Why so many fics about Equestria being in ruins?
ReplyDeletesounds interesting...
ReplyDeletealso first ?

ReplyDelete...Please tell me this is an homage to Hitchhiker's Guide.
ReplyDeleteYay comedy Luna stories!
ReplyDelete@Raefire
ReplyDeletef it is, please shout my name, very, very loud. I'll be on Betelgeuse if you need me...
@CoffeeGrunt
ReplyDeleteTwo pages in...yes, it most likely is.
Hill.
ReplyDeleteLarry.
Us.
Yikes, that's a lot of footnotes.
ReplyDelete"Story: On The Equestrian Republic And "Equestian" Citizenship"
ReplyDeleteSecond "Equestrian" lacks an "R"
@Raefire
ReplyDeleteNo. No it's not. It may be a parody of cicero's on the republic but if not it's based on another classical Greco-roman work.
This is hilarious xD I love how you make it seem authentic with the professor and everything
ReplyDeleteAs I quoted on "Doing the Nasty," I'm afraid I have to shut this down due to obscene levels of silliness. Go home everypony, your spouses and foals are worried about you.
ReplyDeleteNeeds the rest of the chapters. It is hilarious.
ReplyDeleteno!! it's too good to stop reading but there's nothing left to read!!! whatever shall we do!! (what? forgot my meds again?...)
ReplyDeletepants-pissing hilarious, but it's way too short.
I agree, it was a tad short, but very funny. I look forward to more.
ReplyDeleteThis is very funny, you really should write more. I particularity like the footnotes, and you have created a very interesting character in Astrides.
ReplyDelete*snerk* Well that was rather amusing, nice work!
ReplyDeleteI love a good dose of absurdity. Please let the complete tag be a mistake. This is too good to not have more,or at least it feels that way.
ReplyDeleteI like how some of the footnotes actually address one another, almost like an online comment section.
ReplyDeleteTiropita Pie... Perhaps an ancestor of a certain pink pony?
ReplyDeleteImage source is to CamalieManic on dA! Sorry, I'm just really freaking paranoid about this image since it was already stolen once for an art contest ;; Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI like it, though the footnotes were the best part. I hope it keeps coming.
ReplyDeleteA bit silly, but a good enough read.
ReplyDeleteI read about 2 pages, and it makes no sense whatsoever. I'm not masochistic enough to read on. Rating: Hated it.
ReplyDeleteNicely written (and funny), but as a Brit who often debates the benefits/disadvantages of our respective political systems with an American friend (he votes right, I vote left) I'm inclined to counter-argue some of the points put across, especially given that Equestria is most likely a constitutional monarchy, not a republic.
ReplyDeleteIf you writing this basically as a parody/comic-explanation of the American system of government, then cool - otherwise I'd be inclined to shake it up more and mix in some more variety (also, evidence in the show suggests Celestia has a lot more direct power than you imply here - she was able to independantly set Twilight up as Ponyville's librarian, suggesting a degree of direct, centralised power over public ameties).
But still, hilariously written!
"They must be tough, strong, smart citizens to whom Authority Equals Asskicking, as the great philosopher Tropicus wrote."
ReplyDeleteI c whut u did thar.
We need more training material from this "author".
ReplyDeleteThis is so much fun XD I especially love the back and forth conversations in the foot notes.
ReplyDeleteThe foot notes were, frankly, very amusing. Not an outright laugh riot as a whole, but did get me a loud chuckle here out of me. :)
ReplyDeleteThe "author" is an interestec character, that I will admit.
