oops.
ReplyDeleteWhen Twi's hair was styled like Rarity's, it was only the front piece, but not the back or the tail. So when I saw that the back part of her was the same, I thought it was Rarity. Guess I should have looked closer at the stripe in the hair. I feel a little slow now. xD
Yes, the comic makes much more sense now.
#1, Trixie got pwned. Ah ha ha ha.
ReplyDelete#2, Spike = Flanders?
@NDupree93
ReplyDeleteI was hoping someone else would catch that.
"If you'd just let me take a little more off the back..."
At number two : DO NOT WANT.
ReplyDeletePoor, Twilight, I can only imagine how freakin' creepy and awkward it would be to wake up to that.
That one is just weird. Really, really, really odd.
Yep...
Weird . . . REALLY REALLY REALLY weird.
ReplyDeleteAt least she woke up before part 2 of his plan.
ReplyDelete1. Oh, Trixie, give it up already! Just be yourself.
ReplyDelete2. It's funny how Twilight looks good with that hair. However, Spike is going a little too far.
Number two is a reference to an Alfred Hitchcock movie called Vertigo.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Trixie needs to find a new talent.
ReplyDeleteAs for the second comic, since the top of the page says 'Freaky Fred', it makes me think that Spike is the creepy barber from Courage the Cowardly Dog.
#1 Bwuahaha was thinking the same thing when I saw the episode!
ReplyDelete#2 Disturbing, yet hilarious.
Boy, a hella lotta comics today, aren't there?
ReplyDeleteLooks like someone is learning from Fadri's expressions... Anyway, that 2nd one is CREEPY, Spike Flanders CREEPY level.
