People argue about it on Pony Chan all the time ignoring the fact she wasn't even really a white pony according to the creators. =P But they like her new look better anyways.

VastaKustutaI always picture her voice being closer to Rainbow Dash's, maybe a little deeper and raspier, like Rainbow Dash when she's annoyed. Fan voices of her are always really soft though, but those fit well too.
Every time I've heard fan voices, my reaction has been "That's not at all how I imagined it. It works."

also, i wanted to buy some red contact lenses to wear under my awesome blue shades.
blue dyed hair, red coloured eyes, super reflective blue shades, and (as a complete coincidence) i also happened to buy an olive green hoodie a few weeks ago XD
oh well, now i have another 364 days to prepare for next time

That was awesome. I always prefered the red eyes, they're a striking contrast to the cool colors of her mane. Before this I never actually considered what Vinyl's voice sounded like, but I won't be able to read a line of her dialog in a comic or whatever without hearing it in that voice, it's that perfect.
VastaKustutaThis may sounds shocking to some of you but there are MLP fans who don’t care about the eye color of a background character with roughly five seconds of screen-time. Is the color of her eyes such a big issue? I think she looks good with red eyes while others may thing green eyes suits her better. Everyone has the right to have his/her own opinion.
VastaKustutaBesides, it’s very unlikely that red is her official eye color. How many ponies in the show have red eyes? Maybe they give her red eyes as a nod to the Brony fandom, but I wouldn’t count on that. So if she shows up again, she’ll most likely have a “normal” eye color like green, purple or golden.

VastaKustutaA long while back some one asked Faust what she thought about the fanon giving her red eyes, and she pretty much replied "sure, whatever". Im pretty sure she also mentioned that She's not actually white, but more of a light cream color; she looked gray/white in her only scene due to the night setting.

I like the introduction. I'm so used to seeing that loop of Vinyl Scratch everywhere; it's very refreshing to go beyond that.

VastaKustutawhile i have nothing against this voice at all (it was in fact amazing) i always thought of her voice as a little scratchier. like she shouted a lot for her DJing. That could easily be due to my limited knowledge of DJs and their work (all the ones i know shout a ton >.<)

As for it being canon, I think it'd be funny if the writers/Lauren Faust/directors or whoever caught wind of this, have Vinyl be in an upcoming episode, have her eyes be a different color, and then have one of the mane six (probably Pinkie) address it by saying 'Huh, that's weird. For some reason I thought they would have been red.'

VastaKustutaPsshh, I thought everyone knew that by now. Still, great little animation. My only problem is that Scratch's voice didn't really fit for me. The thing is, I'm not sure ANY voice would have fit. I don't know, it just feels weird to pin a voice onto a silent character who I've grown to love. I'd love it if Vinyl Scratch made a reappearance in the show, but to be honest, I hope she never talks.
