• Comic: Dive to the Heart - Apple Bloom

    I have to admit, when I saw Kindgom Hearts in my email, I was about to prep the moon canon. We don't have any luck at all with KH crossover submissions for the most part, even if I do love the games. 

    This on the other hand... do freakin want.  Apple Bloom keyblade master is now best pony, all years, every years.

      Now I am going to comment on the post.

      The art is simply great! It really looks like 3D art yet it is 2D art. It really looks like KHII and major props for accomplishing that.

      The story is like KHII and is successful at recreating the beginning of KHII.

      My favourite game series of all time along with my favourite TV show of all time? Awesome!

      I knew (hoped) somepony
      would do something awesome like this once I saw a few of KH's staple
      'Glass Platforms' turn up in a few drawfriends. Its a shame that while
      there is some KH/MLP crossover fanfiction its fairly so-so in quality.
      In fact, KH fanfiction in general is fairly so-so.

      That
      said, the best fanfiction I have ever read, EVER, in any fandom, is the
      'Annals of Darkness' series by Shire Folk over on ff.net. It's set
      after KH2, and is currently longer than the Lord of the Rings Saga when
      it comes to total word count, and its only about a quarter of the way
      done, and every word is excellent. I strongly recommend it to any
      Kingdom Hearts fan. Perhap's it's only letdown is that it that it doesn't contain ponies (Although who knows what the future holds...)

      I have a 3d model of Sora and Roxas as Ponies on MMD, I've also got Riku in the works.

      i really hope there are more of these, KH is the best game of all....ooh since hasbro owns transformers u could toss that in too

      Ooo... Pretty colors! Now I feel obligated to finish Kingsom Hearts and buy Kingsom Hearts II... I did find a slight error in one of the panels. When it zooms out on the picture of the Cutie Makr Crusaders Apple Bloom should be standing on what's-heer-face's face. Really well done!

      Make sure you play Chain of Memories, either classic game boy advance version or the PS2 remake if you live in America- sadly the remake was never released in europe, which made me sad. I wanted to hear Larxene's voice!

      Anyway, CoM is pretty important for understanding the begining of KH2. And when you are done with 2, be sure to play 358/2 Days, Coded, and Birth By Sleep.

      (Birth by Sleep and KH2 tie for the best in the series, btw. Aqua is by far the best/most powerful character.)

      *le gasp* Someone needs to do pony art of Organisation XIII! In fact, pony versions of all KH original characters would be great.
