1.) Borderlands PMV - Mad Trixxie
2.) The Edge of Night - Friendship is Magic PMV
3.) The complete history of Soviet Equestria arranged to the Melody of Tetris
#1 was good, but I still don't like Borderlands, it causes so much conflict amongst friends, as I've experienced...
#2 was epic, sounded like something that would be played in a really dramatic part of a LOTR movie.
#3 Well, it was just a matter of time for this to happen, it was done well too! The scenes were chosen perfectly for the parts of the music, I most commend you person who made this.
Holy cow, the third one was awesome. I haven't heard that song in forever, for some reason. The fact that the game Tetris so accurately mirrors Russia's political and social turmoil is astounding, and ponies just made it 20% cooler. But you don't get to keep that 20%, it belongs to the state.
@Lazulic Also, I have a justified reason for doing so, it's not so much about myself getting first comment as it is stopping others from, "first," 'ing; it also makes me laugh when someone thinks they got the first comment but someone else got a somewhat relative comment in before them.
As long as we're going to be going with the Discorded ponies, now we need...
Red Lantern Pinkie
Sinestro Corps Fluttershy
Blue Lantern Applejack (Hoped that by lying she'd hold together their friendship)
Indigo Lantern Rainbow Dash (Felt compassion for Cloudsdale I guess?)
Green Lantern Twilight (Held out the longest against Discord before turning gray)
And White Lantern Celestia
Dunno who we'll get for Star Sapphire or Black Lantern though... I'd say Black Lantern Discord but as far as I can tell nobody died when he was running amok, nor were there any Zombie Ponies as far as I know. Maybe Star Sapphire can be Derpy, though :)
Came for the sake of LotR fangirl-ism, stayed for the Tetris.
If by any chance I'm ever able to attend a soCal brony meetup and it just so happens there is some convenient Teris to be had, I will have to bring the beatdown on any of you up for the challenge~
P.S. The new EqD banner appeared when I loaded this page, and I must confess I'm a little terrified.
"#2 was epic, sounded like something that would be played in a really dramatic part of a LOTR movie."(me earlier) Wow, did I call that or what? I really had no idea, it just seemed to fit so well.

ReplyDeleteBorderlands! Betcha it's that Cage the Elephant song...
ReplyDeleteToo bad you didn't get me at seven like you'd said!
ReplyDelete@Lazulic Proven wrong!
ReplyDeleteI was busy programing unlike someone!
ReplyDelete@Am I late Yet? Is this about me? I'm sorry...
ReplyDelete@Lazulic
ReplyDeleteSorry, meant for Jelfes
@Am I late Yet? Can't believe nobody else has commented yet...
ReplyDelete*stumbles in* hey, guys, arguing over first or something? Cause I could totally beat both of you if I wasn't lazy or forgetful.
ReplyDelete#3 had a perfect ending.
ReplyDelete@wackyteen Yes, those foals up there seem to have a contest for "first comment" alot of the time.
ReplyDeleteThe third one is AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteI loved the History of the Soviet Union set to Tetris. Adding ponies, as with most everything, just makes it a million times better.
ReplyDeleteThis may be the first PMV post where I really enjoyed all three.
#2 made me cry a little.

@Am I late Yet? Well, there's not too much I can program when somepony has all the code, I can't even tell which things you've already completed!

Heh, Borderlands. That seems to fit Trixie though a little bit. I could see her saying that. :P
ReplyDeleteHuh, the song in the second is from Lord of The Rings, but I don't remember it. Odd. But it's a very nice song for sure. Not a bad video. :)
Hah, I love that song in the third one. Awesome. The video was pretty good too.
First!
ReplyDeleteThe third one has actually been done before back in April and I personally like that one better.

They all had great editing, but the History of Russia was just too brilliant!
ReplyDelete@Filiecs
ReplyDeleteSeconded. The first version was significantly better despite missing the very last verse.
#1 was great. Trixie makes a perfect Moxxi
ReplyDeleteAll of those were just great!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't help but keep jigging from side to side at #3
ReplyDeleteEdge of the Night: Because Lord of the Rings just goes way too well with ponies.
ReplyDeleteLoved three bar the last verse, but the first one just seemed to fit Trixie so well
