I had an idea. I am a master at Risk. Tell Luna to play you want a rematch and use your magic to make me look like you. That way she thinls she is getting owned by you.
Now wheres the fun in that for any of us? I don't need to have someone beat Luna at Risk for some false feeling of victory. Its downright silly and not entertaining at all.
#1 Um, I have a confession guys... I've never actually played the board game Risk. *prepares for bombardment* But yay, Luna is excellent military strategist! :D
#2 Aww, I was waiting for another prank at the end of this somewhere. Maybe Luna with one of those buzzers on her hoof to prank RD again. :P
#1 There's a version of risk called Risk 2210 AD. It's set in the future so you can do future type things. Like sending soldiers TO THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONA
Oh, come on @pg13fresno, you can at least say it was nice of Luna to apoligise to RD. Besides, I would still like Rainbow Dash because she was just pranking and it didn't hurt anypony, it only scared them, and on Halloween, you need to get a good scare or two.
Honestly, I'm surprised Celestia didn't get angrier. I am usually pretty even tempered, but losing at Risk is one of the few things that cause me to flip out. MY ARMY WAS TWICE YOUR SIZE! HOW THE EFF DID I LOSE!?
yeeeeeaaaaaaaah I wasn't gonna say anything for the sake of LOVE & TOLERANCE but I was thinking that too.
Like, wtf. I felt like Peter Griffin in that cutaway where he's watching a production of Chekhov's Uncle Vanya: "What the hell is this? For crying out loud! Somebody throw a pie!"
and then, almost as if to *deliberately* piss me off, dude includes this high & mighty disclaimer that makes it sound like its not good enough to simply credit dude for the art, I need to ASK PERMISSION before I load dat png into PS. So if I want to change the dialogue in the word bubbles to something.....oh i dunno....FUNNY/VAGUELY INTERESTING, I need to message this douche and wait for a affirmative response or else I'll get a Cease-and-Desist letter in the mail from Dewey, Cheatem, & Howe. And if I upload it onto Ponibooru anonymously, he'll file a subpeona to get my IP address. lol negro plz
#1 Luna rules, Celestia drools. Acttually, playing Risk isn't that hard. You must really suck at planning and sticking to a plan, or having terrible luck to lose ALWAYS. :D #2 Sishoof?
@mycutiemarkisagun You should never hold back critique for the sake of being nice. No artist can improve what they dont know needs improvement. I agree with you and cold fully, this comic lacks the storytelling. "Im sorry." "It's okay" That could have been done in a single panel even without any text.
Just because something is pony doesn't excuse artists from having to tell an actual story.
This also makes me wonder, fanfics have to go trough some quality control to get posted here, by means of prereaders.... why doesnt the same apply to fanart and comics?

ReplyDeleteThe first one is quite amusing; I can feel Celestia's pain, having had games where I rolled about three times as many 1s as 6s....
ReplyDeleteThat was quite fun..
ReplyDeleteLOL
heh, i remember playing that game once... it took 2 days to complete and we never played it again...
ReplyDelete#1 I was never any good at Risk, only at finding ways to lose at it.
ReplyDelete#2 Aww, thats nice. Wonder what Luna thought of Dash's shadowbolt costume?
@Celestia

Also, #2 D'awww
I think Fluttershy deserves an apology more than Dash.
ReplyDelete@shadow heart
ReplyDeleteas part of the NLR military council and Luna's personal advisor BRING IT ON
@Shadow Heart

I would rather lose and enjoy it.
1. Luna is a master at military waivers
ReplyDelete2. Dash take off that costume. You remind he of her evil self that way.
PAGEVIEW COUNTER!!! Y U NO WORK REAL-TIME?!
ReplyDeleteლ(ಠ益ಠლ)
@KTS her

ReplyDeleteHere my proposition,
1. If me and Celestia win, Luna must dress in a frilly pink dress and trot up and down Canterlot's Main Street while chanting "I'm a pretty princess"
2. If we lose, Celestia will give a half hour speech on all the ways that Luna is better than her, and I will become Luna's servant/guard for life.
#2 I was expecting a hoofshake buzzer in the last panel.
ReplyDelete#2 That's silly! why Luna had to apologize for that? sheesh!
ReplyDeleteanyways nice :D
Non one can win at Risk, Luna just lost the teast
ReplyDeleteRisk, also know as "Suck it, I own you!"

Loved the first one that was adorable xD
ReplyDelete#1. I know your pain, Celestia. Risk hates me, too.
ReplyDelete#2. Good comic, but Luna really didn't need to apologize after Dash almost torpedoed her last chance at getting liked.
I'm sending FireFox a formal complaint, one that will Seth-proof the spell check.

ReplyDelete#1. I personally love risk, however I haven't won a game yet.
ReplyDelete#2. Is Nawwwwww! :3
#1 I both love, and am good at that game. The princess and I should have a match sometime.
ReplyDelete#2 I kept expecting something unprecedented or funny to happen, but it didn't. Just a warm, heartfelt apology and good feelings all around...
ME GUSTA.
I'm thinking that we need to make a My Little RISK game. That would be epic.
ReplyDelete@All the RISK-crazy bronies:
You are all my homies. I thought RISK was a dying breed of game, but you have proved me wrong! *Brohoof*

ReplyDeleteCelly should consider trying Settlers of Cattan.

Never played Risk. Never heard of it. Never will care about it.
ReplyDelete1. It shows that of the millions of things Celestia does, RISK is not one
ReplyDelete2. I wonderd when she would dot that in the episode.
Also glad they made the Dash's costume, it's my pic!
#2 was okay, but Luna's speech pattern was all wrong. :/
ReplyDelete#1 "BANISHMENT!"
ReplyDelete#2 was ok,its so cute how hard luna trys. But I still find it funny that rainbow dash is in a shadow bolt costume.
Okay, this is something I've noticed about a lot of comics: there's no story or even an attempt at humor.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the point of #2? Luna apologizes. There's no conflict, development, humor, insight, or anything. Luna comes back and says she's sorry.
Why did the artist spend all his time creating a comic that essentially said nothing? Why did we spend our time reading it?
....I still demand to know why Luna's neck is so damn thick now.
ReplyDelete@Pinkamina Diane Pie
ReplyDeleteWhy so emo? Maybe we can go on a date. Will that cheer her up?
@MrDiscord
You're a fraud. Teech is way cooler than you, faker.

It's sad that a pony can play risk and I can't even under stand the instructions

@Shadow Heart hey now why so hostile? Eerything is done only in good fun.
ReplyDelete#1
ReplyDeleteSo this is why Celestia sent the Mane 6 after Nightmare Moon. Had she of gone, they'd just play Risk and the result would of ended the same way.
