@GadgetAh, but that's the beauty of it. She actually does show up like that in one scene of the show, to be exact in the episode "Green Is Not Your Color" :D
Fluttermelancholy? The first one is terrific, the second pretty if a bit ordinary.
I've never heard Linkin Park, so have no opinion one way or the other about them. Could someone who's similarly neutral tell me whether the third video is worth 8 or so minutes of my time? (5 to download, 3.5 to watch)
I kinda liked #3. I wish it had more action and a better variety of scenes, but the editing was pretty good and I love the song. The thing I liked most about it is that not all bronies hate Linkin Park like the rest of the Internet. It's almost like they're the new Nickelback (who have always sucked). Yes their new album is weird and electronic and not good music, and yes Minutes to Midnight wasn't that great of an album, but they do have some really good songs. I doubt I'll like anything new from them, but I'll still listen to their old stuff. Also, this gives me hope for the Bleed It Out PMV I've been considering.
The song Octavarium is my favorite song by them, and may be one of the greatest prog songs I've ever heard. The CD is great but IMO Scenes is just perfect in every aspect.
For now though, let us enjoy this combination of ponies and DT, for it is one that should enjoyed
I usually always shuffle my ipod, but there are always those instances where I'll just throw up Scenes and listen to it end to end. I also do the same thing with Six Degree's, such a great song.
There need to be more ponies and DT, granted there aren't too many of their songs that would make good PMV's but still, I'm sure there's someone out there who could make it work.
1st and 2nd need way more lip synching. It adds another dimension to a video to have it actually looking like the character is singing. That said.. 1st had a sad ending scene and had potential.
2nd was also sad, but felt like a miss.
3rd had some synch issues but was otherwise well done. First linkin park pony video I've seen surprisingly.
#1 was pretty good. I didn't expect it to hold my attention for 1.5 minutes.
#2 was pretty average. Didn't jump out, didn't watch more than a minute.
#3 Bahahahaha! You think I'm going to watch something with Linkin Park music in it? I'd rather beat some baby seals to death; at least that has a beat.
@jodyjm13 Well, I just looked up Elle G. The Newsboys is my second favorite still operating Christian band, but I haven't heard much of their stuff. Been to one of their concerts, have one album, their latest Go album. I had heard a couple of their earlier songs on the radio, and I knew they had been around for a while, but that was still a bit of a shock to me. It's so...90's. Feels strange pony. I'm only 15, after all. Still a great song, but it felt like a mix of Coldplay and Genesis to me, which I suppose isn't all that bad. Just...retro. I don't know Steve Taylor, so I didn't bother looking his up. But thanks for that view into the past of the Newsboys.
@musicssound I'm glad you enjoyed that taste of the Newsboys' past; I've fallen behind in the music scene and don't have their most recent albums, but Going Public (which "Elle G." closes) and Take Me to Your Leader are two of my favorite Christian albums.
As for Steve Taylor, he's one of the pioneers of the Christian rock movement, bringing a punk sensibility and a sharp, satiric wit to the '80s Christian music scene that few can match even 30 years later. "Jenny", in all honesty, is not one of his best songs, but it's one of the darkest songs I've ever heard, which is why I brought it up; if you want to sample some of his songs, I'd recommend looking for the albums I Predict 1990 (for fairly traditional rock) or Squint (which has a number of really wild, even experimental tracks). He also wrote and co-produced a half-dozen Newsboys albums, including the two I mentioned.
(Apologies to everyone else for going off-topic; now back to ponies. Yay Fluttershy!)

VastaKustutaLinkin Park?! Favorite band + favorite show = instant-win!
VastaKustutaMan, even Ponies can't make Linkin Park not-boring.
VastaKustutaI actually like Fluttershy with black high-lights... i know it wouldn't suit the show but on a brony or fan fiction kinnda way then, yeah, it works
VastaKustutaPonies and Dream Theater, a match made in heaven
VastaKustutaLinkin Park rocks, yay~

Linkin Park FTW! That was fairly well put together.
VastaKustutaThe first one is sad though...
@jodyjm13As someone who stopped liking them years ago, I actually like this song. So perhaps it might be worth your while.
VastaKustutahow dare you ponies!! linkin park is the best band ever!!
VastaKustutathey where better yes, but they are still OK. and linkin park mixed with ponies?
BEST. THING. EVER!
p.s. no more sorrow rocks!
F Linkin Park man, DREAM THEATER!
VastaKustuta@Lazulic Even though I don't think "A Dramatic Turn of Events" is their best album, I love this song. so sweet
VastaKustuta#1 was pretty sad, actually
#3 I think i'm done with my Linkin Park stage, they just don't excite me anymore
@LcplBronyUSMC
VastaKustutaThanks; I'll give it a shot!
@Lazulic
VastaKustutaADTOE is their best album SINCE Scenes
@PPiestyle I like Octavarium better, but it's really opinion. I just love The Answer Lies Within and Octavarium from that album.

@PPiestyle Yeah, I love Scenes, but I also like to shuffle my iPod, and it doesn't work that way with that album. kinda gotta listen in order.
VastaKustutaBut yes lets admire ponies being mixed with DT *admires*
1. Sad.
VastaKustuta2. Sad.
3. Linkin Park sad.
I feel depressed now, thanks.

Dream Theater? In MY ponies?
VastaKustutaI certainly do not feel far from heaven right now.

Say, am I the only one who finds that "projector" filter obnoxious?
VastaKustutawhere did u get the picture of fluttershy up there?
VastaKustutaOK, finally watched #3; pretty well done, and I like the message of the song, but I can tell that Linkin Park is not my type of band.
VastaKustutaAnd for all those posting about how sad the first two are, some advice: never listen to Steve Taylor's "Jenny", or the Newsboys' "Elle G."
