VastaKustutaOkay the ending was a little weird (Spike is just a baby!) but this deserves six stars for all the amazingly over-the-top pickup lines. It's hard to pick a favorite, but "I have a Ph.D in smooch-anomics" had me in stitches. Vinyl Scratch's method of getting rid of Soarin was PERFECT, lol. I was expecting the fic to be about Soarin hitting on the mane six, but I think this worked out even better with the background ponies. Great job --I was laughing from start to end.

VastaKustutaI can't get this goofy smile off of my face. You could've set up the scene a bit more like 'When Harry Met Sally', but still, I've got the goofy smile to prove that it was funny.
Funny stuff, I read it like Soarin had Johnny Bravo's voice mostly.

Just because Rainbow Dash is obsessed with becoming a Wonderbolt doesn't meant Soarin would automatically succeed with her. She would refuse his advances just like all the others, though she might spare him the violence.
VastaKustutaAs for the sotry, I enjoyed it. It was a fun read.

VastaKustutaToo much slapstick and violence, not much of an original story or progress and the ending-that is how Spike defeated Soarin'-was kinda...not in-character.

This might not be the place for it, but I've noticed that a few older stories have disappeared from the blog archives. A Shower of Stars, for example, which is sad, since it was one of my favourites that I forgot to save to my hard drive. Why is this?

Fun read, and now that it's mentioned, I do see the Johnny Bravo in it. (Didn't grow up with CN)
I love almost everything in this fic. I am not a fan of SpikeXRarity, so that part bugged me a little, also it seemed so forced and quick to appear. But I loved it in general!

Soarin' isn't kidding about the male-female ratio. For a while I thought Big Macintosh and Spike might've been the only males in the show

This was so formulaic and repetitive that it somehow turned inside out and became HILARIOUS. 5 stars.
